1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Course Housewares,LLC warrants this Cook’s Companion® product to be free from manufacturer
defect for up to 1 year from the original date of purchase. If a defect is found to exist, Course
Housewares will, at its option, either repairor replace the product or the defectivecomponent,
including labor.Replacement will be made with a new or rebuilt product orcomponents. This warranty
does NOT cover (a) ordinary wear and tear(such as scratches, chips or stains), (b) impact damage or
breakage, (c) heat discoloration, minorimperfections and slightcolor variations in the silicone or metal,
which are a normal part of the craftsmanship, (d) extreme temperature or resulting damage tothe
product, (e) improper cleaningmethods, or (f) accessories,even if sold with the product, (g) any unitthat
hasbeen tampered with, (h) damages incurred through improper use and care and (i)faulty packaging
by you or mishandling by any common carrier. Failure to follow the accompanying Care and Use
instructions or commercial use will void this warranty.
Course Housewares’ sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to repair
or replacement,at its option, of the defective product. You will be responsible for any shipping and
handling fees. Products returnedto us that are not found tobe defective in materialor workmanship
will be returned toyou.If your particularproductis founddefective butis no longer available and cannot
be repaired, a comparable product, at our discretion, will be sent as a replacement. Course Housewares
cannot guarantee a replacement of the same color as your originalpurchase. This warranty extends
only to the product’s original purchaser, US residents only and does not cover damage caused by
improper use or accidental damage. This warranty covers the Vertical UtilityBasket and the 2 included
Trivets.

INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES WHETHER A CLAIM IS BASEDON CONTRACT,
TORT, WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE, IN NO EVENT WILL LIABILITY EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE
PRICE OFTHE PRODUCT. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, INCLUDINGBUT
NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN. COURSE

Getting Started
 Before using, remove anylabels and wash and dry each item in accordance with the
care and use instructions.
Compatibility
 The Cook’s Companion® Vertical Utility Basket is compatible with the Cook’s
Companion® 12 Cup Vertical Utility Pot (not included) . While the two included trivets
have a variety of uses, they are recommended to be used with your Utility Basket.
 The Utility Basket and Trivets are not intended for any stovetop, microwave, or oven
use.

WARNINGS:
• Do not use or place any of the items on the stovetop or in any oven, including a microwave.
• Follow all Care & Useinstructions before using.
• CAUTION: All items will become HOT when using. It is recommended to always use mitts or a
dry towel when handling.

Cleaning and Care
 While your items are dishwasher safe, hand washing with warm soapy water and a
softsponge or towel is recommended and will prolong the life and beauty of your
accessories.
 Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Never usescouring pads onany part of your
cookware.
 Always allow your cookware to cool completely before submerging in water.
 Never scrape the pan and always be gentle when using utensils.
Cooking Tips
 When makingtortellini or any other stuffed pasta try using the Vertical Utility Basket
for easy cooking and straining!
 Your Utility Basket can boil up to approximately 18 Medium sized eggs at one time!
Always make sure there is at least 1 inch of water covering the eggs. Once the eggs
are boiled to your desired doneness, remove the lid, and using the silicone basket
hand lift the eggs out of the water and set on the Cook’s Companion® Silicone Trivet
to cool!
 Steaming Clams and Mussels have never been easier! You canfit approximately 32
clams or 18 Mussels in the Utility Basket at a time! That’s convenience at its finest!
