Safety Precautions
- Before using this device, please be sure to read through all
instructions carefully.
- Keep this user guide in a safe place so that other users have
access to it any time they might need it.
- Always handle the device and any accessories with care and
where possible set them up in a clean and dust free environ-
ment.
Important Note:
Your receiver can be set to a high volume. To protect your hearing
or the hearing of people with unimpaired hearing, particularly of
children, from any damage caused by excessively loud volume,
please observe the following information:
1. Set the volume to low before using the receiver.
2. While using the device, set the volume to a level that is comfor-
table for you.
Intended Use
This product is equipped with a built-in activated T-Coil coupler,
designed to receive signals transmitted by hearing loop systems.
The sound signal received by the device can be heard via a head-
set or earphones connected to its sound output. The sound vol-
ume level can be adjusted to your preferred level.
The sound quality you will experience will greatly depend on the
performance of the hearing loop system you will be listening to,
and the headset/earphones quality. It is recommended to use
the manufacturer’s compatible headset or earphones. These
may be included with the device.

Using the RX30 Hearing Loop Listener
Place the headset over both ears and adjust the side arms until

RX30 Hearing Loop Listener via the 3.5mm audio jack.
The control wheel can be used to switch the device on and also
to control the volume. The red LED will light up when the device
is switched on.

the optimum sound level and quality (this can vary depending on
the installed hearing loop location), this can be achieved using eit-
her the lanyard or belt clip provided with this kit. Changing the
angle of the device could reduce the sound level and its quality.
Make sure that the hearing loop system and the sound
source connected to it are switched on.
Adjust the volume of the RX30 Hearing Loop Listener to a
com-fortable level. The bass cut switch can be used to
optimize sound.

Inserting and charging the Batteries
The RX30 is operated with 2 AAA rechargeable batteries supplied
with the receiver.
NOTE: Use only the supplied batteries and if replacement bat-
teries are needed, please order these from your supplier. Using
other types of batteries can invalidate the warranty and damage
the product.
Open the battery compartment by sliding the battery cover in the
direction of the arrow using your thumb. Insert the 2 batteries ac-
cording to the marking inside the battery compartment, ensuring
the correct polarity is adhered to. Replace the battery cover on the
compartment.

With the batteries in, the product must be charged after each use.
Recharge by placing the unit into a charging bay (sold separately),
ensuring the product is fully in the bay and makes good contact
with the charging pins. Do not force the unit in, simply place it
gently so it slides into position.
Reception Range
The RX30 receiver is functional within the area of an installed and
working hearing loop system, and only when sound is played th-
rough the system. The receiver will operate with limited capacity
outside this area.

Bass Cut Filter Switch
The Bass Cut switch is located on top of the unit . The Bass Cut can
be used to optimise the sound depending on the circumstances. It
is useful for removing the low frequency humming sounds found

Attaching the Lanyard / Belt Clip
The receiver includes a lanyard and a belt clip which can be atta-
ched to the rear side of the device. To attach the clip to the recei-
ver, place the clip on the hook on the back of the device, turn
the clip 180° until it snaps into place with its flat side facing
upwards.

put of the RX30:

Important Notice
This product is not protected against water, including splashes. Do

Warranty
The RX30 is a very reliable product. Should a malfunction occur
despite the unit having been set up and operated correctly, please
contact your dealer or the manufacturer directly. It is recommen-
ded that you send in the product in its original packaging, so keep
the packaging for the duration of the warranty period.
The warranty is for production defects only, it does not cover
damage caused by incorrect handling, misuse, damage caused
due to falls, transit, or attempts to repair the unit by people not
authorised to do so (destruction of the seal on the unit). Repairs
will only be carried out under warranty if the product is returned
accompanied by a copy of the invoice/ till receipt. Always specify
the product serial number when making a warranty claim.
Batteries
The batteries that come with the device can be recycled. Please di-
spose of these batteries in receptacles designed for that purpose
or return them to a retail outlet. Dispose only of those batteries
that have been completely discharged to ensure environmental
protection.

countries with a separate collection system). The symbol on
the product or the packaging indicates that this product is not to
be handled as ordinary household waste but has to be returned to
a collecting point for the recycling of electric and electronic units.
You protect the environment and health of your fellow man by the
correct disposal of the product.
Environment and health are endangered by a faulty disposal. Ma-
terial recycling helps to reduce the consumption of raw material.
You will receive further information on the recycling of this pro-
duct from your local community, your communal disposal compa-
ny or your local dealer.
