III USAGE GUIDELINES
1 - Placement of electrodes
For optimal results, use the electrode

2 - Connections
A) Connecting the cables
The stimulator cables plug into the 4
sockets on the base of the device. All 4
cables can be connected simultaneously.
Both the +/- buttons and the cables
are colour-coded to simplify use and

des pacemakers et des débrillateurs

veineuse ou d'obstruction artérielle

2 - Mesures de sécurité
Eléments importants à prendre en
considération lors de l'utilisation du
Rehab 400 :
• Ne pas utiliser le stimulateur dans
l'eau ou dans des environnements
humides (saunas, piscines
d'hydrothérapie, etc.).
• Si vous êtes enceinte, ne pas placer
d'électrodes directement sur l'utérus
ni connecter des paires d'électrodes de
part et d'autre de l'abdomen. En effet,
théoriquement, le courant pourrait
affecter le coeur du foetus (même si
aucun rapport n'indique que cela est
dangereux).
•Soyez prudent si vous traitez des
patients présentant des problèmes de
sensibilité ou n'étant pas en mesure de
vous faire savoir s'ils ressentent une
gène, même légère.
• Soyez prudent en cas de stimulation
à proximité immédiate de téléphones
portables allumés, car cela pourrait
affecter la puissance de sortie du
stimulateur.
• Ne pas utiliser le stimulateur ou
le système sur un patient qui est
relié à un instrument chirurgical
haute fréquence, car cela pourrait
provoquer des irritations cutanées ou
des brûlures sous les électrodes.
• Ne pas utiliser le stimulateur à moins
d'un mètre d'appareils à ondes courtes
ou à micro-ondes, car cela pourrait
modier le courant généré par le
stimulateur.
• Utiliser exclusivement les câbles
de stimulation, les batteries
rechargeables et le chargeur fournis
par CefarCompex.
• Toujours désactiver le stimulateur ou
s'assurer que l'intensité de chaque
Canal est réglée sur 0 avant de
déconnecter les câbles du stimulateur
ou des électrodes.
• Ne jamais connecter les câbles
de stimulation à une source
d'alimentation externe en raison des
risques d'électrocution.
• Ne pas utiliser le stimulateur
Rehab 400 ou le chargeur si l'un des
éléments est endommagé (boîtier,
câbles, etc.) ou si le compartiment
de la batterie est ouvert. Il existe un
risque d'électrocution.
• Débrancher immédiatement le
chargeur si votre stimulateur
Rehab 400 émet un bip continu, si vous
remarquez une chaleur ou une odeur
anormale ou si une fumée se dégage
du chargeur ou du stimulateur.
• Ne jamais recharger la batterie dans
un espace conné (étui de transport,
etc.) car cela pourrait provoquer un
incendie ou une électrocution.
• Tenir le stimulateur Rehab 400 et
ses accessoires hors de la portée des
enfants.

• Ne pas utiliser le stimulateur

machine.
• Faire preuve de prudence lors de
l'utilisation de l'électrothérapie pendant
que le patient est connecté à un
équipement de monitorage comportant
des électrodes appliquées sur le corps.

Précautions liées à l'utilisation des
électrodes :
• Utiliser uniquement les électrodes
fournies par CefarCompex. Les autres
électrodes peuvent posséder des
propriétés électriques incompatibles
avec le stimulateur Rehab 400.
• Placer les électrodes uniquement
sur une peau saine, jamais sur une
peau présentant des lésions de
quelque nature que ce soit (blessures,
inammations, brûlures, irritation,
eczéma, etc.).
• Toujours désactiver le stimulateur ou
s'assurer que l'intensité de chaque
Canal est réglée sur 0 avant de
déplacer ou de retirer les électrodes.
• Ne pas plonger les électrodes dans
l'eau.
• Ne pas appliquer de solvants quels
qu'ils soient sur les électrodes.
• Ne pas utiliser les électrodes sur
une surface < 18 cm2, car cela
provoquerait un risque de brûlure.
Toujours faire preuve d'une grande
prudence avec les densités de courant
> 2mA/cm2
• Pour un résultat optimal, nettoyer et
sécher la peau avant d'y appliquer les
électrodes.
• Appliquer les électrodes de manière
à ce que toute leur surface soit en
contact avec la peau.
• Pour des raisons d'hygiène, chaque
patient doit disposer de son propre
jeu d'électrodes. Ne jamais utiliser
les mêmes électrodes sur différents
patients.
• Certaines personnes dont la peau
est très sensible peuvent présenter
des rougeurs sous les électrodes
après une session. Cette rougeur est
généralement inoffensive et disparaît
habituellement après 10 à 20 minutes.
Ne pas débuter une nouvelle session
de stimulation dans la même région,
tant que la rougeur est visible.
• Lorsque les électrodes n'adhèrent
plus et ne sont pas parfaitement
appliquées sur la peau, la stimulation
peut sembler désagréable. Assurez-
vous que les électrodes sont en bon
état ; sinon, il faut les remplacer.

