UNOac A8 LCD Display Controller
Installation guide
A8 Display Controller is suitable for UNOac (air conditioning unit) controlling. It use microcomputer to
control the wafer and can detect the indoor temperature through the internal sensor of the controller.
Switching manually or automatically to switch the high, medium and low wind speeds to achieve the
effect of indoor cooling and heating.
Installation must be performed by a dealer or installation contractor. Please note that improper
installation may cause malfunction or accident.
Warning
•Please strictly follow the wiring diagram for installation.
•Please install it exactly according to the installation dimension.
•Do not pull the cable or disassemble the casing, otherwise it will cause damage.
•Be careful not to apply pressure to the LCD screen or scratch the LCD surface during the
installation process, otherwise it will cause damage.
•Be careful not to touch the components of the board during the installation process.

•Do not let dust or construction soil to run in, otherwise it will easily cause damage.

User mode
•On/Off: Press to turn on the unit and turn it off by same press.
•Speed setting: Under the on state of the unit, press and then fan speed of the unit will change
circularly as shown.
•Mode setting: Under the on state of the unit, press to switch the operation modes.
•Temperature setting: Short press or to increase or decrease temperature.
Professional mode
Temperature correction: If the temperature is not accurate, you can operate as follows.
1. Under the off state, press button simultaneously for 3 seconds, will show (ROOM
won’t show)
2. Press the up and down triangle keys to adjust to the correct temperature value, it will automatically
confirm after 6 seconds.

Wall control installation
1Check the accessories required for
installation. 2Use a plastic crowbar to insert the
separation port and separate the panel
from the base.
3Remove the wiring terminals form the
terminal cover. 4Connect the wiring according to the
wiring diagram. (Note: stripping length
needs to be between 5~8mm)
5Plate and mount this plate to 86 box
using screws. (Note: please use the
gradienter for calibration) 6Reinstall the wiring terminals in its
correct locations. Reinstall the front
module.
7Power-on test after installation.

Trouble description Parts to be checked
Panel not working
•Check if the LN power supply is normal and the wiring is reliable.
•Check if the switch button is flexible and effective.
•Check if the cable between the power supply board and the LCD panel
inserted properly and securely.
•Replace the rear cover power board first, confirm the function.
LED panel
display abnormal
•When the plastic case is deformed during installation, please loosen
some fixing screws before checking.
Remote control
transmission abnormal
•Check if the cable between the power supply board and the LCD panel
inserted properly and securely.
•Replace the cable and try again.
•Replace the rear cover power board first, confirm the function.
Temperature
display abnormal •Temperature is not corrected, temperature is corrected by panel.
Warning •firmly connect the transmission cable between the remote control and the terminal equipment board
(J26), the cross-sectional area of the wire is AWG 16-28 or 0.25mm2-１.5mm2. Non-polar .
•The terminal device circuit board terminal torque is 0.25Nm maximum, exceeding limits may cause
damage.
•Input terminal supports standard transmission cable with cross-section 0.25mm2, up to 2 x 0.75mm2。
If the system does not properly operate except in the aforementioned cases or the aforementioned
malfunctions are evident, investigate the system according to the following procedures.
Remark:
1. When UNOsense and the wired controller are operating on the same device, UNOsense control takes precedence.
The control time of the wired controller is an hour each time. UNOsense will resume automatic control after an
hour, manual control can be performed by pressing the wired control switch.
2. The wired controller is a one-way transmission and cannot feedback signals from the device to the LCD panel.
When it is controlled together with UNOsense, the LCD display may not match the actual operating status of the
device. Please restart the wired controller to restore normal operation.
