The following WARNING symbols are used to illustrate the degree of danger or damage/
injury.
Symbols and their meanings
DANGER — Possibility of serious injury or death.
WARNING — Possibility of damage or injury.
Damage is intended as that caused to furniture while injury refers to
persons and animals in general.
Examples of symbols
The triangular symbol indicates a “Warning”. The warning is explained by
means of a written explanation or images inside or near to the symbol. In
this specic case, the symbol on the left indicates "Danger of electrocution”.
The circle with diagonal line indicates a "Prohibition" or "No" sign. The
warning is explained by means of a written explanation or images inside
or near to the symbol. In this specic case, the symbol on the left indicates
"Do not dismantle the product”.
This symbol signies “Requirements that must be respected”. The
warning is explained by means of a written explanation
or images inside or near to the symbol.
In this specic case the symbol indicates “General requirements”.
