shankof cutterto within

of bottomof
collet.
2. Hold
theoutput
shaftbydepressinglocking
lever
until
it engagesnotchin lock

3. Tighten
thecolletnut securely
withthewrench
provided.
4. Removecuttersby
looseningcollet
nutenoughto
allowcutter
to slip easily
fromcollet.Should
cutter not slip easily from collet continue
loosening
nutuntilnut presses
against
ring
on
colletandforcescolletand cutterfrom router.
Thecolletismachinedto preclsion
tolerances
to fit
cutters with 1/4" diameter
shank slze. Do not
tightenthecollettohold
cuttersthat
areundersized.
The
result
may
be
abent
collet
whichwlll not
accept
standardcutters.DANGER:
Underslzedcuttersmay
not tighten
securely.
This could resultin cutter
being
thrownfromtoolcausingserlousInJury.
DEPTH

made
atadepth
not
exceeding
1/8" andthatseveral
passes
be made
to
reachthe requireddepth.
