Le fer à défriser ne demande pratiquement
aucun entretien et n’a pas à être lubrifié. Gar-
dez les évents et les ouvertures propres et
libres. Pour le nettoyer, débranchez-le de la
prise de courant et essuyez-en la surface avec
un linge. Dans le cas d’un fonctionnement
anormal, débranchez-le, laissez-le refroidir et
présentez-le à un service après-vente agréé.
Le consommateur ne devrait jamais tenter de
le réparer lui-même.
MISE EN GARDE
Ne tirez ni ne tortillez JAMAIS le cordon, Ne
l’enroulez pas autour du fer. Vous risquez de
l’endommager au point de flexion à l’entrée
dans le fer, ce qui pourrait causer un bris et
un court-circuit. Vérifiez régulièrement l’état
du cordon. Si vous décelez des dommages
évidents ou si le fer cesse de fonctionner ou
fonctionne par intermittence, cessez d’utiliser
le fer immédiatement.
RANEMENT
Quand vous ne l’utilisez pas, débranchez le fer
et rangez-le en lieu sûr et sec, hors de la por-
tée des enfants. Ne tirez ni ne saccadez le

USER MAINTENANCE
Your straightening iron is virtually maintenance-
free. No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents
and openings clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the unit from
the power source, allow to cool and wipe ex-
terior with a cloth. If any abnormal condition
occurs, unplug the unit, allow it to cool, and
return it for repair to an authorized service
representative only. No repairs should be at-
tempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled,
twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord
tightly around the appliance. Damage will oc-
cur at the high flex point of entry into the ap-
pliance, causing it to rupture and short. Inspect
the cord frequently for damage. Stop use im-
mediately if damage is visible or if unit stops
or operates intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to
store. Allow appliance to cool, then store out
of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Do
not jerk or strain cord at plug connections.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This straightening iron is intended for house-
hold use. This unit is designed to operate at
125 volts AC. Use on Alternating Current
(60 hertz) only.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
STRAIGHTENING BASICS
Plug the straightening iron cord into any house-
hold outlet (125V). Press ON button. Red and
green lights will blink alternately. When ready
to use, green light will remain on and red light
will turn off. The iron will heat up very quickly.
To turn off, press OFF button. Green light will
go off. Red light will remain on as a safety
precaution to indicate the iron is still plugged
in. Never leave your straightening iron on and
unattended. However, should you fail to turn the
unit off, it will shut itself off automatically
within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The straightening iron’s ceramic-
coated plates will get very hot within a few
seconds and should not be placed in contact
with the skin after the straightening iron has
been turned on.
Start with a hair section that is 2" wide and no
more than 1/2" thick. Open the iron and place
a hair section between the two hot plates, close
to the scalp. Close plates over hair by firmly
squeezing the handles together. While
maintaining the tension, slowly pull the unit
down along the hair section toward the end of
hair. At the end of hair section, release the
pressure on the handle and allow the hair to
slide out. Repeat process on additional sections
of hair until you achieve the hair style you desire.
It may be necessary to repeat process on certain
areas, depending on the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this straightening iron. After using the
iron several times, you will learn the ideal way
to straighten and style your hair easily.
NOTE: Please refer to the temperature setting
guide for heat settings.

shiny finish. Hair also slips right through the
plates after it’s straightened.

Uniform Heat Recovery System to maintain the
straightening iron at a constant temperature.
A constant surge of power ensures that heat is

