material and workmans ip under normal use for a period of 12 mont s from date of s ipment.
C roma-Q will repair, or at its option, provide an equivalent item or replace, t e defective product during t e stated warranty
period. T is warranty applies only to t e repair or replacement of t e product and only w en t e product is properly andled,
installed and maintained according to C roma-Q instructions. T is warranty excludes defects resulting from improper andling,
storage, installation, acts of God, fire, vandalism or civil disturbances. Purc aser must notify C roma-Q in writing wit in 14 days

removed or w ic ave been damaged or rendered defective (a) as a result of normal wear and tear, willful or accidental damage,
negligence, misuse or abuse; (b) due to water or moisture, lig tning, windstorm, abnormal voltage, armonic distortion, dust, dirt,
corrosion or ot er external causes; (c) by operation outside t e specifications contained in t e user documentation; (d) by t e use
of spare parts not manufactured or sold by C roma-Q or by t e connection or integration of ot er equipment or software not
approved by C roma-Q unless t e Customer provides acceptable proof to C roma-Q t at t e defect or damage was not caused
by t e above; (e) by modification, repair or service by anyone ot er t an C roma-Q, w o as not applied for and been approved
by C roma-Q to do suc modification, repair or service unless t e Customer provides acceptable proof to C roma-Q t at t e
defect or damage was not caused by t e above; (f) due to procedures, deviating from procedures specified by C roma-Q or (g)
due to failure to store, install, test, commission, maintain, operate or use finis ed goods and spare parts in a safe and reasonable
manner and in accordance wit C roma-Q’s instructions ( ) by repair or replacement of engines wit out factory training.

1. Product overview
T e C roma-Q™ Studio Force™ w ite LED lig ting range as been extended wit new Studio Force Compact™ daylig t w ite and
variable w ite cost-effective, slim profile, work orse fixtures. Toget er wit t e existing lineup, t e Studio Force range now provides a
full c oice of creative lig ting tools.
Utilising core tec nology from t e w ite LED range, t e Compact is available in a c oice of 6,100K CCT, daylig t w ite (Studio Force D
Compact) and 3,000K – 6,100K CCT, variable w ite (Studio Force V Compact) models – t e latter featuring 3200°K and 5600°K
laboratory calibrated presets.
Bot Studio Force models utilise one lig t engine featuring 28 ig powered LEDs. T e D Compact features 28 cold w ite LEDs,
w ereas t e V Compact features 14 cold w ite and 14 warm w ite LEDs.
Wit an extreme output of 2,800 lumens (D Compact ) / 2,600 lumens (V Compact) – providing at least 50% more w ite lig t output
t an t eir Color Force RGBA colour variants – and at only 212mm / 8.4” in lengt , t e fixtures are ideal for evenly was ing large areas
wit a very small footprint.
Featuring a rugged external design and IP65 rated* casing, t e multi-purpose work orse fixtures are specifically designed for TV, film,
touring, ex ibitions, corporate events and t eatre lig ting applications - including uplig ting, pipe-end s in-busting, backlig ting, was
applications and truss warmers.
Up to five fixtures can be daisy-c ained from eac 15-way Compact PSU output, eliminating t e need to ome-run a cable from eac
fixture back to t e PSU. In addition, up to four fixtures per output can be daisy-c ained on a C roma-Q Color Block PSU (PSU-05B,
PSU530).
T e Studio Force Compact models enable an even wider range of users and budgets to utilise t e power of t e Studio Force as a
creative lig ting tool.
T e Studio Force range’s camera-friendly custom optical design provides a smoot , uniform output matc ed by t eatrical grade
dimming.
For real versatility and compatibility wit existing lig ting inventories, t e models are compatible wit City T eatrical top at, alf top at,
egg crate louver and barn door accessories. T e fixtures are supplied wit a older for t ese four optional accessories, as well as
interc angeable clear and frosted glass lig t lenses. An optional W-DMX wireless accessory for t e 15-way Compact PSU is also
available.
T e models can operate as a standalone unit or be remotely controlled t roug ANSI E1.11 USITT DMX 512-A protocol. T e control
options incorporate a c oice of multiple c annel intensity control, effects and a dynamic Variable Effects Engine integrated in t e
software, w ic gives t e user full control of t e effects combination.

15-way Power Supply Unit
T e Color Force Compact PSU15 is a 15-way Power Supply unit t at supplies power and data for a maximum total of 15 Color or
Studio Force Compact fixtures. T e PSU15 power supply unit features 3 XLR4 outputs and eac output wit a maximum capacity
for up to 5 fixtures daisy-c ained toget er. T e PSU15 power supply unit can be controlled remotely t roug an external DMX
control console via XLR 5-pin cable or wit t e wireless option.

T e Color Force Compact PSU-300 is a 5-way Power Supply unit t at supplies power and data to a maximum total of 5 Color or
Studio Force Compact fixtures. T e PSU-300 power supply unit features a single XLR4 output for a maximum capacity for up to 5
fixtures daisy-c ained toget er. T e PSU-300 power supply unit can be controlled remotely t roug an external DMX control
console via XLR 5-pin cable.
2. Operation
2.1 Unpacking the units
T e Studio Force Compact fixture package includes t e fixture, frosted glass lens, accessory plate, safety cable and t e Quick
Start Guide.
T e PSU15 package includes t e power supply unit, power cord, truss/rack mounting brackets (“Rack Ears”), screws and a Quick
Start Guide.
T e PSU-300 package includes t e power supply unit, power cord and a Quick Start Guide.
We recommend t at you keep t e original packaging in case t e item needs to be returned.
2.2 Cabling
T e Studio Force Compact utilises XLR4 connectors for power and data input and t roug . T e c assis are ground bonded.

2.3 Mounting
T e Studio Force Compact fixture is built wit a mounting yoke for floor, wall and truss mounting applications.
T e yoke features an added pair of oles for eig t adjustment. T e fixture enclosure mounted on t e top oles of t e yoke
allows t e fixture to face upwards and perpendicular. T e fixture mounted on t e bottom oles of t e yoke allows t e fixture to
face upwards only.

T e PSU-300 as a unique Magic Box interlocking enclosure w ic facilitates easy rack mounting w en used in pairs and easy
truss mounting via captive nut insert.
For truss mounting, we recommend t e use of a ½”-13UNC x ¾” long bolt to avoid damage.
Rack mounting brackets are available in single unit and dual unit versions.

An optional frosted or clear glass lens is included in t e package to adjust t e lig t output of t e Compact fixtures. An accessory
