2 Important information/Safety instructions
2.1 General safety precautions
Warning This appliance can be used by children aged 8
years and above, and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience or knowledge, provided that
they are supervised or have been instructed in
the safe use of the appliance and understand
the hazards involved. Children must not clean
or carry out user maintenance on the appli-
ance except under adult supervision.
Warning Ensure that children do not play with the
product.
Warning The installation must only be carried out by a
qualified installation engineer, following ap-
plicable rules and regulations in addition to
these installation instructions.
Caution Installation and connection should be carried
out in accordance with the instructions, in or-
der to avoid subjecting local residents to noise
disturbance.

Caution The cooling appliance must be mounted
hanging vertically on a wall. that can support
the gross weight of the heating appliance. The
central distance for mounting holes is 530
mm. Pipe installation is carried out according
to the diagrams.

To prevent leaks ensure that there are no
stresses in the connecting pipes!

It is important that the heating and brine cir-
cuits are completely bled after installation.

Bleed valves must be installed where necessa-
ry.
Caution Only spare parts approved by Danfoss Värme-
pumpar may be used for this appliance.

2.2 Electrical connection
Warning Hazardous electrical voltage! The terminal
blocks are live and can cause death through
electric shock. All power supplies must be iso-
lated before electrical installation is started.
The cooling module is connected internally at
the factory, for this reason electrical installa-
tion consists primarily of the connection of
the power supply.
Caution Electrical installation may only be carried out
by an authorized electrician and must follow
applicable local and national regulations.
Caution The installation may only be commissioned if
the heating system, water heater and brine
system have been filled and bled. Otherwise
the circulation pumps can be damaged.

3 Area of use
3.1 Area of use
The passive/active cooling module can be used for cooling requirements greater than what can be obtained
through only passive cooling (free cooling). For cooling requirements at max 20 kW.
The cooling modules make it possible to retain either passive or passive/active cooling from the rock –ground-
water collectors. The distribution system for this can be the radiator system (fan coils) or under floor heating
systems. Cooling starts when the outside temperature exceeds the set value for seasonal stop.

4 Installation

The cooling module must be mounted vertically on a
wall. The central distance between holes is 530 mm.
