Connecting anexternal device
Connecting via Bluetooth
1. Switch thespeaker on and hold [SOURCE/PAIR] (9) in for 4–5 seconds.
2. TheBluetooth indicator (1) will begin flashing quickly which indicates that thespeaker is ready to
be paired with other Bluetooth devices.
3. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice to be paired with thespeaker.
4. Thespeaker will appear on your device as "Speaker Clas Ohlson Ltd Ed", select it and pair it with
your device. Once contact has been established, theBluetooth indicator will shine steadily.
Note: If theexternal Bluetooth device prompts you for apassword, enter thecode 0000.
5. If you wish to make thespeaker detectable for other Bluetooth devices, e.g. to pair another device:
a) Turn off Bluetooth on thelast connected device.
b) Activate Bluetooth on thenew device to be paired.
c) Hold [SOURCE/PAIR] (9) in for 4–5 seconds.
d) TheBluetooth indicator will begin flashing quickly, meaning that thespeaker is detectable for
other Bluetooth devices again.
Connecting via theAUX IN
1. Connect theAUX-in socket (4) to theaudio output of theexternal device using anaudio cable.
2. Switch thespeaker on and quick-press [SOURCE/PAIR]. TheAUX-in indicator LED (2) will shine steadily.
3. Start playback on theexternal device.
Playback
1. Connect anexternal audio source either via Bluetooth or theAUX-in socket.
2. Start playback on your external Bluetooth device.
3. Adjust themaster volume (5) on thespeaker and thevolume on theexternal device. In order to
be able to play loud music on thespeaker, theinput volume needs to be high. Thevolume on
theexternal device should therefore be set to its maximum level.
4. Press [/►II ] (10) to pause playback, press it again to resume playback.
5. Press [I◄◄/►►I ] (8) to skip to thenext track.
6. Hold [I◄◄/►►I ] in for 2–3 seconds to return to theprevious track.
Note: If you have connected amobile phone to thespeaker via Bluetooth and receive acall whilst
you are listening to music, themusic will be switched off automatically. Once thecall has been ended,
music playback will be resumed (if your phone seings enable this).
Care and maintenance
• Clean thespeaker using alightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or
corrosive chemicals.
• Always unplug thespeaker and store it in adry, dust-free environment out of children’s reach
whenever it is not to be used for anextended period.
• If thespeaker is le unused for over 2 months thebaery should be recharged in order to retain
full capacity.
