Line up 12 Popsicle sticks. Grab another Popsicle stick
and apply wood glue along the full length. Lay it glue
side down along the top of the 12 sticks. Repeat along
the bottom.
Place a small amount of glue on the bottom of two
Popsicle sticks. Glue both sticks to the outside of one of
your walls. Repeat on the opposite side. You may need
to add additional sticks to later to help support the roof.
Place glue along the side of one Popsicle stick. At an
angle, glue it to another stick, creating a “hinge”. Glue
one side of your roof to one side of the hinge. Glue the
Place small drops of glue on corners of the two “raised”
sticks. Place a Popsicle stick on top of the glue. Do the
same on the other side and continue layering until you
have at least ve layers.
Line up 12 Popsicle sticks. Apply glue along the length of
one Popsicle stick and lay (glue side down) along the top
of the 12 sticks. Repeat along the bottom. Repeat step 4
again so you have two identical roof pieces.
Place glue on the tips of each side wall. Gently lay roof on
top of each wall. Let dry. Paint, color or decorate the bird
house! Use glue to attach twine to the bird house. Let dry.
Fill bottom with bird seed. Use attached twine to hang
birdhouse in tree!