unlike other units that lose heat during use. It

USING INSTANT HEAT, THE 30

CONSERVEZ CES DIRECTIVES

Le fer à défriser ne convient qu’à l’usage ménager.
Il peut être branché à un secteur de 125 volts
CA de 60Hz.
Cet appareil est muni d’une fiche polarisée (une
lame est plus large que l’autre). Pour raisons de
sécurité, cette fiche ne se branche que d’une
seule façon dans une prise. Si elle ne convient
pas, inversez-la. Si elle ne convient toujours
pas, consultez un électricien. Ne contrez pas
cette mesure de sécurité.
ÉLÉMENTS DU DÉFRISAGE
Branchez le fer à défriser dans une prise de
courant ordinaire (125 V). Appuyez sur ON. Les
indicateurs rouge et vert clignoteront tour à tour.
Quand le fer est prêt, l'indicateur vert reste allumé
et l'indicateur rouge s'éteint. Le fer chauffe très
vite. Pour l'éteindre, appuyez sur OFF. L'indicateur
vert s'éteint et l'indicateur rouge reste allumé
par sécurité, indiquant que le fer est toujours
branché. Ne laissez jamais le fer allumé sans
surveillance. Toutefois, si vous oubliez de
l'éteindre, il s'éteindra automatiquement dans
les 60 minutes.
AVERTISSEMENT : Les plaques enduites de
céramique du fer à défriser deviennent très
chaudes en quelques secondes. Ne touchez
pas la peau avec les plaques une fois que le
fer à défriser est allumé.
Commencez avec une mèche large de 51 mm
(2 po) et pas plus épaisse que 12 mm (1/2 po).
Ouvrez le fer et placez les cheveux entre les
plaques chaudes, près du cuir chevelu. Refermez
les plaques en pressant la poignée fermement.
Tout en maintenant la tension, faites glisser le
fer lentement vers la pointe des cheveux. Une
fois le fer à la pointe des cheveux, relâchez la
pression et laissez les cheveux sortir. Répétez
pour les autres sections jusqu’à ce que vous
obteniez le style désiré. Vous devrez peut-être
répéter le processus à certains endroits,
dépendamment de la texture et de l’humidité
des cheveux.
Maîtriser l'utilisation du fer à défriser demande
un peu de pratique. Vous saurez vite, après
quelques utilisations, la meilleure façon de
défriser et de coiffer vos cheveux sans
difficulté.

USER MAINTENANCE
Your straightening iron is virtually maintenance-
free. No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents
and openings clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the unit from
the power source, allow to cool and wipe ex-
terior with a cloth. If any abnormal condition
occurs, unplug the unit, allow it to cool, and
return it for repair to an authorized service
representative only. No repairs should be at-
tempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled,
twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord
tightly around the appliance. Damage will oc-
cur at the high flex point of entry into the ap-
pliance, causing it to rupture and short. Inspect
the cord frequently for damage. Stop use im-
mediately if damage is visible or if unit stops
or operates intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to
store. Allow appliance to cool, then store out
of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Do
not jerk or strain cord at plug connections.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This straightening iron is intended for house-
hold use. This unit is designed to operate at
125 volts AC. Use on Alternating Current
(60 hertz) only.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
STRAIGHTENING BASICS
Plug the straightening iron cord into any house-
hold outlet (125V). Press ON button. Red and
green lights will blink alternately. When ready
to use, green light will remain on and red light
will turn off. The iron will heat up very quickly.
To turn off, press OFF button. Green light will
go off. Red light will remain on as a safety
precaution to indicate the iron is still plugged
in. Never leave your straightening iron on and
unattended. However, should you fail to turn the
unit off, it will shut itself off automatically
within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The straightening iron’s ceramic-
coated plates will get very hot within a few
seconds and should not be placed in contact
with the skin after the straightening iron has
been turned on.
Start with a hair section that is 2" wide and no
more than 1/2" thick. Open the iron and place
a hair section between the two hot plates, close
to the scalp. Close plates over hair by firmly
squeezing the handles together. While
maintaining the tension, slowly pull the unit
down along the hair section toward the end of
hair. At the end of hair section, release the
pressure on the handle and allow the hair to
slide out. Repeat process on additional sections
of hair until you achieve the hair style you desire.
It may be necessary to repeat process on certain
areas, depending on the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this straightening iron. After using the
iron several times, you will learn the ideal way
to straighten and style your hair easily.
NOTE: Please refer to the temperature setting
guide for heat settings.

