INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE product. Before assembling the log
cart, be sure to read these instructions thoroughly. In doing so you will ensure
the safety of yourself and of others around you, and you can look forward to
the product giving you long and satisfactory service.
GUARANTEE
This CLARKE product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of
12 months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt as proof of
purchase.
This guarantee is invalid if the product is found to have been abused or
tampered with in any way, or not used for its intended purpose.
Faulty goods should be returned to their place of purchase, no product can
be returned to us without prior permission.
This guarantee does not effect your statutory rights.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Do not exceed the capacity of the cart. MAXIMUM TOTAL load 100 kg.
2. Load the cart evenly with the centre of gravity of the load over the
centre of the cart.
3. Do not bounce the cart over rough ground, or down curbs etc. Use ramps
wherever possible.
4. Take extra care if transporting a wide load.
5. Always ensure the load is stable before attempting to move the cart.
6. Never carry out any alterations or modifications to this product.
7. NEVER allow people to ride on the cart.
8. Take care that the heaviest part of a tall load is at the bottom of the cart.
When stacking loads, ensure that the height of the stack does not extend
above the handle.
9. Do not park the cart in a location likely to cause a hazard to other people
or traffic.
10. DO NOT park on an incline without first securely chocking the wheels.
Please keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.

UNPACKING
Before assembling, please check contents against the following list and
advise your dealer immediately if any parts are missing.
Handle Section, 2 x Support Sections,
Log Retainer Section, 2 x Wheels,
Axle, 4 x split pins,
2 x Washers, 4 x bolts/nuts
ASSEMBLY
1. Assemble the frame by bolting the
four sections together as shown in
Fig 1. Always assemble with the
heads of the bolts on the outside
face of the cart.
Note that the longer (handle)
section is fitted closest to the axle
support tubes.
2. Insert the axle into the axle
support tubes and secure with two
split pins as shown in Fig 2.
3. Fit the wheels to each end of the
axle and secure with the washers
and split pins as shown in Fig 3.
USING THE LOG CART
Always follow the safety precautions
and ensure that the load does not
exceed the maximum working load
of 100kg.
Always ensure the tyres are inflated to
the correct pressure of 30 psi before
use.
Cover the load for added stability
with the cover provided.
