complies with the essential safety requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Directive
2014/30/EU on electromagnetic compatibility, Directive 2011/65/EU - ROHS - on the restriction of the use
of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
Compliance has been verified according to the requirements of standards or normative documents:

INFORMATIVE SECTION
1.1
PREFACE
Dear Customer
We thank you for preferring DEPURECO and congratulate you for choosing a DEPURECO M70 OIL series
vacuum cleaner.
We have prepared this manual to enable you to fully appreciate the quality of this machine.
We recommend that you read it in its entirety before you approach its use for the first time.
It contains important information, tips and warnings for the use of the vacuum cleaner that will help you take
full advantage of the technical qualities of your machine.
It is recommended that you carefully read the messages, warnings and directions, preceded by the symbols:
for people's safety;
For the integrity of the vacuum cleaner;
For the preservation of the environment.

This vacuum cleaner is designed to suck up oils, cooled liquids, emulsions and swarf and to return the
filtered liquids back into the machine tool. It is equipped with an electrically operated level sensor that stops
suction when the liquid level reaches the preset maximum limit, and (where provided) an internal pump for
ejecting the sucked liquids.
The vacuum cleaner is mounted on sturdy wheels, one of which is equipped with a brake to lock it in place at
the workplace.
This manual describes the following models:

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with the following filters:

This manual provides you with all the information you need to use and maintain your vacuum cleaner.
This specific model has undergone rigorous testing to ensure maximum reliability; its smooth operation and
longevity will depend on good maintenance and careful use.
This manual is an integral part of the vacuum cleaner and should accompany it, until its demolition.
In case of loss or damage, a replacement copy should be requested from DEPURECO INDUSTRIAL
VACUUMS S.r.l. (hereafter referred to simply as DEPURECO).
The technical information contained in this manual is the property of DEPURECO and must be considered
confidential in nature.
Reproduction, even in part, of the graphic design, text and illustrations is prohibited by law.
Some details depicted in the illustrations in this manual may differ from those in your vacuum cleaner, as
some component may have been removed in order to ensure maximum clarity of the illustrations.
This manual, for ease of reference, is divided into sections identifiable by specific graphic symbolism
The topics covered in this manual, are those expressly required by the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and
the technical data given are derived from the technical file filed at DEPURECO.

In relation to Regulation 1907/2006/EC (REACH), DEPURECO declares that its products do not contain any
of the substances, so-called substances of very high concern - SVHC i.e. Substances of Very High Concern
- listed in the Candidate List.
This manual should be kept in a place accessible to all personnel responsible for the operation and
maintenance of the vacuum cleaner.
For any dispute, the Court of Turin (Italy) shall have jurisdiction.
The manual must accompany the vacuum cleaner in case of resale!

manufacturer or dealer.

1.6
INTENDED USES
These vacuum cleaners are constructed and designed in accordance with Directive 2006/42/EC (Machinery
Directive) for professional industrial use only; however, for purposes other than normal domestic use.
This model of vacuum cleaner is designed, constructed and protected for the exclusive professional
industrial use of vacuuming dry and/or wet, non-flammable and non-harmful dust and chips.
The vacuum cleaner is designed to be used by a single operator.
A different use is considered IMPROPER

PERMITTED ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
To ensure proper operation, the vacuum cleaner must be located away from the weather (rain, hail, snow,
fog, suspended dust, etc.) with an ambient temperature between 5° and 45°C and humidity not exceeding
70%.
The working environment must be clean, sufficiently bright and in the absence of a potentially explosive
atmosphere.

NOISE LEVEL
Phonometric tests carried out on this specific vacuum cleaner model show a sound pressure level of
M70 OIL

Caution.
For sound pressure levels above 85 dB(A), workers exposed to must be protected by
appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as approved individual
hearing protectors.
For such conditions, it is necessary to provide workers with training and information
on the risks of noise exposure

WARRANTY
DEPURECO guarantees this vacuum cleaner model for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, indicated on
the fiscal document when the product is delivered.
The warranty shall be void if the vacuum cleaner has been repaired by unauthorized third parties or if equipment,
accessories or components not supplied or authorized by DEPURECO or for which the serial number is found to have
been removed (during the warranty period) are used.
DEPURECO agrees to repair or replace free of charge those parts or components that within the warranty period prove
to be defective from manufacture.
The repair is carried out exclusively at our headquarters or at the Service Center indicated by us and must be received
carriage paid (transportation costs to be paid by the user, unless otherwise agreed).
The warranty does not cover the cleaning of working parts.
The purchase tax document must be shown to the authorized technical personnel performing the repair or must
accompany the vacuum cleaner in shipment.
Defects not clearly attributed to material or manufacture will be examined exclusively at our office or at the Technical
Service Center indicated by us.
Should the claim prove to be unjustified, all costs of repair and/or replacement of parts, will be charged to the purchaser.
However, the following are excluded from the warranty: accidental damage due to transportation, carelessness or
inadequate treatment, improper use, not in accordance with the warnings given in this booklet, or derived from
phenomena not dependent on the normal use/operation of the vacuum cleaner.
DEPURECO declines any responsibility for any damage to persons or property, caused by bad or imperfect use of the
vacuum cleaner.
For any dispute, the Court of Turin (Italy) is competent.

