lot of salt in the air.

of sulfur in the air.
d. Locationssuchasfactorieswherethepowervolt-
age varies a lot.
e. Incars,boats,andothervehicles.
f. Locationssuchaskitchenswhereoilmaysplatter
orwherethereissteamintheair.
g. Locationswhereequipmentproduceselectromag-
neticwaves.
h. Placeswithanacidoralkalinemist.
i. Placeswherefallenleavescanaccumulateor
whereweedscangrow.
• Takesnowprotectionmeasures.Contactyourdealer
forthedetailsofsnowprotectionmeasures,suchas
theuseofasnowprotectionhood.
• Donotattempttodoelectricalworkorgroundingwork
unlessyouarelicensedtodoso.Consultwithyour
dealerforelectricalworkandgroundingwork.
• Payattentiontooperatingsound.Besuretousethe
followingplaces:
a. Placesthatcansufcientlywithstandtheweightof
theairconditionerorheatpumpyetcansuppress
theoperatingsoundandvibrationoftheaircondi-
tionerorheatpump.
b. Placeswherewarmairfromtheairoutletofthe
outdoor unit or the operating sound of the outdoor
unitdoesnotannoyneighbors.
• Makesurethattherearenoobstaclesclosetothe
outdoorunit.Obstaclesclosetotheoutdoorunitmay
droptheperformanceoftheoutdoorunitorincrease
the operating sound of the outdoor unit.
• Consultyourdealeriftheairconditionerorheatpump
in operation generates unusual noise.
• Make sure that the drainpipe is installed properly to
drainwater.Ifnowaterisdischargedfromthedrain-
pipewhiletheairconditionerorheatpumpisinthe
coolingmode,thedrainpipemaybecloggedwithdust
ordirtandwaterleakagefromtheindoorunitmay
occur.Stopoperatingtheairconditionerorheatpump
andcontactyourdealer.
