Heart Rate Monitor
Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new heart rate monitor. You have chosen
a high quality product. The instruction manual is part of the product- it contains
important information about safety, use and disposal. Read the manual with all
usage and safety notes before using the watch. Only use the watch in the intended
way and for the intended applications.
If the watch is given to someone else, include all documentation with the heart rate
watch with chest belt.
Intended use
This heart rate monitor is intended for time display and the described additional
features. Any other use or modification of the heart rate monitor does not comply
with the intended uses. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by
improper use or misuse. The device is not intended for commercial use.

Please note: Check the scope of delivery after purchase. Please ensure that all
parts are included and undamaged.

TTENTION: Consult your doctor before you begin any
training program. Your doctor can help you choose the
proper training intensity and heart rate guidelines for your
exercises.
This heart rate monitor is not a medical device and should
only be used as a guide for your training.
- Batteries
Insert the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the correct polarity. Don’t try to
recharge non-rechargeable batteries and under no circumstances throw them into
fire. Danger of explosion.
Do not use unequal batteries (old and new, Alkaline and carbon, etc.)
simultaneously. If you will not use the device for a long time, remove the batteries

and store the device in a dry and dust-free place. Improper use of batteries may
cause an explosion or leakage. If the batteries have leaked, use gloves and clean
the heart rate monitor thoroughly with a dry cloth.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries can be life threatening when swallowed. Store
the batteries where they cannot be reached by small children. If a battery is
swallowed, medical aid must be sought immediately.
- Heart rate onitor should not be in the hands of children
Never let children use electrical devices unsupervised. Children can’t always
recognize the possible dangers properly. Batteries/rechargeable batteries can be
life threatening when swallowed. Store the batteries where they cannot be
reached by small children. If a battery is swallowed, medical aid must be sought
immediately.
Also keep the packaging foils away from children. Danger of suffocation.
Chest belt
Inserting the batteries into the chest belt
se a coin to unscrew the battery cover on the back side of the chest belt and
insert the 3V battery with the (+) sign facing up. Screw the battery compartment
cover back into the case.

Wearing the chest belt
Adjust the chest belt so that it fits snugly directly below the chest muscles. Moisten
the contact areas with water or ECG gel (ECG gel can be purchased at a
pharmacy). Ensure that the contact areas constantly remain in skin contact.
Position the chest belt as per the following illustration.
Please ensure that the chest belt is seated properly. When you have exhaled
completely the chest belt should still have very slight tension pressing it to your
chest.
High voltage power lines, Trains or moving vehicular traffic may interfere with the
heart rate measurement. Please consider this when planning your exercise route.

Setup
Remove the protective film from the display and press MODE, SEL or SET.
Now select English or German language by pressing SEL and confirm your setting
by pressing SET. Select the unit KM-KG or Miles/pounds (M-LB) in the same way.
Complete the setting procedure by pressing MODE.
The watch can be reset by pressing and holding SET and SEL together. Only after
reseting the watch the other language can be selected.
Using the bicycle holder
The included bicycle holder can be used to attach the heart rate monitor to the
handlebar of a bicycle. Press the bicycle holder onto the top of the handlebar.
Handlebars with an especially large diameter may require the use of additional
force to snap on the bicycle holder. The heart rate monitor can now be attached to
the bicycle holder in the same way that you would attach it to your wrist.
The maximum range of 60cm between the heart rate monitor and the chest belt
should not be exceeded.
Please note that the pedometer features of the heart rate monitor (distance, speed
etc.) will not be functional while the watch is mounted on the bicycle holder.

Light
Briefly press LIGHT to temporarily activate the light.
I portant notes on the operation of the heart rate
onitor
The watch has 4 different odes of operation.
Press MODE to select the mode of operation of the watch.
The order of the modes is as follows:
ti e and basic settings (ZEIT/TIME)
stop watch (ST-UHR/CHRONO)
heart rate (PULS/HRM)
pedo eter (PEDO)
Each mode of operation may have several subfeatures.
The subfeatures can always be accessed by pressing SEL.
Speed setting
When setting numerical values, press and hold SEL to use the speed setting
feature.
Ti e and basic settings (ZEIT/TIME)
Press MODE to select the (ZEIT/TIME) feature before proceeding.
The subfeatures of the time mode can be accessed by pressing SEL.
time and basic settings (ZEIT/TIME) > alarm ( L RM) > timer (TIMER)
Press and hold SET for 3 seconds to access setting mode.
The display will show EINSTELLEN/HOLD TO SET and the 12 or 24 hour
selection will blink on the display.

