DESCRIPTION OF CONTROL
Thesingleelectroniccontrolunitcontrolsallcoincounting,timing,temperaturecontroland
displayingofinformationforbothtumblers.
Eachdigital display showsvend price whenits particular tumbleris waiting forcoins to be
inserted.Whenatumbler is in use,thedisplay shows the number ofminutesremaining to be
usedonthattumbler.
Thesmallgreen light to theleftof the displays flashestoindicate that money hasbeenadded
tothecoin acceptor. The flashing stopswhenthecustomercreditsthecoinsto one tumbler or
theotherbytouchingastartbuttonortemperatureselectionbuttonfortheappropriatetumbler.
Atthis time thepurchased time isreflected by thedigitaldisplay.
Thethreetemperatureselectionbuttons for each tumbler also haveindicatorlightstoindicate
whichselectionof temperature has beenmade.Attheend of the cycle,the digitaldisplay
flashesuntilthe operator opens thedoorto remove his load.
Temperature readout for eachtumblerisavailable by pressing thetemperaturethat is in use
alongwiththestartbuttonforthattumbler.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Loadclothes into the tumblerandclose the door.
2.Deposit the vend pricethat is shownin the display. Choosethe desired temperature for the
tumblertobeusedandthenpushthestartbutton.
3.Additionaltime may be purchased andis added to the displayedtime by touching the start
buttonortemperatureselectionbutton.
Characteristics of running dryer:
Temperatureselectionmaybechangedatanytimewiththedryerrunning.
Runningtimemay be extended any timethattime is showing onthedisplay even if theadded
amountislessthan the original vend price.
PROGRAMMED DATA:
Adjustableparametersarevendprice, temperatures, and cool-down times. Hoursrunand
moneycountinformation can be displayedandthese registers are resettabletozero.
Therearesixteen programming steps. Thesesixteensteps are: (all temperaturesare degrees
Fahrenheit).

PROGRAMMING SWITCH

CHANGING PROGRAMMED DATA : ENTERING PROGRAM MODE
Thecontrollerisput into the programming modebyopening both dryer doors andpushingthe
programswitch(shownin a previous pictures)onthe back of the controllercircuitboard. The
switchisaccessedbyunlocking the controller and slidingitoutjustenough to reach the switch.
PROGRAMMING
Theupperdisplayshows the setting foreachstep of the program asyougo through the list.
Thelowerdisplay gives the numberofthe program step asgiven on the previousprogram
stepchart(00-16).
Thelower “Hot switch” willadvancethecontroller through the seventeen steps which can be
observedor altered. Each stepcan be identifiedby the stepnumber in thelower display.
Theupper and lower“Start switches” increaseand decrease thevalues in the upperdisplay
bytheincrementsgivenintheprogram step chart.
Thelower “Perm press” switch willreturn the value for thestep being displayed to theoriginal
valuegivenontheprogram step chart. Note: For thehourmeterand the money audit steps this
valueiszero.
EXITING PROGRAM MODE
Thecontrollerremainsintheprogrammingmodeuntiloneof the following happens:
1.The mode switch is pushed again.
2.Thesixteenth and last stepofthe programming sequence iscompleted
(first step is 00, last step is 16) and the step switch is pushed following this step.
3.Programmingis stopped for approximatelyone minute.
4.The dryer doors areclosed.
PROGRAMMING EXAMPLE :
Foran example we willchange the vendprice from $.25 to$.50.
STEP 1.Open upper and lowerloading doors.
2.Unlockthecontroltrayandcarefully slide it about 3 inchesoutofthemachine.
Presstheprogram switch behindthe vertical portion ofthe circuit board. Replaceand
relockthecontrol tray in itsoriginal position.
3.Consultprogram chart to findvendprice as step 09.Push lower “Hot” buttonto
advancethroughstepsuntil09 is displayed inlowerdisplay.Current vend price
(25in this case) will bedisplayed in upper window.
4.Push upper start buttonto increase priceby increments of 5until 50 isreached and
showsintheupperdisplay.
NOTE: To make any change it is necessary after changing the value to
press the lower “Hot” and advance one more step in order for the new
value to be entered into the computer memory.
5.Exittheprogrammodeby any of the methods previouslymentioned.
6.Thedisplaysshould now show “50”asthe price to startthemachine.
