EXP 40 Sidecar Features
• The EXP 40 Sidecar is designed to improve the functional capability of the Commander T46G IP Phone
• It features a large graphic LCD screen
• 2 pages of 20 programmable keys each (total 40), which can be programmed as various features, which
include Busy Lamp Field, Speed Dialling, Conference, Transfer
• Programmable keys, with a dual-colour LED display indicating line appearance such as Green = available
or Red = line busy
• The Commander EXP40 is ideal for receptionists, administrative assistants, call centre agents,
power-users, and executives who need to monitor and manage a large volume of calls on a regular basis.
• Up to six expansion modules can be daisy-chained to a single T46G IP phone
Basic Configurations
The EXP40 supports 40 programmable keys in two separate screen pages. Each page displays 20 keys.
To assign a Feature to a DDS Key via the phone interface:
• Press or to switch between the two pages and use your desired programmable key.
• Press the desired DSS key for about 5 seconds, the phone LCD screen will prompt the settings of this
key.
Programmable Features and Speed Dials can also be configured via an online interface

Each button corresponds to one line
Button can be set as Speed Dials or Extra Lines
Switch Buttons
Each button corresponds to one page of 20 line keys
Giving you a total of 40 extra lines or speed dials