Press SEL to select a setting and confirm your setting by pressing SET. Set the
seconds, minutes, hours, year, month and day in the same way.
Now the basic settings will follow. First the year of the birthday setting will appear
(GEB-TAG/BIRTHDAY).
Press SEL to set the year and press SET to confirm your setting. Set the month and
day in the same way.
Now the weight display will appear (GEWICHT/WEIGHT). Set the digits of your
weight by pressing SEL and confirm each digit by pressing SET.
Now the height display will appear (GROESSE/HEIGHT). Set each digit of your
height by pressing SEL and confirm each digit by pressing SET.
Exit setting mode by pressing MODE.
Second time zone
Press and hold SEL for 3 seconds. The watch will switch to the second time zone
display and T2 will appear on the display. Setting the second time zone can be
accomplished in the same way as described in the previous paragraph.
Press and hold SEL for 3 seconds to return to normal time mode.
Alar (ALARM)
Press and hold SET for 3 seconds to enter setting mode.
EINSTELLEN/HOLD TO SET will appear on the display and the minutes of the
alarm time will blink.
Press SEL to set the minutes and press SET to confirm your setting. Set the hours in
the same way.
You may optionally set the month and day as well.
If neither month nor day are set the alarm will sound daily. If the day is set, the
alarm will sound monthly. If both the month and the day are set the alarm will
sound only at the set date.
The hourly chime setting will now appear on the display (STDALARM/CHIME).
Press SEL to select the setting and confirm your selection by pressing SET.
(EIN/ON=on, A S/OFF=off).
If the chime is activated, the bell symbol will appear and the watch will chime at
the beginning of every hour.

Exit setting mode by pressing MODE.The alarm can be activated or deactivated
by pressing SET. If the alarm is activated the alarm symbol •)) will appear.
When the alarm sounds, press SET, SEL or MODE to stop the alarm.
Ti er (TIMER) ax. 23:59:00
Press and hold SET for 3 seconds to enter setting mode.
The minutes of the timer time will blink on the display.
Press SEL to set minutes of the timer time and confirm your setting by pressing SET.
Set the hours in the same way.
Now the additional settings for the timer will follow. Press SEL to select the desired
mode:
Cd r After reaching 0:00 the timer will count the set time again.
Cd After reaching 0:00 the timer will count forward
Cd S After reaching 0:00 the timer will stop
Exit setting mode by pressing MODE.
The timer can be started or stopped by pressing SET.
Press and hold SET to reset the timer.
After the timer time is up an alarm will sound.
Stop watch (ST-UHR/CHRONO)
Press MODE to select the (ST- HR/CHRONO) feature before proceeding.
Press SET to start or stop the stop watch. Press SEL while the stop watch is running
to record a lap time. p to 99 laps can be recorded.
Press and hold SET to reset the stop watch.
Me ory feature (ANSICHT DATEN/DATA RECALL)
Press SEL while the stop watch is stopped to display the fastest lap on the display.
Press SET to display the other lap times.
Please note: The memory feature can only be used if at least one lap time was
recorded.

Heart rate easure ent (PULS/HRM)
The subfeatures of the heart rate measurement can only be used when the chest
belt is connected.
Press MODE to select the (P LS/HRM) feature before proceeding.
Press SEL to access the subfeatures of the heart rate watch.
Timer (TIMER) > Memory feature (SPEICHER/MEMORY) > target heart rate
(ZONE) > calories burned, fat burned and BMI (K LORIEN/C LORIE) >
pedometer (PEDO) > fitness (FITNESS NIVE U/ FITNESS LEVEL)
In the middle row of the display the heart rate is shown while wearing the chest
belt. If the signal is received from the chest belt the heart symbol will flash.
To the right of the heart rate in percent of the maximum heart rate is shown. The
maximum heart rate is calculated by evaluating your age, weight and height.
Ti er (TIMER)
The bottom row of the display will show the elapsed training time. The middle row
will show your heart rate and the heart rate in percent of the maximum heart rate.
The timer will start automatically when the chest belt starts measuring the heart
rate. The timer will continue counting the time if the feature mode of the watch is
changed.
Press SET to select the timer mode:
TIMER total training time
training time in heart rate target zone
▲ training time with heart rate over target zone
▼ training time with heart rate below target zone
Press and hold SET to reset the training time.

The stored values are shown in the bottom row of the display.

Press and hold SET to reset the stored values.
Target heart rate (ZONE)
The bottom row of the display will show the lower and upper limit value of the
target zone.
The selected training type is shown on the top row of the display.
L- user defined
1 Health (50-65% of maximum heart rate)
2 Fitness (65-80% of maximum heart rate)
3 Performance (80-95% of maximum heart rate)
Press and hold SET for 3 seconds to enter setting mode.
Select the training type by pressing SEL. If " " is selected (user defined) the lower
and upper limits can be set. Press SET. The display will show the lower limit.
Set the value by pressing SEL and confirm your setting by pressing SET.
Set the upper limit in the same way.
Exit setting mode by pressing MODE.
Press and hold SEL to activate the heart rate alarm. When the heart rate alarm is
activated, the alarm symbol •)) will appear on and an alarm will sound when the
measured heart rate is not within the set zone "BEEP-BEEP...BEEP-BEEP...BEEP-
BEEP".
If the measured heart rate is at or above 99% of the maximum heart rate the max.
heart rate alarm will sound. "BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP". The max. heart
alarm is independant of the training zone and the heart rate alarm of the training
zone.

