1. Hinweise für den Benutzer
HINWEIS
Sehr geehrter Kunde,
bewahren Sie die Anweisung sorgfältig auf und geben
Sie diese gegebenenfalls an Nachbesitzer weiter.
ACHTUNG!
Dieses Gerät kann on Kindern ab 8 Jahren
und darüber sowie on Personen mit errin-
gerten physischen, sensorischen oder men-
talen Fähigkeiten oder Mangels an Erfahrung
und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beauf-
sichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Ge-
brauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren er-
stehen! Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen. Reinigung und Wartung dürfen nicht
durch Kinder ohne Aufsicht erfolgen!
ACHTUNG!
Kinder jünger als 3 Jahre sind fernzuhalten,
es sei denn, sie werden ständig überwacht.
Kinder ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre
dürfen das Gerät ein- und ausschalten, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwie-
sen wurden und die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren erstanden haben, orausgesetzt,
dass das Gerät in seiner normalen Gerauchs-
lage platziert oder installiert ist!
ACHTUNG!
Kinder ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre
dürfen das Gerät nicht einschalten, das Gerät
nicht reinigen oder die Wartung durchfüh-
ren!
ACHTUNG!
Um Überhitzung zu ermeiden, darf das
Heizgerät nicht abgedeckt werden!
ACHTUNG!
Teile des Gerätes können sehr heiß werden
und Verbrennungen erursachen. Beson-
dere Vorsicht ist bei Kindern oder schutzbe-
dürftigen Personen geboten!
ACHTUNG!
Das Gerät ist so zu installieren, dass es nicht
on einer sich in der Badewanne oder unter
der Dusche befindlichen Person berührt
werden kann!
ACHTUNG!
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es
om Hersteller ausgetauscht werden, um
Gefahrenquellen auszuschließen!
2. Montage, Mindestabstände
ACHTUNG!
Die Original-Halter müssen erwendet wer-
den.
Die Geräte können ertikal sowie horizontal an der
Wand montiert werden.
Sie sind so anzubringen, dass brennbare Gegen-
stände nicht entzündet werden können.
Bei der Installation des Heizgerätes mit Netzan-
schlussdose und Raumthermostat ist der Schutzbe-
reich nach VDE 100-701 zwingend zu beachten.

