Step 3:Use scissors to snip orange
pull cord.
Step 1:Measure cable to YOURx
length (14 inches) and mark outer
cable sheath.

Step 4:Pull orange pull cord to split
outer cable sheath and expose 3mm
breakout.

Step 2:Use rotary cutter to cut outer
cable sheath and expose orange pull
cord.
Step 5:Snip strength member strands
and save for later use.

Step 6:Pull aside the kevlar strands.

Step 7: Slide smallest, 5/16” x 3” long
(004458) section of heat shrink over
breakout and onto jacketed ber for
later use.

Step 8:Slide medium, 1/2” x 2 1/4”
long (004644) length of heat shrink
over breakout and onto jacketed ber
for later use.

Step 9:Bend one of the strength
member strands to form a sh-eye
loop.