1 - Garantie
Cette garantie n'est valide que si elle est
accompagnée d'un justicatif d'achat.
Vos droits légaux ne sont pas affectés
par cette garantie.
Votre stimulateur CefarCompex
Rehab 400 est garanti pour une période
de 2 ans à compter de sa date d'achat.
La garantie couvre le stimulateur
(matériel et main d'oeuvre), mais pas
la batterie, les câbles ni le chargeur.
Tous les défauts résultant de matériels
ou de main d'oeuvre de mauvaise
qualité sont couverts. Cette garantie ne
couvre pas les préjudices résultant d'un
impact, d'un accident, d'une utilisation
impropre, d'une protection insufsante
contre l'humidité, d'une immersion dans
l'eau ou les réparations effectuées par
un personnel non autorisé.
2 - Entretien
• Nettoyer à l'aide d'un chiffon doux
et d'un détergent à base d'alcool et
sans solvant. Utiliser un minimum de
liquide pour nettoyer l'appareil.
• Ne pas démonter le stimulateur
ou le chargeur car ils contiennent
des composants à haute tension
qui pourraient provoquer une
électrocution. Cette opération doit
être conée à des techniciens ou des
services de réparation agréés par
CefarCompex.
• Votre stimulateur ne requiert aucun
étalonnage. Si votre stimulateur
contient des pièces qui semblent
usées ou défectueuses, veuillez
contacter le centre de service
clientèle CefarCompex le plus proche
pour une mise à niveau.
• Les professionnels de la médecine et
de la santé sont tenus d'entretenir
l'appareil en respectant les lois
et réglementations nationales en
vigueur. Cela implique de tester les
performances et les paramètres de
sécurité à intervalles réguliers.
3 - Conditions de stockage et
de transport
Le stimulateur CefarCompex Rehab 400
contient des batteries rechargeables, de
sorte que les conditions de stockage et
de transport ne doivent pas dépasser les
chiffres suivants :
• Température de stockage et de
transport : De -20°C à 45°C
• Humidité relative maximale : 75%
• Pression atmosphérique : 700 hPa à
1060 hPa
4 - Conditions d'utilisation
Température : De 0°C à 40°C
Humidité relative : De 30% à 75%
Pression atmosphérique : 700 hPa à
1060 hPa.
Ne pas utiliser dans une zone où existe
un risque d'explosion.
5 - Elimination
Les batteries doivent être mises au
rebut conformément aux exigences
réglementaires nationales en vigueur.
Tout produit portant la marque WEEE
(une poubelle barrée d'une croix) doit
être séparé des déchets ménagers et
envoyés à des installations de collecte
particulières à des ns de recyclage et
de récupération.

Le stimulateur CefarCompex Rehab 400
est conçu pour être utilisé par les
professionnels de la santé ; à ce titre, il
est conforme aux normes médicales et
aux exigences réglementaires en vigueur.
Pour assurer votre sécurité, le
stimulateur CefarCompex Rehab 400
a été conçu, fabriqué et distribué
conformément aux exigences de la
Directive Européenne 93/42/EEC relative
aux dispositifs médicaux.
Le stimulateur CefarCompex Rehab 400
est également conforme à la norme IEC
60601-1 relative aux exigences générales
de sécurité pour les dispositifs médicaux
électriques, à la norme IEC 60601-1-2
sur la compatibilité électromagnétique
et à la norme IEC 60601-2-10 sur les
exigences de sécurité particulières pour
les stimulateurs nerveux et musculaires.
Le stimulateur CefarCompex
Rehab 400 est également conforme
à la Directive 2002/96/EEC sur les
déchets d'équipements électriques et
électroniques (WEEE).
