│Safety
1.1 General Safety
Safety Info mation:
Wa ning: Indicates highly dange ous consequences such as fi e, se ious inju y and death when
failing to comply with the inst uctions.

failing to comply with the inst uctions.

Danger
The cont olle is used to cont ol the speed of 3 phase synch onous and asynch onous loads, which must
not be used fo single phase o othe pu poses. Failu e to comply could cause cont olle damage o se ious
inju y by fi e.
The cont olle must not be used in any medical equipment in which human life may involve.
The cont olle is manufactu ed acco ding to st ict quality cont ol standa d. Howeve , bypass the safety
p otection in case the cont olle failu e causes death o se ious inju y.
Warning
Do not install damaged cont olle o any cont olle without complete components inside. Failu e to comply
could esult in accident.
Warning
Ca y the cont olle by the bottom as ca ying by the f ont cove may cause inju y and damage f om the
main body of the cont olle falling.
Attach the cont olle to metal o othe nonflammable mate ials. Keep away f om heat and flammable
items.
A cont ol panel must have cooling fans, ai vents and oom fo ventilation when the cont olle is installed
inside.

Danger
Allow only qualified elect ical enginee s to install the cont olle . Failu e to comply could cause elect ical
shocks to pe sonnel o damage to the cont olle .
Ensu e the powe supply is off when connecting. Failu e to comply could cause elect ical shocks.
Ensu e the g ound te minal PE is p ope ly wi ed. Failu e to comply could cause elect ical shocks f om the
cont olle cove . The efo e g ound the cont olle and fo pe sonnel safety.
Do not touch the main ci cuit te minal. Keep the main ci cuit off cont olle cove to avoid elect ical shocks.
The te minal fo b aking esisto is B1 and B2. Do not connect it to any othe te minals. Failu e to comply
could cause a fi e.
Warning
Do not connect th ee-phase powe supply to te minals U, V and W. Failu e to comply could damage the
cont olle .
An output eacto is ecommended when the cable connecting between the cont olle and is ove 100
mete s. Failu e to comply could esult in cont olle damage with ove cu ent caused by ove -dist ibuted
capacitance.
Neve connect the output te minals to capacito s o unapp oved LC/RC filte s. Failu e to comply could
damage the cont olle components.
Sepa ate the cont olle main ci cuit cables and cont ol ci cuit cables. Failu e to comply could cause
inte fe ence to the cont ol signals
Ensu e the phase of powe supply and ated voltage match the label on the cont olle . Failu e to comply
could cont olle damage.
Danger
Connect the powe afte completion of wi ing and closing the f ont cove . Opening the f ont cove when
the powe is on could cause an elect ical shock.
Keep othe pe sonnel off the equipment when setting the cont olle fault esta t and momenta y powe
loss esta t functions. Failu e to comply could cause damage to the pe sonnel and equipment.
Once the cont olle is powe ed, the te minals a e live even when cont olle is not in ope ation. Touching
the te minals could cause elect ical shocks.
Cancel un command befo e esetting the ala m and fault. Failu e to comply could cause physical inju y.
Warning
Do not sta t o stop the cont olle by connection o disconnection the powe supply. Failu e to comply
could cause cont olle damage.

1.1.6 Maintenance
Notice:
All the inst uction photog aphs and diag ams of opened cont olle in this manual a e only fo
illust ation. Do not attempt to ope ate any AC cont olle s with the cove opened.
1.2 Warning Label
The wa ning label is on the f ont of the cont olle . Please ead it ca efully and follow the
inst uctions.
Read the use manual befo e ope ation.
Risk of elect ical shock. Shut off main powe and wait fo 5 minutes befo e se vicing.
Hot su face. Risk of bu n.
Ensu e the and equipment a e in p ope use befo e ope ation. Failu e to; comply could damage the
equipment.
The tempe atu e of the b aking esisto and heatsink could be ve y high du ing ope ation. Do not touch it
o it could esult in scald.
Fo lift applications, please install mechanical b akes.
Adjust a few pa amete s only if necessa y as the defaults a e optimum settings fo most of applications.
Editing pa amete s indisc iminately could cause equipment abno mal ope ation.
Inte lock the elect icity supply with AC cont olle supply when both a e available to a load.
Danger
Do not touch the main ci cuit of the cont olle when powe is on. Failu e to comply could cause elect ical
shocks.
Disconnect the powe supply befo e opening the f ont cove of the cont olle .
Maintain the cont olle only when the CHARGE indicato light is off o 5 minutes afte tu ning off powe
supply, so as to avoid cha ged capacito s causing physical inju y.
Allow only qualified elect ic enginee s and elect ician to maintain, epai and eplace the AC cont olle
modules.
Warning
The elease of b eake on the AC cont olle p ima y side could be caused by inco ect wi ing, sho t ci cuit
and damaged cont olle components. Investigate and emove the p oblem befo e econnecting the
b eake .
Do not use a megge (insulation esisto ) to test the cont olle cont ol ci cuit. Failu e to comply could cause
cont olle damage.

2.2 Receiving Checklist
Check the following when eceiving the cont olle :
1. Is the packaging box in good condition? Any damage o damp ?
If so, contact the dist ibuto o local Cybe Powe ep esentative.
2. Is the model label on the box same as what you pu chased?
If not, contact the dist ibuto o local Cybe Powe ep esentative.

Afte opening the box, is the e any damp ma k inside the box? Any damage o c ack on the

If so, contact the dist ibuto o local Cybe Powe ep esentative.
4. Does the cont olle nameplate show the same model numbe as the ca ton label?

