Yield: See attached tables for card yields. Listed yields are approximate number of cards/images that can
be produced per supply unit. Actual yields may vary due to number of printer initializations, user loading
procedures, and other waste factors.

Humidity: 40 – 60% RH, non-condensing
Sunlight: No direct exposure to sunlight
AVAILABILITY:
•Monochrome ribbons for use in SP Series card printers are available in ribbon kits which contain one
print ribbon, one adhesive cleaning sleeve, and one isopropanol cleaning card.
•Some ribbons and ribbon kits available in case quantities. Contact your Datacard sales representative
for order details.
•All SP Series ribbons provided on the Datacard distinctive blue cores with platinum flecks
®
.
USAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
•Performing cleaning cycles at regular intervals can help extend the life of a printhead as well as help
ensure uninterrupted production of printed cards. Refer to your printer users guide for information on
cleaning interval and process.
•For optimum image quality, only use printers and printheads that are recommended for use with
monochrome ribbons.
•Datacard monochrome ribbons for use in SP Series card printers enable the ribbon-saver feature.
Depending on the card design, this can double the standard yield of a Datacard monochrome ribbon.