Calories, fat burn and BMI (KALORIEN/CALORIE)
The lower row will show the burned calories in kcal (KALORIEN/CALORIE).
Press SET to switch to the display of fat burn in gram (FETT/FAT B RN) or to the
display of your BMI (Body Mass Index).
In the display for calorie burn or fat burn the values can be reset by pressing and
holding SET.
Note: To increase the accuracy of the calorie and fat burn displays your age and
weight must be set correctly.
Note: The counter for fat burn is only activated while your heart rate is above 120
beats per minute.
Notes on the BMI
The BMI is a statistical measurement that can be used to judge a persons weight.
For adults, a value between 18.5 and 25 is considered normal. Values below
18.5 are considered "underweight". Values above 25 are considered
"overweight". Values above 30 are considered "Obese".
The BMI is only a coarse guideline because it does not take a persons body type
and body composition into consideration.
Pedo eter (PEDO)
START appears on the display. Press SET to start the pedometer. The speed
(PEDO) or the travelled distance (DISTANZ/DISTANCE) will appear in the lower
row of the display. Press SET to switch between speed and distance.
Fitness (FITNESS NIVEAU/FITNESS LEVEL)
After your training, immediately press SET. A 5 minute countdown will start (cool
down phase).
The bar will show the remaining time. On the left side of the display the heart rate
at the beginning of cool down is shown. On the right side of the display the current
heart rate is shown. The countdown time is shown on the bottom row of the
display.

Step counter (PEDO)
Press MODE to select the (PEDO) feature before proceeding.
Press SEL to select the subfeatures of the pedometer.

The current speed is shown on the middle row of the display.
IMPORT NT: The pedometer can be stopped or started by pressing SET. When
the pedometer is active an animated figure will move in the top left of the display.
Speed alar (ZONE)
In the lower part of the display to lower and upper limits for the target speed are
shown. The current speed will appear in the middle row. The speed alarm can be
activated or deactivated by pressing and holding SEL. If the alarm is activated the
alarm symbol will appear.

Notes on calibration
A calibration for walking and running should always be performed. If you intend
to use the watch for walking only, then the watch must still be calibrated for
walking and running. In this case calibrate running as "fast walking".
If the pedometer is not calibrated it will use standard presets and the values shown
during your training may deviate strongly.
During the calibration phase the watch will record your personal movement
profile. The more evenly you move and the longer the recording time is, the better
the results will be during your training.
The calibration will allow the watch to automatically recognize if you are walking
or running, and adjust the displayed values accordingly.
The displayed values will be more exact if you move with the same rhythm and
speed as during the calibration.
During training, wear the watch on the same wrist as during calibration.
Calibration of the pedo eter and setting the speed alar (ZONE)
If necessary, press SET to stop a running pedometer measurement.
Press and hold SET for 3 seconds to enter setting mode.
The lower limit of the speed zone ( NTERES LIMIT/LOWER LIMIT) will blink on
the display. Set the lower limit by pressing SEL and confirm your setting by
pressing SET.
Set the upper limit (OBERES LIMIT/ PPER LIMIT) in the same way.
The calibration for running will now appear on the display "KALIBR.
LA FEN/CALI FOR R NNING". Select "JA/YES" by pressing SEL and confirm
your selection by pressing SET.
Now set the length of your calibration track (0.1 to 1km). Confirm your setting by
pressing SET.
Now press SET and run the entire length of the calibration track. After completing
the run press SET.

If the calibration was successful "KALIBR OK! SPEICH / CALI OK! SAVE" will
appear. If the calibration was unsuccessful "KALIBR. FEHLER / CALI FAILED" will
appear. In this case please repeat the calibration process.
"KALIBR. GEHEN / CALI FOR WALKING" will now appear on the display.
Complete the calibration for walking in the same way as the calibration for
running.
The calibration can be aborted by pressing MODE.
Exit setting mode by pressing MODE.
Odo eter (GESAMT-DIST/ODOMETER)
The bottom row of the display will show the total covered distance. The value can
be reset by pressing and holding SET.
Pedo eter (SCHRITTE/STEP)
The bottom row of the display will show the step count. The value can be reset by
pressing and holding SET.
Calories, fat burn and BMI (KALORIEN/CALORIE)
The lower row will show the burned calories in kcal (KALORIEN/CALORIE).
Press SET to switch to the display of fat burn in gram (FETT/FAT B RN) or to the
display of your BMI (Body Mass Index).

holding SET.

The bottom row of the display will show the covered distance. The value can be
reset by pressing and holding SET.
Average speed (DURCH-GESCHW/AVG SPEED)
The bottom row of the display will show the average speed. The value can be
reset by pressing and holding SET.
Maxi u speed (MAX GESCHW/MAX SPEED)
The bottom row of the display will show the maximum speed. The value can be
reset by pressing and holding SET.

