1. Pre-Flight Preparation
Before you take off, make sure that:
1. The drone and the remote controller are completely charged.
2. The propellers are installed correctly.
3. The motors work normally after unlocking.
How to charge the drone battery:
1. Connect the battery to the balanced charger as show below.
2. A full charge takes about 5 hours. During the charging process,
the green light will be flashing slowly and a solid red light will be
on. When the battery charge is complete, both the green and red
light will be solid.

Attention:
●Adult supervision is required when charging the batteries.
●Only batteries of the same type as recommended are to be used.
●Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the drone.
●The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
●The charging line to be used with the product should be regularly examined for
potential hazards--such as damage to the cable, cord, or plug.
●If the battery or charger is damaged, please discontinue use immediately and
call us at 909-923-8872 for replacement parts.

2. Download the Mobile App
ATTENTION: Please make sure that your mobile device supports
5G Wi-Fi before linking to the Contixo F20 App.
The Contixo F20 App is
available for download on both
Android and iOS devices.
Search "Contixo F20" in the
Google Play Store or App Store
and install the App.
How to link the Contixo F20
App to the drone’s camera:
First, turn on your drone. Then
enter into your phone settings.
Turn on Wi-Fi, find
“Drone_XXXX” on the list, and
connect your device to that Wi-
Fi signal.
Next, exit settings and tap open
the "Contixo F20" App on your
smartphone; click ‘START’ to
enter the APP interface. You will
see a live feed from the drone
camera and you will be ready to
use the App to record videos,
take photos, view your gallery,
and enter the VR Headset FPV
viewer (VR headset not
included).

3. Product Assembly
Using the supplied screwdriver, unscrew counterclockwise to open
the battery compartment cover and install four (4) AA batteries into
the battery compartment according to the given polarity. Screw
clockwise to close the battery compartment.

Locate the F20 smartphone clip and
attach it to the antenna of your
remote. Simply slide the phone
holder into place until you hear a
“click” indicating the clip is secured.
The smartphone device clip is
essential for FPV (First Person
Viewing) while flying your device.
The smartphone clip can hold devices up to 6 inches in width.

Please note that the Wi-Fi connectivity
from the drone to your smartphone can
be affected by multiple factors. If you are
experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues,
we recommend you reposition your
drone while flying or fly your drone in
another location.

6. Link the Remote Controller with the Drone
Note: Battery must be completely charged prior to first flight
The drone must first be turned off
for this to work. All you need to do
is “simultaneously” press the red
button on top of the remote and
turn on the power of the remote
controller. The remote will send
out 2 beeping sounds and the
indicator light will keep flashing
(indicating that the remote
controller is now ready to connect
to the drone).
With the remote controller still in signal connection status, power
on your drone. After a beep sound, the connection signal icon is
shown on the LCD screen. It means that the drone has successfully
linked to the remote controller. Allow up to 8 seconds for the
remote controller to pair.

The signal connection setup will only need to be completed once.
The remote controller will remember your drone once paired.
The front and rear lights on the drone will flash red, yellow, and
green alternately. Please make sure that the drone is set on a flat
and level surface for the initialization detection. The initialization
detection is done once the front and the rear lights glow yellow and
flash alternately. Now the drone will enter compass calibration
mode.

7. Calibrate the Drone’s Compass
When the drone's front and rear
lights flash yellow alternatively,
hold the drone horizontal and
rotate it 360 degrees
(counterclockwise) along the
central axis for about 3 circles.

to flashing green alternatively
when you complete this step.

Hold the drone (with its camera
facing down) and rotate it 360
degrees (counterclockwise)
along its central axis for about 3
circles until the front and rear
light of the drone change from
flashing to solid green. The
front lights will be solid red and
the rear lights will be solid
yellow. The compass calibration
is successful when the lights are
no longer flashing. You are now
ready for liftoff!

8. Enable GPS (Global Positioning System)
GPS mode enables precise positioning and prevents drone loss.
Simply move the GPS switch to the “ON” position before
operating the drone to use all of the GPS features (such as Auto
Return/Return to Home and Low Battery Return To Home).
ATTENTION: After the compass is calibrated, you must
wait approximately 1-2 minutes until you achieve a GPS
signal of at least 7. For best results, please operate the
drone outdoors and in good weather condition.

9. How to Start or Stop the Drone
Short-press the red button. The motors will begin to rotate and the
drone will be ready for liftoff.

Pull down the throttle stick to the bottom position until the
propellers stop. When the propellers stop, it means the drone is
locked.

10. One Key Takeoff and Landing
After the drone is unlocked, short-press the take off button (as
indicated below), the drone will automatically takeoff and hover at a
altitude of 5 ft.

When the drone is flying, short-press the landing button (indicated
as below), the drone will automatically land on the ground. You
can control the drone as it descends if you need to avoid obstacles.

When the drone lands and the motors stop the drone will be
locked. You must unlock the drone again in order to takeoff.

11. Return To Home (RTH)
The Return-to-Home(RTH) procedure brings the drone back to the
last recorded Home Point. There are 3 types of RTH procedures:
smart RTH, failsafe RTH and low battery RTH.
If a strong GPS signal is available (more than 7 satellites on the LCD
screen) and the home point is recorded at takeoff, press the return
home button. The drone will fly back to the home point. You can
use the remote controller to guide the drone around obstacles
during the smart RTH procedure. You can press the RTH button
again to exit RTH procedure and regain the control of the drone.

The Home Point is the location from
where the drone takes off. A strong
signal of at least 7 must be present
prior to take off in order for the drone
to remember the home point.

12. Congratulations, you are now ready to fly!
