11. GENERAL ADJUSTMENTS
SP19093_REV0
V150 CYLINDER HEIGHT OF CUT ADJUSTMENT
WARNING:- Always switch the machine o before
adjusng the height of cut. Failure to do this may result
in serious injury.
Seng for Height of Cut:
The length of grass aer cung depends on the seng of the front roller
in relaon to the main frame of the machine.
To Adjust:
Turning the height of cut adjuster raises and lowers the front roller on
the machine. It uses a click system to allow easy adjustment of the front
roller poson. Each click represents a change of 0.5mm (0.020”). The
roller is set to be equal on leaving the factory so when the arrows point
forward on both decals the roller is level.
To accurately check the height of cut and that the machine is level on dedicated cylinder machines, the seng bar can be used
(229524). Place the bar between the front and rear rollers, resng the underside of the bolt head on the lip of the shear blade.
XX
XX
XX
XX
A ruler can be used to set the seng bar to the correct posion. You are
measuring the distance between the bar and the underside of the set
screw. (‘XX’ in the image below)
Remember height of cut is aected by moisture of turf, weight of
machine and the thatch density. Dierent models of machine cut at
dierent heights when set to the same posion with the seng bar.
We suggest you set the machine slightly above your planned height and
then come down in height by trial.
Always check height of cut/operaon with the seng bar provided.
Check in two posions i.e. one at either end of the cylinder. Failure to
do this could result in an uneven cut.
XX