Troubleshooting
The distance measurements are very imprecise
The watch uses the step length measured during calibration to estimate the
traveled distance.
Recalibrate the step counter. Calibrate it for walking and for running and use extra
care during the calibration.
Running on uneven surfaces may also result in bad calibration.
The heart rate is not shown or is shown incorrectly
Make sure the chest belt is positioned correctly and fits well
Your skin should not be too dry or too cold.
The contact areas can be slightly moistened to improve function
Electromagnetic interference may have an adverse effect on reception
The distance between watch and chest belt must be under 60cm
Other heart rate measuring devices within a 2m range may also cause
interference.
Wireless bicycle computers may cause interference
The batteries may be low and require replacing
The display is unreadable / the light does not work
Replace the batteries
Replacing the watch battery
The battery replacement can be performed by a watch maker in addition to a
water resistance test. To replace the battery yourself, please read the following
instructions first:
Remove the screws (1, 2, 3 and 4) from the back side of the watch with a small
Phillips screwdriver. Remove the caseback and the battery sticker. se a small, flat
tool to open the latch (5) of the battery holder. Remove the battery and insert a
fresh 3V CR2032 battery with the (+) terminal facing upwards. Ensure that the
gasket (6) is seated correctly. Close the latch of the battery holder. Replace the
battery sticker and the caseback and replace the screws.

Battery low indicator
If the battery voltage on the chest belt battery drops below the voltage required for
normal operation, "TXG RT/TXBELT" and "LO BAT/BATT" will appear on the
display. Replace the battery of the chest belt as described in the chapter "Chest
belt".
Water resistance
Water resistant up to 3 bar. The bar value specifies the atmospheric overpressure
which is applied during testing (DIN 8310).

Cleaning instructions
Clean the heart rate monitor with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth. A glasses cleaning
cloth is ideal.
After each use, clean the chest belt and the watch strap with a sponge and
lukewarm mild soap water. Dry all parts with a towel and hang the chest belt to
dry. Sweat and contaminants are detrimental to the function of the sensor.
Disposal of the electronic appliance
This heart rate monitor may not be disposed of with normal household
waste. Dispose of the unit at an approved disposal facility or at your
local recycling centre. Please observe the current rules and regulations when
disposing of the appliance. Contact the disposal system if in doubt.
Disposal of the batteries
Please dispose of your batteries properly in containers especially set up
at retailers. Batteries do not belong in household waste. Dispose of the
batteries at an approved disposal facility or at your local recycling centre. Contact
the disposal system if in doubt.

If used as intended this product conforms to the basic standards of § 3 and the
other relevant provisions of the FTEG (Section 3 of the R&TTE directive).

This heart rate monitor includes a 3 year warranty starting on the day of purchase.
In case of defects of this heart rate monitor you have, by law, certain rights
regarding the vendor of the watch. These rights are not changed by the warranty
which is described in the following paragraphs.

Warranty conditions
The warranty duration starts on the date of purchase. Please keep the original
receipt in a safe place. The receipt is needed as a proof of purchase. If a defect
occurs in the heart rate monitor within 3 years, the heart rate monitor will be
repaired or replaced (according to our choice) free of charge. This warranty
requires that, within the 3 year warranty period, the watch and the receipt can be
made available to us along with a short written description of the defect and when
it occured. If the defect is covered by the warranty, you will receive the repaired
heart rate monitor or a new heart rate monitor. Repair or replacement does not
cause the warranty period to restart.
Warranty period and defects liability
The warranty period is not increased by the defect liability. This also applies to

Scope of the warranty
The heart rate monitor was manufactured according to strict quality guidelines and
was carefully inspected before delivery. The warranty does not include parts that
experience normal wear and tear and can thus be seen as wear parts or fragile
parts that are damaged. Examples include Switches, Batteries or parts made of
glass.
This warranty becomes void if the heart rate monitor is damaged, is not used in the
recommended way or is improperly repaired.
For proper use of the heart rate monitor all instructions in this manual must be
adhered to exactly. se of the heart rate monitor in a way that is discouraged in
the manual must be avoided.
The heart rate monitor not intended for commercial use. Abusive or improper use,
excessive force and changes that are made by non-authorized repair centers will
void the warranty.

Εισαγωγή
Συγχαρητήρια για την αγορά του νέου σας παµοµετρητή µε ζώνη στήθους.
Αποκτήσατε ένα προιόν υψηλής ποιότητας. Οι οδηγίες χρήσεως είναι µέρος του
παµοµετρητή µε ζώνη στήθους. Περιέχουν σηµαντικές υποδείξεις για την ασφάλεια,
τη χρήση και την απόρριψη. Εξοικειωθείτε πριν από τη χρήση του παµοµετρητή µε
ζώνη στήθους µε όλες τις οδηγίες χρήσεως και ασφαλείας. Χρησιµοποιείστε το
παµοµετρητή µε ζώνη στήθους σύµφωνα µε τις οδηγίες και τις προβλεπόµενες
εφαρµογές.
Σε περίπτωση παράδοσης του παλµοµετρητή µε ζώνη στήθους σε τρίτους
συµπεριλάβετε και όλα τα έγγραφα.
Προοριζόµ νη χρήση
Το ωρολόι χειρός είναι κατάλληλο για την ένδειξη της ώρας και για τη χρήση των
πρσθέτων λειτουργιών που περιγράφονται. Οποιαδήποτε άλλη χρήση ή µετατροπή
της συσκευής δεν επιτρέπεται. Ο κατασκευαστής δεν ευθύνεται για ζηµιές που
προκλήθηκαν από ακατάλληλη χρήση ή λανθασµένη λειτουργία. Η συσκευή δεν

