3.1. Unpacking the CA Chemical 2F/3F
Check whether the consignment is complete and if no-
thing has been damaged during transport.

1. Connect the air supply hose to the powered re-
spiratory unit making sure the screw is tight enough
so the joint is leakproof.

CA CHEMICAL 3F Plus
The unit can be switched on by pressing any of the two
controllingpush-buttonsshortly.Individualowlevels
can be changed by shortly pressing buttons and .
Instantly after switching the unit on you can see infor-
mation about the supplier of your powered respiratory
uniton the display; during the second visualdisplay,
you can go over to the MENU by pressing both buttons
at the sane time for 2 seconds; last the information
display will visualize giving you the following informa-
tion: the actual ow level, the present state of lter
cloggingandofbaterrycharging.Forbetterorientation,
these specications are distinguished by correspon-
dent pictograms.
The Flow Control System keeps the air-ow steady
irrespectiveoftheltercloggingorthedegreeofba-
ttery charging.
Ifitisimpossibletokeepthechosenair-ow,youwill
hear an acoustic signal. If it is possible, the electro-
nicswill automatically decrease theair-owby one
level. If the unit is unable to keep the lowest practicable
air-ow, youwill be warnedbyalarm andthereason
for this alarm as well as the instructons for needful
intervention into the unit will appear on the display.
