Please read the operating instruction carefully and observe the notes given.
Use these operating instructions to familiarise yourself with the product, the
proper use and the safety instructions. Keep these operating instructions in a
safe place for future uses.
For safety reasons, children and young people under the age of 16, as well
as people not familiar with these operating instructions, may not use this
product. Persons with reduced physical or mental abilities may use the
product only if they are supervised or instructed by a responsible person.

The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded)

1.Work area safety
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence
of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions
can cause you to lose control.
2.Electrical safety
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do
not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodied plugs
and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
earthed or grounded.
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool
will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

3.Personal safety
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power
tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol
or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment
such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for
appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the o-position before connecting
to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or energizing power tools that have
the switch on invites accidents.
Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a
key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities,
ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-
related hazards.
4.Power tool use and care
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct
power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and o. Any power tool that
cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power
tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,breakage
of parts and any other condition that may aect the power tool’s operation. If damaged,
have the power tool repaired beforeuse. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the
power tool for operations dierent from those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
5) Service
Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

5. BEFORE USE
• Always check that the supply voltage is the same as the voltage indicated on the nameplate of the
tool (tools with a rating of 230V or 240V can also be connected to a 220V supply)
• Always mount auxiliary handle; never use the tool without it
• Dust from material such as paint containing lead, some wood species, minerals and metal may
be harmful (contact with or inhalation of the dust may cause allergic reactions and/or respiratory
diseases to the operator or bystanders); wear a dust mask and work with a dust extraction device
when connectable.
• Certain kinds of dust are classied as carcinogenic (such as oak and beech dust) especially in
conjunction with additives for wood conditioning; wear a dust mask and work with a dust
extraction device whenconnectable
• Follow the dust-related national requirements for the materials you want to work with
• Secure the workpiece (a workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held more
securely thanby hand)
• Do not clamp the tool in a vice.
When working, always hold the tool rmly with both hands and take a secure stance
• Always keep the cord away from moving parts of the tool; direct the cord to the rear, away from
the tool
• If the cord is damaged or cut through while working, do not touch the cord, but immediately
disconnect the plug
• Never use the tool when cord is damaged; have it replaced by a qualied person
• In case of electrical or mechanical malfunction, immediately switch off the tool and disconnect
the plug
• In case of current interruption or when the plug is accidentally pulled out, release switch in
order to prevent uncontrolled restarting

7. MAINTENANCE

Warning! Always remove the plug from the socket before servicing,
cleaning or storage.
• Your power tool requires no additional lubrication or maintenance. Always store your power tool
in a dry place.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• If a fault can not be rectied, return the polisher to an authorized dealer for repair.
Cleaning
• Keep the safety devices, ventilation slots and Motor housing as free of dirt and dust as possible.
Clean the unit by rubbing it with a clean cloth or blow it clean using low-pressure compressed air.
• We recommend that you always clean the unit immediately after using it.
• Clean the unit regularly by rubbing it with a damp cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use cleaners
or solvents; these will attack the plastic parts in the unit. You must also ensure that water cannot
get into the inside of the unit.
Carbon brushes
• If excessive sparking occurs you must have the carbon brushes checked by a qualied electrician.
• Attention! Only a qualied electrician is allowed to change the brushes.

9. DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
10. WARRANTY
Do not dispose of in general household waste. Instead dispose of in an environmental
friendly way, contact your local recycling center of council for advice. Please take the
care of the environment very seriously.
1. The products are designed to highest DIY quality standards. We oer a 24-month
warranty for its products, from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to all material and
manufacturing defects which may arise. Further claims of any nature, whether direct or
indirect, with regard to persons and/or materials, are not possible.
2. In the event of a problem or defect, you should first always consult your dealer. In
most cases, the dealer will be able to solve the problem or correct the defect.
3. Repairs or the replacement of parts will not extend the original warranty period.
4. Defects which have arisen as a result of improper use or wear are not covered by the warranty.
Amongst other things, this relates to switches, protective circuit switches and motors, in the
event of wear.
5. Your claim upon the warranty can only be processed if:
• Proof of the purchase date can be provided in the form of a receipt
• No repairs and/or replacements have been carried out by third parties
• The appliance has not been subjected to improper use (overloading of the machine or fitting
non-approved accessories).
•There is no damage caused by external influences or foreign bodies such as sand or stones.
• There is no damage caused by non-observance of the safety instructions and the instructions
for use.
6. The warranty stipulations apply in combination with our terms of sale and delivery.
7. Faulty tools to be returned to via your dealer will be collected by as long as the product is
properly packaged. If faulty goods are sent directly to by the consumer, we will only be able to
process these goods if the consumer pays the shipping costs.
8. Products which are delivered in a poorly packaged condition will not be accepted.
