SOFIA SHOWER PANEL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for choosing the Decina SOFIA Shower Panel. With multiple shower functions & body spray massage features,
this all-in-one versatile shower panel system, comes pre-assembled & water tested, for easy installation.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• THIS SHOWER PANEL IS DESIGNED FOR FLAT WALL MOUNTING ONLY!
• We recommend that the shower panel’s mounting brackets are secured into a wall stud. If unable to, prior to installation make
sure that wall can support a load of 12kg.
• Do not drop the back flow filters on both ends of the control valve when you remove the cap.
• Rinse all debris from the water supply system, otherwise the cartridge inside the thermostat valve will be damaged.
• The HOT and COLD water hoses are connected with ½” BSP fittings. The male connector on the wall must be running parallel
to the wall, a 90° elbow may be required to achieve this.
• Before beginning installation, please inspect your shower panel to ensure there is no damage. If you find any abnormality,
please immediately return the product with all its original packaging to your licensed dealer.
• Please leave your Shower Panel in its original packaging until you are ready for the installation.
INSTALLATION
* PRIOR TO INSTALLATION MAKE SURE YOUR HOT & COLD WATER VALVES ARE CLOSED
STEP 1: REMOVE & INSPECT THE SHOWER PANEL
* THE IDEAL DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU & THE RAINFALL SHOWER IS 20CM
STEP 2: INSTALLATION OF YOUR SHOWER PANEL TO THE WALL
1. To attach the mounting
brackets to the wall, measure
the distance between the two
supports on the back of the
shower panel, this should be
roughly 915mm.
For the ideal mounting
position refer to the
technical drawings on the
opposite page>>
4. Connect the HOT and COLD
water pipes and thoroughly
test for any leaks.
2. Drill holes in the wall for
the two brackets according to
the distance obtained in the
step before.
3. Insert the plastic pegs and
screw them into the wall,
while holding the bracket in
place. Use a level to ensure
the brackets are straight.
Avoid over tightening the
screws.
5. Mount the shower
panel onto the wall brackets,
ensuring they are resting in
the correct positions on the
back of the panel. Once the
panel is secure and in place
run a line of silicone down
each side of the panel.
6. Assemble the hand shower
and attach it to the shower
panel.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Rinse the feeding pipes thoroughly before installing the mixer, so they are free of any dirt or residue.
• To maintain your Decina shower panel we recommend cleaning carefully & regularly using a mild household detergent or
warm, soapy water with a soft cloth. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the shower panel.
• Rinse thoroughly after each use & after cleaning to remove any soap residue, which can damage the panel.
• Do not use harsh abrasive or chemical cleaners or abrasive cleaning cloths or pads.
• The spray channels in the waterfall shower are self-cleaning. If there is any scale deposits lightly run water through the
channels & using your finger & a sponge, gently, rub the spray channel.
• Clean the shower panel carefully; any damage caused by incorrect cleaning & maintenance is not covered by warranty.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
All Decina products are manufactured to the highest standards and guaranteed to be free of defects, subject to the conditions outlined
below. In addition to the statutory rights given under Australian Consumer Law, Decina offers the following extended warranty periods
from the date of purchase or handover.
The Decina warranty is only applicable when the product has been installed by a qualified tradesman, in full accordance with the
installation instructions and statutory requirements. The warranty specifically EXCLUDES damages discovered AFTER installation.
Decina’s responsibility for claims relating to impact damage ceases within 48 hours after delivery to the Decina re-seller’s store.
The extended warranties only apply to faults or defects in the product arisen solely from faulty materials or workmanship in the
products and does not apply to other defects for example from; damage, abuse, neglect or changes to the product supplied.
The warranty only extends to the supply of a replacement product or credit to the value of the purchase and excludes consequential
damage ensuing from the product application or use. The responsibility for the removal and replacement of the product is with the
installer and/or owner. Where the manufacturer “Decina” accepts that the product is at fault, the maximum contribution to the removal
and replacement costs will be $500.
Repairs of the Products other than by a Decina accredited or licensed service agent or technician are not covered.
In addition to this extended warranty, certain legislation (including the ACL) may give you certain rights which cannot be excluded,
restricted or modified, this extended warranty must be read subject to such legislation and nothing in this warranty has the effect of
excluding, restricting or modifying those rights.
To make a warranty claim, please visit the Decina website www.decina.com.au/warranty-claim/ or email [email protected]om.au and
attach the following documentation:
• Proof of purchase (original invoice from the supplier)
• Details of the warranty claim including the date of installation, installer’s details and head contractors
• Your contact details
If the Product has not been installed, please contact Decina to inspect the Product. If the claim is accepted, the Product can be
returned or exchanged. Note: The extended warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Decina reserves
the right to charge a service fee for any staff called to attend premises where products have been installed and the warranty claim
is not authorized.
Parts subjects to wear and tear i.e. seals and rubbers are not covered by Warranty.
