IMPORTANT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The dual columns on Clinton Power Series, Bariatric, Blood Drawing Chairs are designed to
self-adjust to level the load. It is important to return the chair to its lowest position after
each use to reset the relationship between the columns. Failure to do so could result in the chair
being unresponsive to a lift command. If this happens, lower the chair to its lowest position to reset
the column relationship.
For optimum performance and patient safety, all Clinton Power
Series, Bariatric, Blood Drawing Chairs should be on a clean,
level non-slip surface. Once the chair is in the desired location,
level it by adjusting the four leveling feet on the base. Turn the
feet counter clockwise to decrease the height and clockwise to
increase the height of the leg. Make certain that the chair is level
in all directions and that it does not wobble or rock.

PROBLEM: Chair stopped, won't respond to controller.
SOLUTION: Reset the lift power sources.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
a.) Locate Reset button, usually in the left front of
the chair underneath the seat, See reset button
photo.
b.) Push and hold the reset button, you will hear a
fast pace beeping.
c.) When the pace of the beeping slows down,
release the reset button.
d.) Alternate pressing the PLUS and MINUS
buttons, on the foot control, for about
1 second each. This will drive each column
down individually, so as to not bind the chair/
columns. When the columns are all the way
down the beeping will stop. See controller
photo.

UPHOLSTERY
Clinton uses only premium vinyl for upholstery, however, care should be taken when cleaning to ensure that the

recommends using a 1 to 1 mix of ammonia and water or a 1 to 4 mix of bleach and water. Rinse thoroughly
with clean water and pat surface dry. This is not a guarantee and does not relieve the user from responsibility of
the proper and safe use of all cleaning agents. Test on inconspicuous area prior to using any cleaning agent on
upholstery's visible surface. Certain cleaning agents can be harmful to the surface.
WARNING: Always clean surfaces that come in contact with pathogens or infectious materials
according to standard procedures of your particular healthcare or therapy facility. Although Clinton
recommends a cleaning solution it is not a guarantee that it will meet with your facility’s standards
or state, federal and local standards for treatment and cleaning of areas and equipment that may be
