1. Disassembly Procedures

Turn off the monitor.

Place the monitor on a soft cloth or
cushion.
Press and hold the stand release button
at the back of the display.
Lift the stand assembly up and away
from the monitor.

Unlock 4 screws on Rear Cover
( crew Torque: 8.5±1.0kgf)

Follow the sequence to disassemble
Rear Cover from the monitor

Tear off all adhesive tapes from
backlight wire and PK wire

Unlock 6 PK screws
Pull out PK wire from I/F BD
Disassemble PK from Middle Frame
( crew Torque: 4~6kgf)

Pull out CTRL FFC from I/F BD
Pull out backlight wire from P BD and
Panel
Unlock 4 Location screws
Tear off the yellow tape
( crew Torque: 6~7kgf)

Unlock 6 “A Y DECO” screws
( crew Torque: 1.5~2.5kgf)

Unlock 11 MF screws
( crew Torque: 4~5kgf)

Pull out FFC eDP from Panel to take off
Main HD from Panel

Disassemble Middle Frame and “A Y
DECO” from panel

Unlock 2 screws on CTRL BD
( crew Torque: 1.5~2.5kgf)

Tear off CTRL BD FFC from Middle
Frame

Disassemble CTRL BD FFC from CTRL

Unlock 8 PCBA screws
Disassemble I/F BD & P BD from

( crew Torque: 6~7kgf)

Pull out FFC eDP from the I/F BD

Remove electrolyte capacitors (red mark) from printed circuit boards
20-1 Cut the glue between bulk cap. and PCB with a knife

20-2 Ensure cutting path within the glue, don’t touch bulk cap. or PCB
20-3 Take out bulk cap. pin solder with soldering iron and absorber
20-4 Lift the bulk cap. up and away from the PCB
