1 Fix one of the afterburner nozzle pieces (P144) onto the afterburner ducting (P138) with an FP screw.

2 Continue to ﬁt the rest of the afterburner nozzle parts to the duct.

At this point in the assembly, you will need parts P138 and P144, as

well as FP screws.

Stage 47: Starboard

1 For this stage, you will need the parts from this stage

as well as the assemblies from Stages 45 and 46.

Insert the intake fan (P147) into the intake

compressor (P148), ﬁtting the pin of the fan into the

hole in the centre of the compressor. Fix in place

with GP screw, as indicated by the arrow.

2 Insert the afterburner duct (Stage 46) inside the

nozzle ﬂaps and into the ﬂange (Stage 45).

Assembly

3 Place the afterburner (P131) onto the afterburner

duct. Secure it in place with a GP screw. 4 Secure the afterburner (P109) to the ﬂange with three

FP screws, as shown.

1 Retrieve the starboard engine assembly from the previous stage. Install gearbox P155 onto the starboard engine

half. Turn the assembly over and secure the gearbox from inside the engine with two GP screws.

together with a GP screw.