- Μπαταρί ς
Tοποθετήστε τις µπαταρίες/συσσωρευτές πάντα µε τη σωστή πόλωση και µην
προσπαθείτε να επαναφορτίσετε ή να ανοίξετε τις µπαταρίες.
Μην πετάτε ποτέ µπαταρίες στη φωτιά, υπάρχει κίνδυνος έκρηξης. Μη
χρησιµοποιείτε διαφορετικές µπαταρίες (παλιές και καινούργιες, αλκαλικές και µη
αλκαλικές κλπ.) συγχρόνως. Σε περίπτωση µη ορθής χρήσης των µπαταριών
υπάρχει κίνδυνος έκρηξης ή διαρροής. Σε περίπτωση διαρροής των µπαταριών

Σε περίπτωση κατάποσης µπαταρίας καλέστε αµέσως ιατρική βοήθεια.

Μπαταρίες/συσσωρευτές θέτουν σε κίνδυνο τη ζωή σε περίπτωση κατάποσης.
Φυλάξτε τις µπαταρίες σε χώρους απρόσβατους για µικρά παιδιά.
Σε περίπτωση κατάποσης µπαταρίας καλέστε αµέσως ιατρική βοήθεια.
Κρατήστε και το υλικό συσκευασίας (νάιλον) µακριά από παιδιά. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος
ασφυξίας.
Ζώνη στήθους
Τοποθέτηση της µπαταρίας στη ζώνη στήθους
Ξεβιδώστε µε ένα νόµισµα το καπάκι του θαλαµίσκου µπαταρίας στο πίσω µέρος
της ζώνης και τοποθετήστε τη 3V µπαταρία µε το (+) συν προς τα επάνω.
Ξαναβιδώστε το καπάκι.

τοποθέτηση της ζώνης στήθους
Προσαρµώστε τη ζώνη έτσι ώστε να κάθεται σφιχτά στους µύς του στήθους. Βρέξτε
τις επαφές της ζώνης µε λίγο νερό ή τζέλ καρδιογραφήµατος (διατίθεται στα
φαρµακεία). Βεβαιωθείτε ότι οι επαφές έχουν πάντα καλά επαφή µε το δέρµα.
Τοποθετήστε τη ζώνη όπως στην ακόλουθη εικόνα. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι η ζώνη ειναι
καλά τοποθετηµένη. Μετά από την πλήρη εκπνοή θα πρέπει η ζώνη να κάθεται
ελαφρώς τεντωµένη στο στήθος. Πυλώνες υψηλής τάσης, ηλεκτρικές γραµµές
τρένων ή έντονη κίνηση αυτοκινήτων µπορεί να επηρεάσει τη µέτρηση. Παρακαλώ
λάβετε υπόψιν σας τέτοιου είδους παρεµβολές στην επιλογή της διαδροµής.

Λ ιτουργία του ωρολογιού
Αφαιρέστε την προστατευτική µεµβράνη από την οθόνη και πιέστε MODE, SEL ή
SET. Επιλέξτε πιέζοντας το SEL µεταξύ της αγγλικής και της γερµανικής γλώσσας
και επιβεβαιώστε την επιλογή σας πιέζοντας το SET. Επιλέξτε κατά τον ίδιο τρόπο
τη µονάδα µέτρησης KM-KG (χλµ/κιλ) ή M-LB (µίλια-λίβρες). Περατώστε τη
λειτουργία πιέζοντας το MODE. πιέζοντας συγχρόνως το SET και το SEL µπορείτε
να µηδενίσετε το ωρολόι. Μόνο µετά το µηδενισµό είναι δυνατή η επιλογή άλλης
γλώσσας.
Χρήση της βάσης ποδηλάτου
Μπορείτε να φορέσετε το ωρολόι στον καρπό χειρός ή να το σταθεροποιήσετε µε
τη βάση που συµπεριέχεται στο τιµόνι του ποδηλάτου. Πιέστε τη βάση ποδηλάτου
από επάνω προς το τιµόνι του ποδηλάτου. Σε τιµόνια µε ιδιαίτερα µεγάλη διάµετρο
µπορεί απαιτείται αυξηµένη δύναµη για τη σταθεροποίηση της βάσης. Μπορείτε να
σταθεροποιήσετε το ωρολόι-παλµογράφο στη βάση κατά τον ίδιο τρόπο όπως και
στον καρπό του χεριού. Μην υπερβαίνετε κατά τη χρήση του ωρολογιού-
παλµογράφου τη µέγιστη απόσταση µετάδοσης των 60 εκ. από το στήθος.
Έχετε υπόψιν σας πως δεν µπορεί να γίνει χρήση των λειτουργιών του
βηµατοµετρητή (απόσταση, ταχύτητα κλπ.) κατά τη σταθεροποίηση στη βάση του
ποδηλάτου.