Wandmontage
ACHTUNG!
Das Gerät nicht unter einer Wandsteckdose
installieren!
ACHTUNG!
Um ein ersehentliches Ausheben des Heiz-
gerätes zu erhindern, müssen die oberen
Schrauben fest angezogen werden. Für eine
einfache Montage empfehlen wir Sechskant-
schrauben.
Die Montage an einer Holzwand ist zulässig.
Das Heizgerät muss an einer senkrechten Wand, wie
im Bild dargestellt, installiert werden. Die Mindestab-
stände müssen eingehalten werden. Ferner ist an der
Geräte orderseite ein Abstand on 500 mm orzuse-
hen. Alle Maße in mm.
Die Befestigungslöcher anzeichnen, bohren und
dübeln.
Schrauben lose eindrehen.
Heizgerät einhängen und Schrauben festziehen.
. Elektrischer Anschluss
Die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typschild muss mit
der Netzspannung übereinstimmen.
Es ist empfehlenswert, für die Strom ersorgung einen
eigenen Stromkreis orzusehen.
Das Heizgerät ist für Festanschluss an eine Wandan-
schlussdose orgesehen. Bei Wandmontage, Gerä-
teanschlussleitung nach unten erlegen.
Das Gerät darf nur on einem Elektrofachmann nach
den geltenden Sicherheits orschriften installiert und
repariert werden.
Anschluss nur an fest erlegte Leitungen!
In der elektrischen Installation ist eine Trenn orrich-
tung orzusehen mit mindestens 3 mm Kontaktöff-
nung an jedem Pol (z.B. Sicherungsautomat).
4. Heizbetrieb
HINWEIS
Das Gerät nur zur Raumlufterwärmung innerhalb ge-
schlossener Räume erwenden.
Der Betrieb des Heizgerätes ist ausschließlich
zulässig in Verbindung mit einem externen Raumther-
mostat, der folgende Funktionen beinhaltet:
Elektronisch geregeltes Wochenprogramm,
adapti e Regelung des Heizbeginns,
weitere Energiesparfunktionen.
Bitte beachten Sie hierzu die Bedienungsanleitung
des Raumthermostates.
Empfohlener Raumthermostat: Dimplex DTB 2R
5. Störungen
Wenn das Heizgerät keine Wärme abgibt, prüfen Sie
bitte die Temperatureinstellung am Raumthermostat,
dann ob die Sicherung in der Strom erteilung einge-
schaltet ist.
Zu Ihrer Sicherheit ist das Heizgerät mit einem inte-
grierten Überhitzungsschutz ausgerüstet. Bei unzu-
lässiger Erwärmung des Heizgerätes (z.B. durch Ver-
hängen oder Zustellen), schaltet das Gerät
automatisch ab.
Vor Wiederinbetriebnahme beseitigen Sie die Ursa-
chen für das Ansprechen des Überhitzungsschutzes.
Ist das Gerät ausreichend abgekühlt, schaltet der
Überhitzungsschutz automatisch wieder zu und das
Gerät kann wieder in Betrieb genommen werden.
Kann die Störung nicht behoben werden, wenden Sie
sich bitte an Ihre Elektrofachwerkstatt oder an die
Ser ice-Zentrale für Dimplex-Geräte. Bitte die auf
dem Typschild angebrachte E-Nummer bereit halten.
6. Reinigung
Das Gerät muss or dem Reinigen ausgeschaltet und
abgekühlt sein. Dazu Raumthermostat auf AUS stel-
len. Die Außenseite kann durch Abwischen mit einem
weichen Handbesen gereinigt werden.
Keine Flüssigkeiten, Scheuerpul er oder sonstige
chemische Mittel erwenden, da diese die Oberfläche
beschädigen können.
7. Garantie
Für dieses Produkt übernehmen wir 2 Jahre Garantie
gemäß unseren Garantiebedingungen.


Das Gerät nicht im allgemeinen Hausmüll ent-
sorgen, sondern einer örtlichen Entsorgungs-

1. Notes for the user
NOTE
Dear customer,
Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them
on to possible future owners.
ATTENTION!
This de ice can be used by children aged 8
and o er and by persons with limited physi-
cal, sensory or mental aptitude or lack of ex-
perience and/or knowledge, pro iding they
are super ised or ha e been instructed in the
safe use of the de ice and understand the
associated potential dangers. Children must
not play with the de ice. Cleaning and user
maintenance may not be carried out by chil-
dren without super ision!
ATTENTION!
Children younger than 3 years of age must
be kept away unless they are super ised
constantly. Children between the ages of 3
and 8 may switch the de ice on and off if
they are super ised or ha e been instructed
in the safe use of the de ice and ha e under-
stood the resulting dangers, pro iding that
the de ice is positioned or installed in its nor-
mal place of use!
ATTENTION!
Children between the ages of 3 and 8 may
not switch on the de ice, clean the de ice or
carry out maintenance!
ATTENTION!
To a oid o erheating, do not co er the heat-
ing de ice.
ATTENTION!
Some parts of the de ice can get ery hot
and cause burns. Particular caution must be
taken with children or ulnerable people!
ATTENTION!
Install the de ice in such a manner that it
cannot be touched by a person in the bath-
tub or under the shower.
ATTENTION!
If the power cable is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer so as to elimi-
nate potential dangers.
2. Assembly, minimum clearances
ATTENTION!
The original brackets must be used.
These de ices can be mounted ertically or horizon-
tally onto the wall.
They must be mounted so that flammable objects can
not be ignited.
When installing the heating de ice with mains power
socket and room thermostat, the protection zone in
accordance with VDE 100-701 must be obser ed.

