Quick Installation Guide
Simple Setup
Get the mydlink app on the App
Store or on Google Play. Launch the
app, then Sign In or Create a New
Account.

2Power on the device and wait for
the Status LED to flash orange.
Note: Make sure that your mobile device’s
Bluetooth is on.
3Place your device next to your
mobile device. A prompt will appear
- tap Add Device, then follow the
app instructions.

Cable Ties
Ethernet Cable Waterproong
Thread the Ethernet connector through the
large waterproof connector as shown.
Insert the Ethernet connector into the
Ethernet plug securely.
Thread the Ethernet connector through the
small waterproof connector, with the inner
threads facing towards the RJ-45 connector.
Insert the Ethernet plug into the large
waterproof connector, then twist the large
waterproof connector clockwise to snap it in
place.
This is a backup of your device’s Setup
Code. Please keep it as future reference
for your device.

Mounting
Pole Mounting
Thread the cable ties through
the slots on the base plate.
Make sure the textured side
of the cable ties is facing the
pole to avoid slippage. Then
fasten the plastic ties around
the pole to secure the base
plate.
Align the arrow on the
camera base with the dot
on the base plate and turn
clockwise to secure them
together.
FAQ
What do I do if my device is not working properly?
Reset and reinstall your device. Use a paper clip to
press the recessed Reset button and the LED will turn
solid red. During installation, ensure that:
• Your router is connected to the Internet and Wi-Fi
is enabled
• Your mobile device is connected to your router’s
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is enabled
• Your mydlink device is in range of your Wi-Fi
network
How can I use voice commands to control my
device?
The device will work with both Amazon Alexa and
the Google Assistant. For setup instructions on these
services, visit the following websites:

Why is my microSD card not working/not
supported?
The microSD card must be formatted into the correct
file system (FAT32) before it can be used with this
product. This can be done in the mydlink app by
selecting the Format function in the storage menu
under the device settings.
What is my username and password for setting up
my device with an ONVIF system?
To connect your device to an ONVIF system, key in
“admin”as the username and use the PIN code of your
mydlink device as the password. You can find the PIN
code on your device’s label.
What is Color Night Vision and how does it work?
Color Night Vision is enabled by default and allows you
to see color images while viewing the live feed in low
light scenarios.

To get the most out of your camera’s view
and features, please take the following
placement guidelines into consideration.
Height: Install the camera 2 to 2.5 meters
(6.5 to 8 feet) from the ground. Higher or
lower installation points will greatly decrease
person detection accuracy.
Person Detection: Person detection works
properly when the subject is between 2 to 7
meters (6.5 to 23 feet) away from the camera.
Detection accuracy decreases outside of this
range.

Ethernet Cable Waterproong
Screw the small waterproof connector
clockwise until it is securely tightened onto
the large waterproof connector.
Install the white rubber bushing on the
Ethernet cable as shown.
Push the white rubber bushing all the
way into the large waterproof connector.
Make sure the white rubber bushing is not
protruding outside of the large waterproof
connector.
Place the base plate against
the pole and make sure
the arrow is pointing
upwards.
Wall/ Ceiling Mounting
Stick the alignment sticker
on the location where you
want to mount the camera,
and ensure the holes are
level. Then use a 6 mm drill
bit to drill two 26 mm deep
holes.
 

Hammer in the plastic wall
anchors to support the
screws.
 

Align the arrow on the camera
base with the dot on the base
plate and turn clockwise to
secure them together.
Adjust the camera to your
desired position.
The device can be mounted on a wall or
on the ceiling.
Align the base plate over the
holes and secure it tightly
with screws.
After adjusting the camera
angle, use a screwdriver or
a coin and turn clockwise to
tighten the screw.

網路線防水安裝
如圖所示，將網路線穿過大防水蓋。
將網路線牢固地插入網路線插頭。
將網路線穿過小防水蓋，並使螺紋朝向
網路線頭。
將網路線插頭插入大防水蓋，然後順時
針旋轉大防水蓋以將其卡入到位。
這是設備安裝連結的備份。請妥善保
管，以備將來需要。

束帶在柱子上束緊，
以固定底蓋。

常見問題
我的裝置無法正確的運作。
裝置重開並重新執行安裝，若要重開您的裝置，使
用迴紋針長按重置鈕直到LED燈號亮紅燈。
安裝時，請確認：
•您的路由器已經連接網際網路且Wi-Fi可用。
•您的行動裝置已連接至您路由器提供的Wi-Fi且
已開啟藍牙。
•您的mydlink裝置在您的Wi-Fi訊號範圍內。

式化您的記憶卡。
我要如何設定第三方ONVIF設備上的D-Link裝置使
用者名稱與密碼?
若想將您的設備連接到第三方ONVIF裝置，您可以
使用”admin”作為使用者名稱，並利用mydLink裝
置標籤上找到的PIN碼作為密碼。
微光模式是甚麼?它是如何運作的呢?
微光模式可提供使用者在低光源環境也能看到彩
色的畫面，微光模式預設為開啟狀態。
技術支援
為了充分利用攝影機的視角與功能，提
供您以下安裝建議。
高度：請將攝影機安裝在距離地面2至2.5
米（6.5至8英尺）的位置，過高或過低的
安裝點可能降低人體偵測的準確性。
人體偵測：人像距離攝影機2至7米（6.5
至23英尺）時，人體偵測效果最佳，若
在此範圍之外，準確性將會下降。

網路線防水安裝
順時針轉緊小防水蓋，直到將其牢固地
旋到大防水蓋上。
如圖所示，將白色橡膠套安裝在網路線
上。
將白色橡膠套完全推入大防水蓋。 確保
白色橡膠套沒有露出於大防水蓋外部。
