This award-winning server line now has Intel’s dual core technology for more processing performance
than ever before. The PowerEdge SC430 has multiple processor options. Dual core technology
combines two processing units into a single processor for dramatic increases in performance. Intel®
Pentium®4 processors and Celeron processors provide alternative options for performance and value.
With so many options, customers are able to select the power that fits within their budget and best
serves their needs. This server delivers exceptional value for small businesses replacing a peer-to-peer
network or an old server.
The PowerEdge SC430 features Microsoft®Small Business Server 2003, designed to help
small businesses take advantage of the Internet, strengthen customer relationships and improve
employee productivity. And with additional operating system choices, the server can help customers
easily transition from bottle-neck prone peer-to-peer networks to a client-server environment
without frustration.
Flexibility
The PowerEdge SC430 is designed to give small businesses the flexibility necessary to stay
competitive. With 50% more storage capacity and 50% more high performance networking slots than
the previous generation Dell server, the SC430 can scale with the growing needs of the business. Its
memory, I/O technology and storage capacity make the PowerEdge SC 430 an ideal option for small
