NOTICES
This manual is an integral part of the product and shall be kept by the user. Read the warnings contained in the manual carefully, since they provide important information about safe installation, use and main-
tenance. Installation and maintenance shall be performed in accordance with the relevant regulations and the manufacturer's instructions. In case of failure and/or malfunctioning of the appliance, do not
attempt any repair or direct servicing. Always contact qualified personnel, as provided by law. Only qualified technicians are allowed to carry out any repair operation. Failure to comply with the provisions
listed above may compromise the safety of the appliance.
OPERATION
DIAMIX PR and COMPAMIX PR motorised electronic mixing valves are used in modern heating and/or cooling systems equipped with floor, wall or ceiling radiating panels for the control of the delivery
temperature and the dehumidification system: by exploiting the new functionalities they are able to keep under control the relative humidity inside the house and guarantee the maximum efficiency and the
maximum environmental comfort. Their design fits multiple installation applications: once installed in the system, it is possible to select the type of operation of the motorised valve, enabling or disabling
the various functions.
•
•
Fixed-point heating regulation
Outlet temperatures for winter heating is set by means of the actuator keyboard and display. When the room thermostat activates the motorized valve, it acts in order to maintain the outlet temperature constant
with an accuracy of +/-1°C.
Heating system with climatic function
The software automatically calculates the flow temperature to the heating “Tset_point” according to the external temperature detected by the relevant sensor (optional, code RFSONDAT) following programmable
climatic curves.
Tset_point = - (T_est * h1) + h2 where:
T_est = temperature measured by the external sensor.
h1 = angular coefficient of the adjustable curve between 0.1 and 1.0.
h2 = temperature constant adjustable between +30°C and +40°C.

OUTLET TEMPERATURE Tsetclim [°C]
EXTERNAL TEMPERATURE Test [°C]
Example with h1 = 0,5
During winter heating, the Tset_point value is bound to a temperature range of [+25°C; +45°C].
Note: the system reads the external temperature every 30 minutes.
•Fixed-point cooling regulation
The outlet temperature for summer cooling is set by means of the actuator keyboard and display. When the room thermostat activates the motorized valve, it acts in order to maintain the outlet temperature
constant with an accuracy of +/-1°C. If the relative humidity and ambient temperature sensor (optional, code RFTRUEE10) is connected, if the difference between the calculated dew-point temperature and the
delivery temperature to the system is lower than the set reference value “CF2”, the motorised valve activates a special alarm by closing a digital contact and displaying a signal (ALc). Moreover, the relative
humidity value is constantly monitored and compared to a programmable reference value “CF1”: if the threshold value is exceeded, the motorised valve activates a special alarm by closing a digital contact and
sending a signal to the display (ALur).
CAUTION: this configuration requires a relative humidity adjustment system in the air-conditioned rooms independent of the mixing valve.
Electrical hazard! The unit contains high-voltage equipments.
Scalding hazard! Even in normal operation conditions, the unit can reach very high temperatures which may cause scalds.

REMOTE MANAGEMENT
DIAMIX PR and COMPAMIX PR are equipped with a MODBUS RTU interface; using the RS485 serial connection, it is possible to modify all the operating parameters, send commands to the valve, receive in-
formation on the operating status and perform diagnostics.
The DIAMIX PR / COMPAMIX PR mixing valves can be connected to the modern Building Management Systems (BMS).
TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE ACTUATOR
•
•
Tracking cooling adjustment
The delivery temperature Tset_point for cooling is automatically calculated by the software as a function of the dew point temperature. The dew point temperature is calculated by means of the relative humidity
and ambient temperature sensor (optional cod. RFTRUEE10).
T_setpoint = Trugiada + CI3 where:
Trujade = Dew temperature calculated from relative humidity and ambient temperature.
CI3 = temperature constant adjustable between -3°C and +3°C.
The function also regulates the relative humidity in the environment: the dehumidifier can be activated by means of a digital output when the relative humidity falls below the “CI1” threshold. Thanks to the special
digital output it is possible to activate the integration mode of the dehumidifier: When the ambient temperature exceeds the value “CI2”, the contact is closed so that the dehumidifier injects dry air into the house
at a temperature lower than the ambient temperature.
Electronic security:
It is possible to set two limit temperature for the fluid: one for winter heating and one for summer cooling.
P3 = heating mode max temperature, adjustable between 50°C and 60°C
P4 = cooling mode min temperature, adjustable between 5°C and 13°C
When these values are exceeded, the mixing valve enters the “safety” mode: it stops the pump and connects the common (mixed) way to the system return and then blocks any active function.
The display alternatively shows the "ALt" notice and the real-time temperature detected by the outlet sensor.
The system resumes normal operation only when the temperature is back within the normal operation range.
