INSTRUCTIONS
When using a battery-operated appliance, basic precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before using this appliance.
DANGER– To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1) Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water.
2) Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
3) Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other
liquid.
WARNING– To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock,or injury
to persons:
1) Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can
occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
2) This appliance should not be used by, on, or near children, or
individuals with certain disabilities.
3) Use this appliance only for its intended use as described
in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by
Conair.
4) Never drop or insert any object into the product.
5) Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being
used or where oxygen is being administered.
6) Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) bat-
teries.
CAUTIONS
This massager should not be used in the following cases:
• Tuberculosis, benign and malignant tumors, hemorrhages,
inflammations of the skin, phlebitis and thrombosis, open and
fresh wounds, bruises, broken skin or varicose veins, undeter-
mined calf pain, or joint pain.
• Consult your physician if you have any questions regarding
therapeutic use of this massager.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or
following a serious muscular injury, before consulting your physi-
cian.
• Keep away from children.
• Consult your physician before using if you are pregnant.
• Discontinue use of massage if pain increases or swelling
occurs after application.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for your purchase of the Conair®Boomerang™Mini
Massager. This item requires 2 AAA batteries (included) in order
to use the massaging feature.
BEFORE FIRST TIME USE:
You will find the battery compartment on the top of the unit.
1) At the battery cover indentation gently push in and lift the
cover.
2) Beneath the cover pull and remove the plastic “try me” tab
that prevents the massager from being left on too long in the
store. (see Fig. 1)
3) Close the compartment.
4) The Conair®Boomerang™is now ready for use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1) At the battery cover indentation gently push in and lift the
cover. Insert the batteries so that the +/- terminals of the
battery match the +/- markings in the battery compartment.
2) Close the compartment.
3) Place the Conair®Boomerang™Mini Massager on the area of
your body you want to massage.
4) Turn the unit on by pushing the on/off power button.
5) Use the wide curve area to massage broader areas
and use the two feet for focused massage. One foot provides
gentler massage; one foot provides stronger massage.
6) After your massage, you may turn the Conair®Boomerang™
Mini Massager off by pushing the on/off power button. If you are
traveling or are not going to use the Conair®Boomerang™
Mini Massager for more than a few days, remove the batteries to
extend their life and to prevent damage from possible battery
leakage.
RECOMMENDED MASSAGING TIMES
Generally, massage should last only 15 minutes on any one par-
ticular part of the body. Treatment may be applied once or twice
daily as desired.
As metabolism varies among individuals, so does their response
to massage. You will soon adjust the time to suit your particular
needs and personal comfort.
If you have any doubts regarding treatment, we recommend you
consult your physician.
MAINTENANCE
Your Conair®Boomerang™Mini Massager is designed for house-
hold use only and is virtually maintenance-free. To clean your
massager, use a dry cloth only. Do not use any strong chemical
cleaners.
STORAGE
When not in use, you should remove the batteries from your
Conair®Boomerang™Mini Massager and store it in a safe, dry
location out of reach of children.
LIMITED ONE YEAR
WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge
for 12 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defec-
tive in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product
to the service center listed below that is nearest you, together
with your receipt and $7.50 for postage and handling. In the
absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period will be
12 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 12-MONTH DURATION
OF THIS WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE
FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may
also have other rights which vary from province to province.