│Controller Installation
3.1 Installation Environment
To ensu e the optimum cont olle pe fo mance, install the AC cont olle in a p ope envi onment
specified below.
Envi onment Conditions

Do not install the cont olle in envi onments with wide tempe atu e
fluctuations so as to ensu e the cont olle eliability.
When the cont olle is installed in an enclosu e cabinet, make su e the cooling
wo ks p ope ly to keep the tempe atu e within the specified levels.
Do not allow the cont olle to f eeze.
When cont olle s a e installed side-by-side in a cabinet, follow the inst uction
illust ated in Figu e 3.2 to ensu e the ai flow.

3.2 Installation Direction and Spacing
3.2.1 Direction
Install the AC cont olle up ight fo bette cooling .

Install the AC cont olle as illust ated below to ensu e the equi ed space fo ai flow and wi ing.

3.2.3 Side-by-Side Installation
Install the AC cont olle s as illust ated below to ensu e the equi ed
space fo ai flow and wi ing.
3.3 Keypad and Terminal Cover Installation
It is not necessa y to emove the keypad befo e wi ing. You just need to loosen the te minal cove
sc ew and emove the te minal cove .
This model enclosu e is non-metal. Loosen te minal cove sc ew and emove te minal cove fo
wi ing. Afte wi ing, affix the te minal cove back in position and tighten the sc ew. Fo wi ing
inst uctions and sc ew tightening to que please efe to Chapte 4.

3.4 Wiring Protection
3.4.1 Controller and Input Cable
Please efe to the following figu e fo the p ope wi ing, DC switch is ecommended to be installed
in PV input side
Note: Ensu e the PV input voltage doesn’t ove 750Vdc at any condition, othe wise may damage the
cont olle .

3.4.2 Output Cable Protection for Short-Circuit Situations
If the output cables a e p ope ly selected acco ding to the cont olle ated cu ent, the cont olle
itself is fully capable of p otecting the loadand output cables in case of sho t-ci cuit situations.
Note: If a single cont olle uns mo e than 1 load, a sepa ate the mal ove load switch o a ci cuit
b eake is equi ed.
3.5 Keypad Remote Usage
Keypad mounted on the cont olle can be emoved and connected to the cont olle using an
extension cable to facilitate ope ation when the cont olle is installed in a location whe e it cannot
be easily accessed. It can also be pe manently mounted emote locations such as panel doo s using
an extension cable and an installation suppo t set.

4.1 Wiring Safety
Danger

Tu n off all the powe to the equipment befo e wi ing. Wi ing du ing powe on could cause

Neve touch input o output powe cables. Do not connect any ci cuit to cont olle enclosu e.

Ensu e te minal sc ews a e all tightened. Loose connection to the main ci cuit could cause

matches the voltage of the incoming powe supply
befo e applying powe .


Do not disconnect the loadf om the cont olle while the cont olle is outputting voltage.

Do not use unshielded cable fo cont ol ci cuit wi ing. Failu e to comply could cause abno mal
ope ation of cont olle .
Use shielded twisted-pai cables and connect the shield to g ound te minal of the cont olle .
Do not modify the cont olle ci cuits. Failu e to comply could cause cont olle damage.
Ensu e all connections a e co ect afte connecting the cont olle with othe cont olle s.

Rubbe g ommets located on conduit box shall be emoved and eplaced with conduit hubs in
the end use installation.

Integ al solid state sho t ci cuit p otection does not p ovide b anch ci cuit p otection. B anch

4.2.2 Main Circuit Wiring
4.2.2.1 PV Input Terminal
Install a DC switch between PV st ing output and PV+/PV- te minal on cont olle . Su ge
p otecto cont olle is also suggested to install.
Connect PV input wi es f om st ing PV+/PV- to DC swtich; DC switch to PV+/PV- te minal of
cont olle .
Ensu e the max. voltage of PV will not ove 750V at any condition, o may damage the
cont olle .
4.2.2.2 Power Output Terminal
Connect AC cont olle output te minals U/T1, V/T2 and W/T3 to loadinput te minals U, V and
W espectively. Ensu e the loadand cont olle te minals a e in same phase sequence o the
loadwill otate eve sely.

Do not connect powe cable to output te minals of the cont olle . Failu e to comply could
cause cont olle damage and a fi e.
4.2.2.4 Ground Terminal
Use g ounding cables of dimensions egulated by elect ical equipment standa d. Sh ink wi ing
distance to p event leakage cu ent esulting unstable elect ical potential at the te minal
distant f om g ounding te minal.
Do not use sha e the same g ounding cable with welding machines o any cont olle equi ing
la ge cu ent. Failu e to comply could cause cont olle o equipment malfunction.
Do not wind the g ounding cable when multiple cont olle s a e installed. Failu e to comply
could cause cont olle o equipment malfunction.
Ensu e the neut al of the input side and cont olle te minal " “ a e g ounded acco ding
to the local elect ician egulations. TN and TT system a e suggested fo the cont olle p ima y
side.
4.2.2.5 Jumper
This cont olle complies with the Eu opean LVD standa d EN 61800-5-1 (2007) educing the
cu ent leakage to below 10mA DC unde testing condition egulated by IEC 60990 (1999).
Follow the inst uctions below to emove the jumpe if an even lowe cu ent leakage to a even
lowe level.
Removing the jumpe may inc ease the signal inte fe ence.