The plates of your new straightening iron have
an easy-glide ceramic surface, the latest in

styling products residue, etc. off the plates

plates after it’s straightened.

les yeux ou la peau nue.
13. Ne placez pas l’appareil chauffé

cordon alors qu’il est encore chaud ou

14. Ne touchez pas les surfaces chaudes de

CONSERVEZ CES DIRECTIVES

D’UTILISATION
Le fer à défriser ne convient qu’à l’usage ménager.
Il peut être branché à un secteur de 125 volts
CA de 60Hz.
Cet appareil est muni d’une fiche polarisée (une
lame est plus large que l’autre). Pour raisons de
sécurité, cette fiche ne se branche que d’une
seule façon dans une prise. Si elle ne convient
pas, inversez-la. Si elle ne convient toujours
pas, consultez un électricien. Ne contrez pas
cette mesure de sécurité.
ÉLÉMENTS DU DÉFRISAGE
Branchez le fer à défriser dans une prise de
courant ordinaire (125 V). Appuyez sur ON. Les
indicateurs rouge et vert clignoteront tour à tour.
Quand le fer est prêt, l'indicateur vert reste allumé
et l'indicateur rouge s'éteint. Le fer chauffe très
vite. Pour l'éteindre, appuyez sur OFF. L'indicateur
vert s'éteint et l'indicateur rouge reste allumé
par sécurité, indiquant que le fer est toujours
branché. Ne laissez jamais le fer allumé sans
surveillance. Toutefois, si vous oubliez de
l'éteindre, il s'éteindra automatiquement dans
les 60 minutes.
AVERTISSEMENT : Les plaques enduites de
céramique du fer à défriser deviennent très
chaudes en quelques secondes. Ne touchez
pas la peau avec les plaques une fois que le
fer à défriser est allumé.
Commencez avec une mèche large de 51 mm
(2 po) et pas plus épaisse que 12 mm (1/2 po).
Ouvrez le fer et placez les cheveux entre les
plaques chaudes, près du cuir chevelu. Refermez
les plaques en pressant la poignée fermement.
Tout en maintenant la tension, faites glisser le
fer lentement vers la pointe des cheveux. Une
fois le fer à la pointe des cheveux, relâchez la
pression et laissez les cheveux sortir. Répétez
pour les autres sections jusqu’à ce que vous
obteniez le style désiré. Vous devrez peut-être
répéter le processus à certains endroits,
dépendamment de la texture et de l’humidité
des cheveux.
Maîtriser l'utilisation du fer à défriser demande
un peu de pratique. Vous saurez vite, après
quelques utilisations, la meilleure façon de
défriser et de coiffer vos cheveux sans
difficulté.

Le fer à défriser ne demande pratiquement
aucun entretien et n’a pas à être lubrifié. Gar-
dez les évents et les ouvertures propres et
libres. Pour le nettoyer, débranchez-le de la
prise de courant et essuyez-en la surface avec
un linge. Dans le cas d’un fonctionnement
anormal, débranchez-le, laissez-le refroidir et
présentez-le à un service après-vente agréé.
Le consommateur ne devrait jamais tenter de
le réparer lui-même.
MISE EN GARDE
Ne tirez ni ne tortillez JAMAIS le cordon, Ne
l’enroulez pas autour du fer. Vous risquez de
l’endommager au point de flexion à l’entrée
dans le fer, ce qui pourrait causer un bris et
un court-circuit. Vérifiez régulièrement l’état
du cordon. Si vous décelez des dommages
évidents ou si le fer cesse de fonctionner ou
fonctionne par intermittence, cessez d’utiliser
le fer immédiatement.
RANEMENT
Quand vous ne l’utilisez pas, débranchez le fer
et rangez-le en lieu sûr et sec, hors de la por-

