> To be used as a protective device against blows or strikes on the toe
region after a postoperative or correction procedure.
Caution
Indications
The product has not been approved for use by OSHA (Occupational
Safety and Health Administration USA). It is not intended as a protective
device in industrial situations. If the product is improperly handled its
function and optimal safety can no longer be guaranteed.
Body Armor® Toe Guard
Toe Protection
The DARCO Body Armor® Toe Guard provides extra protection for the toe
region during the recovery prcess. It works particularly well when k-wires
are present or anytime when accidental contact could cause pain or be
detrimental to the healing process.
1. Loosen ankle strap and forefoot closure on the shoe.
2. Remove black EVA insole of the shoe.
3. Peel away white backer sheet on the underside of the Toe Guard.
4. Place Toe Guard in the shoe so the protector plate sits flush with the
polyboard base of the shoe sole.
5. Press toe region of Toe Guard into the shoe and hold for 10 seconds.
The plate portion of the toe protector should always be flush with the
shoe insole.
6. Place black EVA insole back into the shoe and fit snuggly.
7. The Toe Guard should not move or slide while walking.
8. Re-adjust the ankle strap and forefoot closure for secure fit and desired
comfort.
9. The Toe Guard side wings can be bent/moldet to conform to wider or
more narrow foot sizes.

To clean please use lukewarm water and mild soap if necessary.
Leave it in the open air to dry.
