• Make sure that themains lead does not come in contact with
hot surfaces such as cooker hobs.
• To reduce therisk of electric shock, never immerse thekettle,
base, mains lead or plug in water or other liquid.
• Any children present when thekettle is in use must be closely
supervised.
• Certain parts of thekettle become hot during use, only grip
thekettle by its handle.
• Never use thekettle if it is damaged or not working properly.
• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Never use
thekettle if themains lead or plug is damaged.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, authorised service facility or
aqualified tradesman.
• Thekettle is designed for indoor use only.
• Thekettle must only be used as described in this instruction
manual.
• Only operate thekettle using thesupplied base.
• Do not overfill thekettle by exceeding theMAX level on
thewater level window. If thekettle is overfilled, boiling water
may splash out.
• Note: Ensure that thekettle is placed on afirm, flat surface
before it is switched on.
• Note: Ensure that themains lead, plug, theelectrical
connections on thebase and thekettle are clean, dry and
intact before switching thekettle on.
• Note: Make sure that thefilter is correctly fitted and that
thelid is closed properly before switching thekettle on. If
thefilter is not fitted correctly or thelid is not closed properly,
thekettle will not switch off and there is arisk of boiling hot
water splashing out.