Πιέστε για λίγο το LIGHT, για να ενεργοποιήσετε προσωρινά το φωτισµό.
Σηµαντικές πληροφορί ς της χρήσης του ωρολογιού
Το ωρολόι διαθέτει 4 µ νού λ ιτουργιών.
Πιέζοντας το MODE µπορείτε να µεταβείτε στις στα διάφορα µενού λειτουργιών του
ωροογιού. Η σειρά των λειτουργιών είναι:
ώρα και βασικές ρυθµίσ ις (ZEIT/TIME)
χρονόµ τρο (ST-UHR/CHRONO)
παλµοµ τρητής (PULS/HRM)
βηµατοµ τρητής (PEDO)
επιπλέον υπάρχουν στα διάφορα µενού λειτουργιών και διάφορες υπολειτουργίες.
Στις υπολειτουργίες µεταβαίνετε πιέζοντας το SEL.
Γρήγορη ρύθµιση
Κατά τη ρύθµιση αριθµητικών τιµών µπορείτε πιέζοντας και κρατώντας το n SEL να
χρησιµοποιήσετε τη γρήγορη ρύθµιση.
Ώρα και βασικές ρυθµίσ ις (ZEIT/TIME)
Πιέστε αρχικά το πλήκτρο MODE για να επιλέξετε τη λειτουργία (ZEIT/TIME).
Πιέζοντας το SEL µπορειτε να ανακαλέσετε τις υπολειτουργίες του µενού ώρας.
Ώρα και βασικές ρυθµίσ ις (ZEIT/TIME) > ξυπνητήρι (ALARM) >
χρονόµ τρο (TIMER)
Πιέστε και κρατήστε για 3 δευτερόλεπτα το SET, για να µεταβείτε στο µενού
ρυθµίσεων.
Στην οθόνη εµφανίζεται EINSTELLEN/HOLD TO SET και αναβοσβήνει η ένδειξη
της 12ωρης ή 24ωρης ένδειξης.

Πιέστε για ρύθµιση SEL και επιβεβαιώστε τη ρύθµιση πιέζοντας SET. Κατά τον ίδιο
τρόπο ρυθµίστε και τα δευτερόλεπτα, τα λεπτά, τις ώρες, το έτος, το µήνα και την
ηµέρα.
Τώρα ακολουθούν οι βασικές ρυθµίσεις. Πρώτα εµφανίζεται το έτος γεννήσεως σας
(GEB-TAG/BIRTHDAY).
Πιέστε για ρύθµιση SEL και επιβεβαιώστε πιέζοντας SET. Κατά τον ίδιο τρόπο
ρυθµίστε και το µήνα και την ηµέρα.
Τώρα εµφανίζεται η ένδειξη του βάρους (GEWICHT/WEIGHT). Εισάγετε τα ψηφία
του βάρους πιέζοντας SEL και επιβεβαιώστε πιέζοντας SET.
Τώρα εµφανίζεται η ένδειξη του ύψους (GROESSE/HEIGHT). Εισάγετε τα ψηφία
του βάρους πιέζοντας SEL και επιβεβαιώστε πιέζοντας SET.
Τερµατίστε το µενού ρυθµίσεων πιέζοντας το MODE.
∆ ύτ ρη ζώνη ώρας
Πιέστε και κρατήστε για 3 δευτερόλεπτα το SEL. Το ωρολόι µεταβαίνει στην ένδειξη
της δεύτερης ζώνης ώρας και στην οθόνη εµφανίζεται T2. Η ρύθµιση της δεύτερης
ζώνης ώρας γίνεται κατά τον τρόπο που περιγράφτηκε στην προηγούµενη
παράγραφο. Πιέστε και κρατήστε για 3 δευτερόλεπτα το SEL, για να επιστρέψετε
στην κανονική ένδειξη ώρας.
Ξυπνητήρι (ALARM)
κρατήστε για 3 δευτερόλεπτα SET, για να µεταβείτε στο µενού ρυθµίσεων.
Στην οθόνη εµφανίζεται EINSTELLEN/HOLD TO SET και αναβοσβήνουν τα λεπτά
της ώρας αφύπνισης.
Πιέστε για ρύθµιση SEL και επιβεβαιώστε τη ρύθµιση πιέζοντας SET. Κατά τον ίδιο
τρόπο ρυθµίστε και τις ώρες. Εάν επιθυµείτε ρυθµίστε και το µήνα και την ηµέρα.
Σε περίπτωση µη ρύθµισης του µήνα και της ηµέρας ηχεί ο συναγερµός
καθηµερινά. Σε περίπτωση ρύθµισης µόνο της ηµεροµηνίας ηχεί ο συναγερµός
κάθε µήνα. Σε περίπτωση µη ρύθµισης και του µήνα και της ηµέρας ηχεί ο
συναγερµός µόνο στην καθορισµένη ηµεροµηνία.
Στην οθόνη εµφανίζεται τώρα η ρύθµιση της ωριαίας κωδωνοκρουσίας.
(STDALARM/CHIME).
Πιέστε για ρύθµιση SEL και επιβεβαιώστε πιέζοντας SET (EIN/ON AUS/OFF).