SAFETY SECTION
2.1
SAFETY INFORMATIONS
Pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08 and subsequent additions and amendments, the
Safety Officer is obliged to educate, inform and train workers on the risks associated with
the use of the vacuum cleaner so that they are able to protect their own and others' safety.
Failure to observe basic safety rules or precautions, could result in accidents during the use, maintenance
and repair of the vacuum cleaner. An accident can often be avoided by recognizing potential dangerous
situations before they occur. Proper training is a prerequisite for this.
Under no circumstances can DEPURECO be held responsible for accidents or damage resulting from the
use of the vacuum cleaner by personnel who have not been adequately trained or who have misused it, as
well as from failure to comply, even partially, with the accident prevention regulations and intervention
procedures contained in this manual.
Safety precautions and warnings are given in this manual and on the product itself.
Failure to heed these warning messages can result in accidents with serious consequences for oneself and
others.
Safety messages are highlighted with the following symbology:

DEPURECO carefully designs and manufactures the equipment and its accessories, identifying and
compensating for all possible risks associated with its use. In the event that tools, procedures, working
methods or techniques are used, which are not explicitly provided for by DEPURECO, it will be necessary to
ascertain in advance, that there are no dangers to oneself and others, with DEPURECO's responsibility
remaining excluded in any case.

2.2
SAFETY PRESCRIPTIONS
Caution!
The directions below play an important role in completely preserving you from all the
hazards you may incur when operating the vacuum cleaner. However, they cannot be
divorced from the skill and common sense of the operator as an overall framework for
careful accident prevention.
Additional safety requirements specific to different operations are listed in each
section.
CAUTION!
• The use of this vacuum cleaner is allowed for adult, properly trained persons.
• This vacuum cleaner is suitable for industrial use, for example: factories, warehouses, workshops.
• Make the electrical connection to an efficiently grounded network.
• This vacuum cleaner is not intended for use in corrosive or explosive environments.
• Keep the vacuum cleaner clean of foreign materials such as debris, oil, tools and other objects that
could damage operation and cause personal injury.
• Avoid using flammable or toxic solvents such as gasoline, benzene, ether and alcohol for cleaning.
• Avoid prolonged contact with solvents and inhalation of their vapors.
• Avoid use near open flames or heat sources; ensure adequate ventilation.
• Never use the vacuum cleaner without the mist filter.
• Do not vacuum lit cigarette butts: you may ignite the safety filter.
• Do not vacuum gasoline or generally flammable liquids.
• Make sure that all guards and protections are in place and that all safety devices are present and
efficient.

• Do not use the vacuum cleaner on uneven or sloping surfaces
• Do not wear loose or dangling garments such as ties, scarves, torn clothing that may snag or be
caught by the vacuum cleaner.
• Do not move the vacuum cleaner by pulling it by the power cord
• Extension lines, plug-in connection devices and adapters are not allowed.
• Do not remove the hopper cover when the vacuum cleaner is in operation
• It is forbidden to climb on the vacuum cleaner.
• Do not touch electrical wires, switches, buttons, etc. with wet hands.
• Check the integrity of the power cord periodically.
• When using the industrial vacuum cleaner, some components (motor terminal board, motor body in
particular) may reach high temperatures.
• During operations to restore the original working conditions, the personnel in charge must verify that
at the end of the operating procedure, the normal safe operating conditions of the vacuum cleaner
and in particular the safety devices and protective guards affected by the operation are again
guaranteed.
• In case the Customer installs on the vacuum cleaner a tool not supplied by DEPURECO, it is
necessary to verify that the safety conditions, required by the Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE, are
maintained and in any case DEPURECO does not take responsibility for any inconvenience resulting
from the use of such part.
• Structural damage, modifications, alterations or improper repair may change the protective
capabilities of the vacuum cleaner thus nullifying this certification and excluding any liability on the
part of DEPURECO.
• This manual should always be at hand for reference on the intended operating cycle and whenever
in doubt.
• If it is lost or damaged, a replacement copy should be requested from DEPURECO.
WARNING.
This vacuum cleaner may contain dust harmful to health.
Chamber emptying procedures and maintenance should be performed only by trained
personnel wearing proper protective equipment.
Never operate the vacuum cleaner without a complete filtration system.
This manual should always be available for reference on the intended operating cycle and
whenever in doubt.
If it is lost or damaged, a replacement copy should be requested from DEPURECO.