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This straightening iron is intended for house-
hold use. This unit is designed to operate at
125 volts AC. Use on Alternating Current
(60 hertz) only.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
STRAIGHTENING BASICS
Plug the straightening iron cord into any house-
hold outlet (125V). Press ON button. Red and
green lights will blink alternately. When ready
to use, green light will remain on and red light
will turn off. The iron will heat up very quickly.
To turn off, press OFF button. Green light will
go off. Red light will remain on as a safety
precaution to indicate the iron is still plugged
in. Never leave your straightening iron on and
unattended. However, should you fail to turn the
unit off, it will shut itself off automatically
within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The straightening iron’s ceramic-
coated plates will get very hot within a few
seconds and should not be placed in contact
with the skin after the straightening iron has
been turned on.
Start with a hair section that is 2" wide and no
more than 1/2" thick. Open the iron and place
a hair section between the two hot plates, close
to the scalp. Close plates over hair by firmly
squeezing the handles together. While
maintaining the tension, slowly pull the unit
down along the hair section toward the end of
hair. At the end of hair section, release the
pressure on the handle and allow the hair to
slide out. Repeat process on additional sections
of hair until you achieve the hair style you desire.
It may be necessary to repeat process on certain
areas, depending on the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this straightening iron. After using the
iron several times, you will learn the ideal way
to straighten and style your hair easily.
NOTE: Please refer to the temperature setting
guide for heat settings.

6. Tenez le cordon loin des surfaces

7. Ne tordez ni ne tirez le fil et ne l'enroulez

ne placez pas l’appareil sur une surface
souple comme un lit ou un divan où les
ouvertures pourraient se bloquer. Gardez les
ouvertures libres de charpies, cheveux,
etc.
9. Ne l’utilisez jamais en somnolant.
10. N’échappez ni n’insérez rien dans une
ouverture.
11. Ne l’utilisez pas à l’extérieur ni là où l’on
utilise des produits aérosols ou administre
de l’oxygène.
12. L’appareil est chaud en cours d’usage. Ne
laissez pas les surfaces chaudes toucher
les yeux ou la peau nue.
13. Ne placez pas l’appareil chauffé
directement sur une surface ou sur le
cordon alors qu’il est encore chaud ou
branché.
14. Ne touchez pas les surfaces chaudes de
l’appareil. Utilisez des moufles ou des
boutons.
15. Ne touchez pas le boîtier de l’appareil près
des plaques à défriser car il est très chaud
en cours d’usage.

D’UTILISATION
Le fer à défriser ne convient qu’à l’usage ménager.
Il peut être branché à un secteur de 125 volts
CA de 60Hz.
Cet appareil est muni d’une fiche polarisée (une
lame est plus large que l’autre). Pour raisons de
sécurité, cette fiche ne se branche que d’une
seule façon dans une prise. Si elle ne convient
pas, inversez-la. Si elle ne convient toujours
pas, consultez un électricien. Ne contrez pas
cette mesure de sécurité.
ÉLÉMENTS DU DÉFRISAGE
Branchez le fer à défriser dans une prise de
courant ordinaire (125 V). Appuyez sur ON. Les
indicateurs rouge et vert clignoteront tour à tour.
Quand le fer est prêt, l'indicateur vert reste allumé
et l'indicateur rouge s'éteint. Le fer chauffe très
vite. Pour l'éteindre, appuyez sur OFF. L'indicateur
vert s'éteint et l'indicateur rouge reste allumé
par sécurité, indiquant que le fer est toujours
branché. Ne laissez jamais le fer allumé sans
surveillance. Toutefois, si vous oubliez de
l'éteindre, il s'éteindra automatiquement dans
les 60 minutes.
AVERTISSEMENT : Les plaques enduites de
céramique du fer à défriser deviennent très
chaudes en quelques secondes. Ne touchez
pas la peau avec les plaques une fois que le
fer à défriser est allumé.
Commencez avec une mèche large de 51 mm
(2 po) et pas plus épaisse que 12 mm (1/2 po).
Ouvrez le fer et placez les cheveux entre les
plaques chaudes, près du cuir chevelu. Refermez
les plaques en pressant la poignée fermement.
Tout en maintenant la tension, faites glisser le
fer lentement vers la pointe des cheveux. Une
fois le fer à la pointe des cheveux, relâchez la
pression et laissez les cheveux sortir. Répétez
pour les autres sections jusqu’à ce que vous
obteniez le style désiré. Vous devrez peut-être
répéter le processus à certains endroits,
dépendamment de la texture et de l’humidité
des cheveux.
Maîtriser l'utilisation du fer à défriser demande
un peu de pratique. Vous saurez vite, après
quelques utilisations, la meilleure façon de
défriser et de coiffer vos cheveux sans
difficulté.