Wall mounting
ATTENTION!
Do not install the de ice directly below a wall
socket.
ATTENTION!
To pre ent unintentional lifting of the heat-
ing de ice, the upper screws must be se-
curely tightened. For easy installation, we
recommend hexagon head screws.
Installation on wooden walls is permissible.
The heating de ice must be installed on a ertical wall
(see illustration). The minimum clearances must be
obser ed. In addition, a clearance of 500 mm is to be
maintained in front of the unit. All dimensions in mm.
Mark, drill and plug the fixing holes.
Loosely screw in the screws.
Fit the heating de ice and securely tighten the
screws
. Electrical connection
The oltage specified on the type plate must match
the line oltage.
It is recommended that a separate electric circuit be
pro ided for the power supply.
The heating de ice is designed for fixed connection to
a wall socket. When mounting on a wall, route the de-
ice connection cable downwards.
The de ice must only be installed and repaired by a
qualified electrician in accordance with the applicable
safety regulations.
Connection may only take place on securely routed
cables!
A disconnecting de ice with a contact opening of at
least 3 mm at each pole (e.g. circuit breaker) must be
pro ided in the permanently installed wiring.
4. Heating operation
NOTE
Only use the de ice for room heating within enclosed
rooms.
The heating de ice may only be
operated in conjunction with an external room ther-
mostat with the following functions:
electronically controlled week programme,
adapti e control of the heating start,
further energy-sa ing functions.
Please obser e the operating instructions for the
room thermostat.
Recommended room thermostat: Dimplex DTB 2R
5. Faults
If the heating de ice is not emitting any heat, check
the temperature setting on the room thermostat, then
check whether the fuse in the electricity distribution is
switched on.
For your safety, the heating de ice is equipped with
an integrated o erload protector. The de ice switches
off automatically in the case of impermissible heating
of the heating de ice (e.g. due to it being hung or po-
sitioned incorrectly).
Before recommissioning, remo e the causes behind
the o erload protector being triggered.
Once the de ice has cooled down sufficiently, the
o erload protector switches off again automatically
and the de ice can be operated again.
If you cannot correct the fault, please contact a spe-
cialist electrical ser ice centre or else the ser ice cen-
tre for Dimplex de ices. Please ha e the E-number
printed on the type plate ready.


6. Cleaning
The de ice must be switched off and must ha e
cooled down before cleaning. Set the room thermo-
stat to OFF. Clean the outside of the de ice using a
soft hand brush.
Do not use any fluid, scouring powder or other chem-
icals, as they could damage the surface.
7. Warranty
This product is supplied with a two-year warranty ac-
cording to our terms of guarantee.
8. Note on disposal
Do not dispose of the de ice with general
household waste. The de ice must be taken to
a local waste disposal plant.

Les enfants d’au moins 8 ans ainsi que les
personnes aux facultés physiques, senso-
rielles ou mentales réduites et les personnes
ne disposant pas de l’expérience et des
connaissances requises sont autorisés à utili-
ser l’appareil sous la sur eillance d’une per-
sonne expérimentée ou s’ils ont reçu les ins-
tructions nécessaires à une utilisation sûre
de l’appareil et ont compris les risques
encourus ! Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer
a ec l’appareil. Ne pas laisser les enfants pro-
céder sans sur eillance au nettoyage et aux
opérations de maintenance !

de l’appareil sauf s’ils sont constamment sur-

d’utilisation !

ulnérables !

Installer l’appareil de manière à ce qu’il ne
soit pas accessible à une personne se trou-
ant dans la baignoire ou sous la douche !
ATTENTION !
Si le câble secteur est endommagé, il doit
être remplacé par le fabricant afin d'exclure
toute source de danger !
2. Montage, distances minimales
ATTENTION !
Utiliser impérati ement les supports d’ori-
gine.
Les appareils peu ent être montés à la erticale et à
l'horizontale sur un mur.
Ils doi ent être installés de manière à ce qu’aucun
objet inflammable ne risque de s’enflammer.
Pour l’installation de l’appareil de chauffage a ec une
prise de raccordement secteur et un thermostat
d’ambiance, respecter impérati ement la zone de
protection définie par VDE 100-701.