Με ενεργοποιηµένη την ωριαία κωδωνοκρουσία εµφανίζεται ένα σύµβολο κώδωνας
και κάθε ώρα ηχεί ο κώδωνας.
Τερµατίστε το µενού ρυθµίσεων πιέζοντας το MODE.
Μπορείτε να ενεργοποιήσετε ή να απενεργοποιήσετε το ξυπνητήρι πιέζοντας το
SET. Με ενεργοποιηµένο το ξυπνητήρι εµφανίζεται το σύµβολο αφύπνισης •)).
Πιέστε κατά την ήχηση του ξυπνητηριού SET, SEL ή MODE, για να κάνετε παύση
της αφύπνισης.
Χρονοµέτρης (TIMER) max. 23:59:00
Πιέστε και κρατήστε για 3 δευτερόλεπτα το SET, για να ρυθµίσετε το χρονοµέτρη.
Στην οθόνη εµφανίζονται τα λεπτά του χρονοµέτρη.
Πιέστε για ρύθµιση SEL και επιβεβαιώστε πιέζοντας SET. Κατά τον ίδιο τρόπο
ρυθµίστε και τις ώρες. Τώρα ακολουθεί η πρόσθετη ρύθµιση του χρονοµέτρη.
Επιλέξτε πιέζοντας το SEL την επιθυµητή τιµή:
Cd r Μετά το µηδενισµό 0:00 ο χρονοµέτρης ξαναµετρά τον καθορισµένο
χρόνο εξ’ αρχής
Cd Μετά το µηδενισµό 0:00 ο χρονοµέτρης µετρά προς τα εµπρός
Cd S Μετά το µηδενισµό 0:00 ο χρονοµέτρης σταµατά τη µέτρηση
Τερµατίστε το µενού ρυθµίσεων πιέζοντας το MODE.
Μπορείτε να κάνετε εκκίνηση ή παύση του χρονοµέτρη πιέζοντας SET.
Πιέστε και κρατήστε το SET, για να µηδενίσετε τον χρονοµέτρη.
Μετά τη λήξη του χρονοµέτρη ηχεί ένας χαρακτηριστικός ήχος.
Χρονόµ τρο (ST-UHR/CHRONO)
Πιέστε αρχικά το πλήκτρο MODE για να επιλέξετε τη λειτουργία
(ST-UHR/CHRONO). Πιέστε SET για έναρξη ή παύση του χρονοµέτρου. Πιέστε
SEL µε ενεργό το χρονόµετρο για να µετρήσετε έναν γύρο. Μπορείτε να
χρονοµετρήσετε εώς και 99 γύρους.
Πιέστε και κρατήστε το SET, για να µηδενίσετε το χρονόµετρο.

Λ ιτουργία µνήµης (ANSICHT DATEN/DATA RECALL)
Πιέστε µε ανενεργό το χρονόµετρο SEL για να εµφανιστεί στην οθόνη ο ταχύτερος
γύρος. Πιέστε SET, για να εµφανιστούν και οι υπόλοιποι γύροι.
Υπόδ ιξη: η λειτουργία µνήµης µπορεί να ανακληθεί µόνο εφόσον έχει
αποθηκευθεί τουλάχιστον ένας γύρος.
Παλµοµ τρητής (PULS/HRM)
Ο παλµοµετρητής λειτουργεί µόνο σε συνδυασµό µε τη χρήση της ζώνης στήθους.
Πιέστε αρχικά το πλήκτρο MODE για να επιλέξετε τη λειτουργία (PULS/HRM).
Πιέζοντας το SEL µπορείτε να ανακαλέσετε τις υπολειτουργίες του παλµοµετρητή.

Στη µεσαία σειρά της οθόνης εµφανίζονται κατά τη χρήση της ζώνης οι παλµοί.
Μόλις γίνει λήψη σήµατος των παλµών αναβοσβήνει το σύµβολο της καρδιάς.
∆εξιά δίπλα από την ένδειξη των παλµών εµφανίζεται το εκατοστιαίο ποσοστό των
παλµών σε σχέση µε την µέγιστη τιµή. Η εκτιµηθείσα µέγιστη τιµή παλµών
υπολογίζεται αυτόµατα από την ηλικία, το βάρος και το ύψος.
Χρονοµέτρης (TIMER)
Στην κάτω σειρά της οθόνης προβάλεται ο διανυόµενος χρόνος προπόνησης. Στη
µεσαία σειρά προβάλονται οι παλµοί και το εκατοστιαίο ποσοστό των παλµών σε
σχέση µε την ανώτατη τιµή.
Ο χρονοµέτρης χρονοµετρά αυτόµατα από τη στιγµή τοποθέτησης της ζώνης
στήθους. Ο χρονοµέτρης συνεχίζει να µετρά ακόµη και αν µεταβείτε σε άλλο µενού
λειτουργιών.
Πιέστε για λίγο SET, για να επιλέξετε το µενού χρονοµέτρη:

Οι αποθηκευµένες τιµές εµφανίζονται στην κάτω σειρά.
HI (O) επιτευχθείσα ανώτατη τιµή παλµών
LO ( ) επιτευχθείσα κατώτατη τιµή παλµών
AV (D) µέση τιµή παλµών
Πιέστε και κρατήστε SET, για να µηδενίσετε τις αποθηκευµένες τιµές.
Στόχος παλµών (ZONE)
Στην κάτω σειρά εµφανίζονται το άνω και το κάτω όριο του διαστήµατος του
στόχου παλµών.
Η επιλεχθείσα προπόµηση εµφανίζεται στην επάνω σειρά.
L- U προσαρµοσµένη
1 υγεία (50-65% της µεγίστης τιµής παλµών)
2 Fitness (65-80% της µεγίστης τιµής παλµών)
3 επίδοση (80-95% της µεγίστης τιµής παλµών)
Πιέστε και κρατήστε για 3, για να µεταβείτε στο µενού ρυθµίσεων.
Επιλέξτε το είδος προπόνησης πιέζοντας το SEL. Κατά την επιλογή "U"
(προσαρµοσµένη) µπορείτε να καθορίσετε τα όρια χειροκίνητα.
Πιέστε το SET. Στην οθόνη αναβοσβήνει η ελάχιστη τιµή όριο. Εισάγετε την τιµή
πιέζοντας το SEL και επιβεβαιώστε την ρύθµιση πιέζοντας το SET.
Κατά τον ίδιο τρόπο ρυθµίστε και την µέγιστη τιµή όριο.
Τερµατίστε το µενού ρυθµίσεων πιέζοντας το MODE.
Πιέστε και κρατήστε SEL, για να ενεργοποιήσετε τον συναγερµό παλµών. Με
ενεργοποιηµένο τον συναγερµό παλµών εµφανίζεται στην οθόνη το σύµβολο •))
και κατά την υπέρβαση του διαστήµατος του στόχου παλµών ηχεί ο
χαρακτηριστικός ήχος "PIEP-PIEP... PIEP-PIEP...PIEP-PIEP". Αν οι παλµοί σας

πλησιάσουν στο 99% της µεγίστης τιµής παλµών ή αν ακόµη δεν την ξεπεράσει,
ηχεί ο συναγερµός µεγίστης τιµής "PIEP-PIEP-PIEP-PIEP-PIEP...". Αυτός ο ήχος είναι
ανεξάρτητος από τη ζώνη προπόνησης και τον συναγερµό της ζώνης
προπόνησης.
Θ ρµίδ ς, καύση λίπους και ∆ΜΣ
(KALORIEN/CALORIE)
Στην τελευταία σειρά αναγράφονται οι καταναλωθείσες θερµίδες σε k al
(KALORIEN/CALORIE). Πιέστε SET, για να µεταβείτε στην ένδειξη της καύσης
λίπους σε γραµµάρια (FETT/FAT BURN) ή στην ένδειξη του ∆ΜΣ.
Κατά την ένδειξη της κατανάλωσης θερµίδων ή της καύσης λίπους µπορείτε να
µηδενίσετε τις αποθηκευµένες τιµές πιέζοντας και κρατώντας το SET.
Υπόδ ιξη: για ακριβέστερη ένδειξη κατανάλωσης θερµίδων και καύσης λίπους θα
πρέπει να γίνει ορθή εισαγωγή ηλικίας και βάρους
Υπόδ ιξη: η µέτρηση καύσης λίπους ενεργοποιείται µετά την υπέρβαση των
παλµών της τιµής των 120 ανά λεπτό.
Υπόδ ιξη για το ∆ΜΣ
Ο ∆ΜΣ είναι µια τιµή αξιολόγησης του σωµατικού βάρους. Μια τιµή µεταξύ 18,5
και 25 θεωρείται για τους ηλικιωµένους φυσιολογική. Τιµές κάτω του 18,5
θεωρούνται υπόβαρες.
Τιµές άνω του 25 θεωρούνται υπέρβαρες. Τιµές άνω του 30 αντιστοιχούν σε
παχυσαρκία.
Ο ∆ΜΣ αφορά µια κατά προσέγγιση τιµή καθώς δεν λαµβάνει υπ’ όψιν ούτε το
σωµατότυπο ούτε την ατοµική αναλογία µεταξύ λίπους και µυικής µάζας
Βηµατοµ τρητής (PEDO)
Στην οθόνη εµφανίζεται START. Πιέστε SET, για να έναρξη της µέτρησης. Η
ταχύτητα (PEDO) ή η διανυθείσα απόσταση (DISTANZ/DISTANCE) εµφανίζονται
στην κάτω σειρά της οθόνης. Πιέστε SET, για µετάβαση µεταξύ ταχύτητας και
διανυθείσας απόστασης.
