• Never immerse thelead, plug, bottom plate or kettle in water
or other liquid. Doingso may increase therisk for electric shock.
• Children who are close by when thekettle is used must be
supervised at all times.
• Certain parts of thekettle become hot during use, only touch
thehandle.
• Never use thekettle if it is damaged or does not work normally.
• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Neveruse thekettle
if themains lead or plug is damaged.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, authorised service facility or
aqualified tradesman.
• Thekettle is designed for indoor use only.
• Thekettle should only be used as described in this instruction
manual.
• Thekettle may only be used with thesupplied bottom plate.
• When filling with water, do not exceed themaximum mark.
Ifmore water is filled, hot water may be expelled when heating.
• Note: Makesure that thekettle is on astable, flat surface
before it is turned on.
• Note: Makesure that themains lead, plug and theelectrical
connectors on thebottom plate and thekettle are clean,
intact and dry before thekettle is turned on.
• Note: Neverfill thekettle with water when it is positioned
on thebottom plate. Liftthejug and fill carefully with water.
Makesure that thebottom plate and thekettle’s housing are
both completely dry before thekettle is placed on thebottom
plate and is turned on.
• Never fill with water when thekettle is switched on.
• Never use thekettle near anopen fire or hot surfaces.
• Clean thekettle with alightly moistened cloth. Neveruse
solvents or corrosive cleaning products. Useamild cleaning
agent.