ATTENTION !
Ne pas installer l’appareil sous une prise
murale !
ATTENTION !
Les is du haut doi ent être fermement ser-
rées afin d’é iter un décrochage accidentel
de l’appareil de chauffage. Pour faciliter le
montage, nous recommandons des is à tête
hexagonale.
Il est permis de monter l’appareil sur une paroi en bois.
L’appareil de chauffage doit être installé sur un mur
ertical, conformément à la figure. Respecter les dis-
tances minimales prescrites. Pré oir en outre une dis-
tance de 500 mm minimum par rapport à la face
a ant de l’appareil. Toutes les dimensions sont expri-
mées en mm.
Tracer des repères pour les trous de fixation,
percer et insérer des che illes.
Visser les is sans les serrer.
Accrocher l’appareil de chauffage et serrer les is.
. Branchement électrique
La tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique doit
correspondre à la tension réseau.
Pour l’alimentation électrique de l’appareil, il est re-
commandé de pré oir un circuit électrique dédié.
L’appareil de chauffage est conçu pour un branche-
ment fixe sur une prise de raccordement murale.
En cas de montage mural, poser le câble d'alimenta-
tion de l'appareil ers le bas.
Seul un électricien est autorisé à installer et à réparer
l’appareil, en respectant les normes de sécurité en i-
gueur.
Raccordement exclusi ement à des câbles posés de
manière fixe !
Pré oir un dispositif de sectionnement dans l’installa-
tion électrique a ec une ou erture de contact de mi-
nimum 3 mm à chaque pôle (p. ex. coupe-circuit auto-
matique).
4. Mode chauffage
Utiliser l’appareil uniquement pour réchauffer l’air am-
biant dans des pièces fermées.
L'utilisation de l'appareil de chauffage est autorisée
uniquement
a ec un thermostat d'ambiance externe qui com-
prend les fonctions sui antes :
programme hebdomadaire à régulation électro-
nique,
régulation adaptati e du démarrage du chauffage,
fonctions d’économie d’énergie supplémentaires.
Tenez compte à ce sujet du mode d’emploi du ther-
mostat d’ambiance.

5. Défauts
Si l’appareil de chauffage ne produit pas de chaleur,
contrôlez le réglage de température sur le thermostat
d’ambiance puis érifiez que le fusible du circuit de
distribution électrique est bien enclenché.
L’appareil de chauffage est équipé d’un limiteur de
surcharge intégré pour otre sécurité. En cas de sur-
chauffe de l'appareil de chauffage (p. ex. si l’appareil
de chauffage est recou ert ou obstrué), l’appareil se
met automatiquement à l’arrêt.
A ant la remise en marche, éliminez les causes du dé-
clenchement du limiteur de surcharge.
Lorsque l’appareil a suffisamment refroidi, le limiteur
de surcharge se désacti e automatiquement et l’ap-
pareil peut être remis en marche.
S’il n’est pas possible de remédier au défaut, euillez
ous adresser à otre électricien ou à la centrale SAV
chargée des appareils Dimplex. Veillez à rele er le nu-
méro E indiqué sur la plaque signalétique.
6. Nettoyage
Débrancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir a ant le
nettoyage. Pour cela, mettre le thermostat d’am-
biance sur ARRÊT. L’extérieur de l’appareil peut être
nettoyé a ec une balayette souple.
Ne pas utiliser de liquides, de poudre à récurer ou
d’autres produits chimiques car ceux-ci risqueraient
d’endommager la surface.


7. Garantie
Nous accordons 2 ans de garantie sur ce produit
conformément à nos conditions de garantie.
8. Remarque concernant la mise au
rebut de l’appareil
Ne pas jeter l’appareil a ec les ordures ména-
gères. Le remettre à une déchetterie locale.
