INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
To reduce the risk of electrocution, cuts, or other serious injury or death:
Dealer/Installer: Give manual to homeowner.
Installer: Read "Safe Installation" on page # 2 and all instructions before beginning. For proper assembly
and installation, instructions must be followed completely.

Note: The FSP spa skirt
can be used right over the
existing skirting or by itself
after removing the old skirting.
Removing the old skirting will
allow the new panel to tuck
up and under the shell. It is
also helpful to unpack the
flexible panels and lay them
flat to take the curve out.
Safe Installation
To reduce the risk of electrocution, cuts, or other serious injury or death:
Use for intended purpose only
• Use only as spa skirting.
• Installation of spa skirting may prevent access to electrical and mechanical equipment. Plan accordingly.
Follow all instructions
• For correct assembly and installation, all instructions must be followed completely and in the sequence
shown.
• Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for the safe use of all hand tools and equipment used during
installation.
Cordless drill only - no corded drills near spa. Use a cordless drill for assembly and installation. To reduce
the risk of electrocution, NEVER use a corded tool in or around a spa. Use a cordless circular saw or make
all cuts away from the spa.
Lift safely. When lifting awkward or heavy loads, have another person help you.
Double check after installation
• Before using the product, after assembly and installation, go over the instructions and procedures again to
make sure nothing has been overlooked.

Deactivate the power to the spa. Remove the old skirting
and measure the height. The new skirting will be installed the
same way or butting up to the shell.
Using a circular saw with a ne tooth blade, cut all 5 panels
and both anges to this height. If using a corded saw, make
all cuts a safe distance from the spa.

If not already framed in, use a couple of 2x4’s to frame out an opening for an equipment service panel. The service panel
should be at least 24” in width, but can be wider. A third 2x4 will be used as a horizontal support. It needs to be installed as
a backer to fasten the service panel to.
Using three screws in each ange, install both anges onto
each of the 2x4’s used to frame out the service opening.
Measure the length of one of the spa panels and cut a piece
of string to the exact length. The string will be used to layout
the panels around the spa.

With a helper continue wrapping panel around spa keeping
enough tension on panel to eliminate any buckling. Fasten
panel into bracing using three of the provided screws in the
top, middle, and bottom of the panel.
Install the second panel by overlapping onto rst panel as
shown.
Starting at the left panel ange, hold one end of the string to the edge on the ange. Have your helper wrap the string around
the spa to determine where the panel will end. Mark the location. Continue this process to determine all of the panel locations
marking the start/stop of each panel on the spa. Make sure the panels start/stop on a straight side, adjust if necessary.
Add additional bracing if necessary, bracing should be no
more than 24” apart.
Starting at the left ange install the rst panel as shown using
three of the color matched screws. Use gloves to prevent
cuts if panel edges are sharp.

Slide panel under anges. Attach panel to horizontal support using 6 screws spaced
about one foot apart.
Continue installing the panels making sure to overlap at each
end. The last panel will have to be cut in length to butt up to
the ange edge.
Measure from the outside of each ange and subtract 1”
from that measurement. Cut a panel to length using this mea-
surement.
