Description of Parts
Before the First Use of Your Smoothie & Soup Maker
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
Remove the Jug (2) and wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquids.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
Not Dishwasher safe, do not clean any part of your Smoothie and Soup Maker
in a dishwasher. Hand wash only.
WARNING! The blades on this Smoothie and Soup Maker are not
removable from the inside of the jug and are very sharp; extreme
caution should be taken when cleaning the inside of the jug.

Using Your Smoothie and Soup Maker
1.Place the Motor Unit (6) on a solid level surface.
2.Place the Jug (2) onto the Motor Unit (6) and then
add the Lid (1) ensuring that it is locked into place.
The appliance has a safety interlock device that prevents it from being operated
if the Jug (2) is not positioned with the Lid (1) aligned with the handle.

3.Add the ingredients to be blended into the Jug (2), further
ingredients can be added by removing the clear centre cap
of the Lid (1). Replace the centre cap before use.
Ensure not to overfill for smoothies do not exceed the MAX
mark on the Measuring Scale (3) and 1200ml for Soups.
4.Ensure that the Power Control (9) is set to the off position.
5.Plug the unit into the mains supply.
6.Select the desired speed on the Speed Control (7) to blend
the ingredients to the desired consistency. If required the
Speed Control (7) can be adjusted during operation by adjust
clockwise to increase speed or anti-clockwise to decrease
speed.
Ensure that the Lid is fitted at all times when blending and never remove the
lid mid blending cycle.
7.Move the Power Control (9) to the on position and the unit will begin to blend
the ingredients.
Using the Pulse Control
The Pulse Control (8) allows you to quickly blend ingredients,
which is ideal for larger foods such as chunky vegetables. To use
this function simply move the Pulse Control (8) from the default
off position to the on position.

Smoothies
When making smoothies in your Smoothie and Soup maker do not blend for long
periods as the blades create friction and the ingredients will begin to heat.
Typically for most smoothies it should take no longer than 2 minutes to get a
smooth consistency, depending on the ingredients added.
Recipe Ideas –Smoothies
Fruit Smoothie
Ingredients
320g Red Grapes
300g Strawberries
240g Banana (peeled)
260 Ice Cubes
Method
1.Place all ingredients into the Jug in the order listed above and secure the lid.
2.Start the blender on its lowest speed and then gradually increase to its highest
speed.
3.Blend for 1 minute, or until desired consistency is reached. If required use the
temper tool to push the ingredients toward the blades.
4.Serve immediately.
Fruit Salad Smoothie
Ingredients
75g Green Grapes
150g Orange (peeled)
75g Pineapple (peeled)
40g Cucumber (peeled)
1 Carrot (peeled and chopped)
40g Apple
260g Ice Cubes
Method
1. Place all ingredients into the Jug in the order listed above and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender on its lowest speed and then gradually increase to its highest
speed.
3. Blend for 1 minute and 30 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached. If
required use the temper tool to push the ingredients toward the blades.
4. Serve immediately.

Peanut Butter Berry Smoothie
Ingredients
240ml Milk
2 Bananas (peeled)
55g Peanut Butter
275g Raspberries
130g Ice Cubes
Method
1. Place all ingredients into the Jug in the order listed above and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender on its lowest speed and then gradually increase to its highest
speed.
3. Blend for 1 minute, or until desired consistency is reached. If required use the
temper tool to push the ingredients toward the blades.
4. Serve immediately

Soups
When making soups in your Smoothie and Soup maker the blades generate heat
through friction and so will heat the contents of your Smoothie and Soup maker.
Vegetables can be added raw or part cooked depending on the recipe and size of
ingredient.
Ensure that any meat, poultry or fish is cooked prior to being added.
Recipe ideas - Soups
Curried Carrot Soup
Ingredients
370g Small Carrots (peeled and chopped)
40g Small Onion (peeled and roughly chopped)
480ml Vegetable Stock (cooled to room temperature)
120ml Milk
1 Lemon (peeled and sliced)
¾ Teaspoon Curry Powder
½ teaspoon Salt (optional to taste)
½ teaspoon Ground black pepper (optional to taste)
Method
1.Add ingredients to the Jug in the above order listed and secure the lid.
2.Start the blender on its lowest speed and then increase speed to highest speed
gradually.
3.Blend for 8 minutes at the highest speed.
4.Serve immediately.
Sautéing the carrot and onion beforehand will enhance the flavour of your soup
and for stronger ingredients like onion it will soften the flavour strength.
Broccoli & Stilton Soup
Ingredients
360ml Milk
180ml Vegetable Stock (cooled to room temperature)
405g Broccoli Florets
60g Stilton Cheese
½ teaspoon Ground black pepper (optional to taste)
Method
1. Add ingredients to the Jug in the above order listed and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender on its lowest speed and then increase speed to highest speed
gradually.
3. Blend for 8 minutes at the highest speed.
4. Serve immediately.

Thai Pumpkin Soup
Ingredients
60g Small Onion (peeled)
½ tablespoon tomato puree
300g pumpkin (peeled and chopped)
5g Ginger
1 Garlic Clove (peeled)
360ml Vegetable Stock (cooled to room temperature)
240ml Coconut milk
80g Green Chilli
¼ Lemon (peeled)
½ teaspoon Salt (optional to taste)
½ teaspoon Ground black pepper (optional to taste)
Method
1.Sautee onion in a little oil until soft. Add tomato puree, pumpkin, ginger, garlic,
stock and coconut milk. Stir until well mixed and then add to the Jug.
2.Add the chillies and lemon into the jug and secure the lid.
3.Start the blender on its lowest speed and then increase speed to highest speed
gradually.
4.Blend for 6 minutes at the highest speed.
5.Season to taste with salt and pepper.
6.Serve immediately.
Care and Maintenance
Always disconnect the Smoothie and Soup Maker from the mains power supply
before cleaning.
