Chandler & Me. Please read this manual carefully
to ensure safe and proper use and enjoyment.
Instructions for using your Candle Maker with the
32oz pitcher (supplied) in Small Batch Mode
Place the unit on a at, even surface such as a
kitchen counter and plug it in. To turn the unit on
simply place the pitcher onto the heating element,
all lights will ash briey and a short beep will be
heard. Buttons 1, 2, 3 will start ashing and the
machine is now ready for use.
1. Pour your pre-measured amount of
soy wax (up to 1 lb) into the pitcher and
press button to start the melting
process
2. When button is ashing pour your
pre-measured fragrance into the
pitcher and press this button to start the
stirring process
3. When button lights up it is time to lift
the pitcher and pour the wax carefully
into your candle jar
Before you pour: Prepare your jar by sticking the
wick rmly to the base being careful to ensure it is
centered. Use a wick holder to
help support your wick in the
centre, as per the diagram.
Pouring: Pour the melted wax
slowly but surely into the jar,
being careful to avoid the
wooden wick holder.
For the best results let your candle cool slowly
in an area of the house with a relatively stable
temperature.
Tip: If you have a marble or stone benchtop, place
the candle on a wooden board or towel and try
not to disturb the jar while the wax is setting.

Changing the mode. The Candle Maker + has
three pre-set modes that provide greater exibility
for batch size and higher heat and manual
controls.

Press button to start high heat mode
which will melt your wax to around 179F.
You can then remove the melted wax or
continue the stirring phase.
Best for: melting of beeswax to 179F. Can
be used with both the standard and large
pitchers.
High Heat Mode
Small Batch Mode
Large Batch Mode
Best for: making 4 - 5 medium size soy
candles at a time using the large pitcher up
to 32  oz. Tip! Always feed the wax akes in
as it melts to avoid overloading the stirrer.
Press button to start large batch mode.
Best for: making 1 to 2 medium size soy
candles at a time using the standard pitcher
up to 16  oz.
Press button to start.
Variable control mode. You can manually control
the phases of the unit to experiment with different
waxes and recipe’s. Press button to enter
variable control mode and while in this mode you
can press button at any time to fast forward
and button to rewind.

melting and mixing of ingredients supplied
by Chandler & Me and/or our authorised
distributors; any unintended use, including using
other ingredients, may damage the unit and will
void your warranty.
• The Candle Maker is designed for making soy
candles using pre-tested and pre-measured
ingredients packs available at
www.chandlerandme.com and authorised
waxes and fragrances available through our
distributors.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for any
defects, accidents or potential injury as a result
of misuse of this appliance.
• If this unit malfunctions please disconnect the
power immediately. Do not attempt to repair
the unit yourself. Please notify the distributor
immediately.
• The Candle Maker is recommended for ages
10 and up. Please supervise younger children
and anyone who may have reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they are
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• During use, do not touch the heating element or
the body of the pitcher. Both of which can reach
temperatures of over 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
• After use do not touch the heating element
surface as it is subject to residual heat.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
• Avoid spillage on the power plug socket.
Cleaning
• When cleaning the appliance, unplug the unit
from the mains power supply. Wipe the unit with
a damp cloth. Be careful as the heating element
may still be hot.
• DO NOT immerse the main unit into water,
doing so will damage the internal electrical
components and your warranty will be voided.
Immersing the unit in water while plugged in to
the mains may cause a severe electric shock!
• Clean the pitcher using hot soapy water.
• There may be some slight soy wax residue in the
pitcher, washing in hot soapy water will dissipate
the wax and the water can be ushed down the
sink. The soy wax is plant based and
eco-friendly.
Trouble Shooting
• If the pitcher is accidentally lifted from the
heating element part way through the process
simply place it back on the element. The unit will
reset back to stage one, press the ashing icon
again.
• If you walk away and attend to other tasks
around the home while making a candle don’t
worry, the unit will wait for you at whatever stage
it is up to. The unit will turn off after two hours if
a button has not been pressed or the pitcher
lifted.

This unit carries a 12-month warranty against
manufacturing defects. Should this unit malfunction
please contact your distributor immediately. The
unit is designed for use with approved ingredients
supplied exclusively by Chandler & Me and
our authorized distributors. You can purchase
ingredients from the Chandler & Me website or your
local distributor. Using other ingredients in your
Candle Maker, or using the unit for any purpose
other than authorized by Chandler & Me may void
your warranty.
