> Postoperative healing for either soft tissue or bony structure of the heel
> Selective off-loading after fractures
> For the treatment of ulcerations present on the heel area (rear foot

Indications
Your physician has prescribed you a high-quality shoe designed and
constructed for off-loading pressure from the operated part of the foot.
This design permits the quickest possible healing of ulcerations,
surgical procedures, fractures, etc. while still allowing you to maintain
your mobility. Walking with this shoe is more difficult than walking with
conventional footwear; please read the following precautions:
Do not attempt to drive while wearing the shoe. Use extreme caution
when climbing stairs, stepping up onto curbs and walking on uneven
surfaces. Walk more slowly than usual. You are not wearing a normal
street shoe and more clearance is required for the wedge sole.
Recommendation to wear bandages or socks. If the product is improperly
handled its function and optimal safety can no longer be guaranteed.HeelWedge™
Shoe to reduce pressure on the heel
1. Open the shoe (A).
2. Insert the foot into the opened shoe.
3. Make sure that the foot is positioned securely in the shoe.
4. Close the shoe with the hook and loop fasteners (A). So that the fit is
snug, but not too tight.
5. Only roll as far as the inner edges (B) when walking. Rolling as far as the
outermost edges (C) can have a negative effect on the results of surgery.
6. When worn for longer periods, it is recommended that the height of the
other foot is adapted to match. The shoe should not be worn for longer
than 6 weeks.

5 Men sizes:
XS (1 – 2), S (2.5 – 4), M (4.5 – 7), L (7.5 – 10), XL (10.5 – 13)

Cleaning instructions
Hand washing:
> When the shoe is slightly dirty, clean it with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
> The shoe should not be tumble dried or dried using heat. Allow the shoe
to air dry at moderate temperatures.
