Chroma-Q warrants to the or g nal purchaser, w th proof of purchase, that ts del vered products shall be free from defects n
mater al and workmansh p under normal use for a per od of 12 months from date of sh pment.
Chroma-Q w ll repa r, or at ts opt on, prov de an equ valent tem or replace, the defect ve product dur ng the stated warranty
per od. Th s warranty appl es only to the repa r or replacement of the product and only when the product s properly handled,
nstalled and ma nta ned accord ng to Chroma-Q nstruct ons. Th s warranty excludes defects result ng from mproper handl ng,
storage, nstallat on, acts of God, f re, vandal sm or c v l d sturbances. Purchaser must not fy Chroma-Q n wr t ng w th n 14 days
of not c ng the defect. Th s warranty excludes f eld labour or serv ce charges related to the repa r or replacement of the product.
The warranty conta ned here n shall not extend to any f n shed goods or spare parts from wh ch any ser al number has been
removed or wh ch have been damaged or rendered defect ve (a) as a result of normal wear and tear, w lful or acc dental damage,
negl gence, m suse or abuse; (b) due to water or mo sture, l ghtn ng, w ndstorm, abnormal voltage, harmon c d stort on, dust, d rt,
corros on or other external causes; (c) by operat on outs de the spec f cat ons conta ned n the user documentat on; (d) by the use
of spare parts not manufactured or sold by Chroma-Q or by the connect on or ntegrat on of other equ pment or software not
approved by Chroma-Q unless the Customer prov des acceptable proof to Chroma-Q that the defect or damage was not caused
by the above; (e) by mod f cat on, repa r or serv ce by anyone other than Chroma-Q, who has not appl ed for and been approved
by Chroma-Q to do such mod f cat on, repa r or serv ce unless the Customer prov des acceptable proof to Chroma-Q that the
defect or damage was not caused by the above; (f) due to procedures, dev at ng from procedures spec f ed by Chroma-Q or (g)
due to fa lure to store, nstall, test, comm ss on, ma nta n, operate or use f n shed goods and spare parts n a safe and reasonable
manner and n accordance w th Chroma-Q’s nstruct ons (h) by repa r or replacement of eng nes w thout factory tra n ng.
The warranty conta ned here n shall not apply to f n shed goods or spare parts wh ch are sold “as s”, as “second-hand”, as
used”, as “demo” or under s m lar qual f cat ons or to Consumables (“Consumables” s def ned as any part(s) of goods or part(s)
for use w th goods, wh ch part(s) of goods or part(s) for use w th goods are consumed dur ng the operat on of the goods and
wh ch part(s) of goods or part(s) for use w th goods requ re replacement from t me to t me by a user such as, but not l m ted to,

Product overview
The Chroma-Q
®
Color Force Compact™ s a powerful creat ve l ght ng tool that works n perfect harmony w th the popular Color
Force™ range. The Compact s a cost-effect ve workhorse, deal for a w de range of appl cat ons. Ut l s ng core LED technology
from the Color Force range, the f xture prov des 1700 lumens n a cost-effect ve, sl m, compact prof le.
W th ts rugged external des gn, and IP65 rated* cas ng the Color Force Compact has been des gned as a mult -purpose
workhorse f xture su table for numerous enterta nment l ght ng appl cat ons - nclud ng upl ght ng, p pe-end sh n-bust ng,
backl ght ng, wash appl cat ons and truss warmers.
The Color Force Compact uses ts huge RGBA colour m x ng palette to del ver a full range of h gh br ghtness colours across the
spectrum. Deep cold blues, red hot lava looks and super soft pastels are all ava lable from a s ngle f xture.
The Chroma-Q RGBA eng ne has been developed to del ver an ncred ble CRI of 92, for true colour balance across the spectrum.
For real versat l ty and compat b l ty w th ex st ng l ght ng nventor es, the Color Force Compact s compat ble w th ndustry
standard top hat, half top hat, egg crate louver and barn door accessor es. Other opt onal accessor es ava lable nclude clear
glass and frosted glass l ght lens and a W-DMX w reless opt on.
Complement ng other models n the range, the Color Force l ne up now prov des a full cho ce of creat ve tools for almost any
enterta nment appl cat on.
Compat b l ty w th ndustry standard control consoles s assured. HSI, FxHSI, RGB (*Mag c Amber), RGBA, RGBI (Mag c Amber),
Look Select, Master and Slave Standalone control modes are ava lable v a an external 15-way Power Supply un t, 5-way Power
Supply un t and the Color Block Power Supply un ts.

The Color Force Compact PSU15 suppl es power and data to a max mum total of 15 Color or Stud o Force Compact f xtures. The
PSU15 features 3 XLR4 outputs and each output w th a max mum capac ty of up to 5 f xtures da sy-cha ned together. The PSU15
can be controlled remotely through an external DMX control console v a XLR 5-p n cable or w th the w reless opt on.

The PSU 5 Way for Compact suppl es power and data to a max mum total of 5 Color or Stud o Force Compact f xtures. The PSU-
300 features a s ngle XLR4 output for a max mum capac ty of up to 5 f xtures da sy-cha ned together. The PSU-300 can be
controlled remotely through an external DMX control console v a XLR 5-p n cable or w th the w reless opt on. (Note: The PSU-300
can supply power and data to a max mum of 5 Color Block 1 or 2 f xtures.)

Operation
2.1 Unpacking the units
The Color Force Compact f xture package ncludes the f xture, frosted or clear glass lens, accessory plate, safety cable and the
Qu ck Start Gu de.
The PSU15 package ncludes the power supply un t, power cord, truss/rack mount ng brackets (Rack Ears), screws and a Qu ck
Start Gu de.
The PSU-300 package ncludes the power supply un t, power cord and a Qu ck Start Gu de.
We recommend that you keep the or g nal packag ng n case the tem needs to be returned.

Mounting
The Color Force Compact f xture s bu lt w th a mount ng yoke for floor, wall and truss mount ng appl cat ons.
The yoke features an added pa r of holes for he ght adjustment. The f xture enclosure mounted on the top holes of the yoke
allows the f xture to face upwards and perpend cular. The f xture mounted on the bottom holes of the yoke allows the f xture to
face upwards only.
Note: Secure the f xture w th a safety bond. A prov s on for a f x ng hold s bu lt nto the enclosure.

The PSU15 can be rack-mounted or hung from a truss w th a pa r of “Rack Ears” brackets fastened w th 3 x M5 FH/CS screws
onto each s de or on the top of each s de.
The PSU-300 has a un que Mag c Box nterlock ng enclosure wh ch fac l tates easy rack mount ng when used n pa rs and easy
truss mount ng v a capt ve nut nsert.
For truss mount ng, we recommend the use of a ½”-13UNC x ¾” long bolt to avo d damage.

An opt onal frosted or clear glass lens s ncluded n the package to adjust the l ght output of the Compact f xtures. An accessory

To set control menu opt ons:
1. From the Ma n Menu, press the Up or Down buttons to scroll through the control menu opt ons
2. Press Enter to select a control menu opt on
3. Press the Up or Down buttons to scroll through the sett ng opt ons
4. Press Enter to select and save the sett ng, or press Ex t to return to the prev ous menu w thout sav ng.
The d splay goes back to the Ma n Menu.

To set the DMX start address,
1. From the Ma n Menu, press Enter
2. Press the Up or Down buttons to adjust the DMX start address
3. Press Enter for 2 seconds to save and the d splay goes back to the Ma n Menu.

In Control Mode, scroll through and select from the opt ons ava lable then save.
