Overview
DI-28SS is a microprocessor chip good for all kinds of weighing application for Bench
Scale , Floor Scale and Platform Scale . It is very high accuracy and use re-charge
battery operate up to 120hrs . It is a new design for weighing indicator with build–in
series output RS-232c.
Features :
1. Accuracy class：C-III.
2. A/D conversion speed：20 times/second.
3. Internal resolution 1/ 300,000.
4. Display resolution ：1/1000～1/30,000 division.
5. Non linearity：＜0.016％F.S.
6. Rated Output：0~20mV.
7. Excitation Voltage：＋DC5V，Analog (up to 4 x 350Ωload cell) .
8. Power supply：DC6V/4Ah re-charge battery or AC230V power supply.
9. Display：6 digits LED display and height 25mm LED.
10.LED indicate ：G.W., N.W., tare, zero, ct, oz, lb, kg.
11.Power consumption：1W.
12.Operating temperature：0 ~ 40 .

1. When turn to Red LED show battery is
LOW .
2. When turn to Green LED show battery is
full .
HI Over Limit The weight is over the preset value.
OK Pass Limit The weight is between Hi & Lo preset value.
LO Low limit The weight is under the preset value.

Switch bottom function :
1. 【I】：Switches Power On / Off.
i. Press【I】once, the display show a self-test and come to Zero on
the screen. Each LED will display 0 to 9 in sequence during the
self-test.
ii. Press and hold【I 】for 3.0 second, the display will shut down
automatically.
2. 【T】：Place the container on the platter .Press 【T 】,the weight
of the container will be subtracted and “ NET “ & “ 0 “ will appear .
3. 【O 】：Re-zero the weight and display show zero.
4. 【M】：Press【M】to choose the unit weight and display will show :
Kg, lb, oz and ct.
5. 【】：Press 【】the display shown number of times weighed
in “ n x x ” and after to print out accumulated total.
i. To clear or reset the accumulated total , press【O】once.
【】：Press 【】to print current weight and the weight will be
added to the accumulated total.
ii. To clear or reset the accumulated totals, press 【O 】.
Print format:
When printing , pressing 【】each time will print out the current sequence of the
current weight. Upon pressing 【】the accumulated total will be print out.
Example : print out format is as follow: -

Function Setting :
Put the Cal JP "OFF" position ( Short jumper off ) :
1. Press【T 】1.5 seconds, the display show " OFF × × ", mean is auto power off
function : 3 minute - 30 minute and 0 (always ON) . Press【】to choose 3,10,15
and 30, for automatically power off .
2. Press【M 】the display show : " bp On " or " bp OFF " . Press 【】
to choose On or OFF for buzzer sound or not sound.
3. Press 【M 】the display show : " L XX. X " . Press【】【 】, to select
a new value for weight under the limit ( LO ).
4. Press 【M 】the display show " 0 XX. X " . Press【】【 】, to select a
new value for weight between the HI & LO limit ( OK ).
5. Press 【M】the display show "H XX. X " . Press【】【 】, to select
a new value for weight over the limit ( HI ).
6. Press 【M】the display show "08.09.10 ". Mean is year / month / day.
08 = year , 09 = month , 10 = day . Press【】【 】, to select the value.
7. Press 【M】the display show "12.34.56 ". Mean is hour / minute / second.
12 = hours , 34 = minutes , 56 = second. Press【】【 】, to select the value.
8. Press【M 】return to normal display weight.
Error Messages :
Display Possible Cause Solution
Press "POWER" no
display.
The 230V/AC power supply not
working or Re-chargeable
battery no voltage.
Check the power supply or
battery and power switch.
One section of LED
display no light
The LED display is not good in

To replace LED display

Operation Mode
Open the casing , switch the jumper ( JP1 ) to “ OFF ” position.
The functions will be as follow : -

This weighing instrument is under one year warranty from date of customer
purchase the scale. If the scale have problem and please send the scale to our
company service department .
