
STEP 5 ‐Pay out the rope and connecng to the conductor

PAYING OUT THE ROPE
With machine in posion and properly anchored you can ease the joysck forward on the
remote to payout the rope from the reel towards the conductors to be pulled. There must
be pressure against the rope when paying out to avoid slippage on the bull wheels.
Remember if you choose to use free wheel mode you will need to apply 675 pounds of
pressure to payout the rope.
CONNECTING THE CONDUCTOR
Once the rope is paid out to the conductor you will need a properly sized swivel to link the
pulling eye and the conductor. Connect to the conductor using the conductors
manufacturers instrucons *** WARNING ‐DO NOT PULL WITHOUT USING A SWIVEL***
STEP 5 ‐Seng the maximum pull force
Seng maximum pull force will limit the maximum allowable force the machine will apply to
the pulling rope. It is displayed on the remote with an indicator like the one in RED shown
below. When set the unit will not pull with anymore force then programmed. If the

STEP 6 ‐Recovery/Pulling of the rope
With the machine anchored properly, conductor connected to the rope with a swivel and max
pull force set you can begin the pull. It is important not to make abrupt control inputs or
direcon changes. Slippage of the rope on the bull wheels may occur, ease into the pull and
gently increase speed.
