Do notabuse the cord. Never carry the charger or base by the cord or yank to
disconnectfrom an outlet; instead grasp the charger and pullto disconnect.Keep cord
away from heated surfaces. Do not pullcord around sharp edges or corners. Do not
closedoor on the charger cord.
Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
This product includes rechargeable nickelcadmium batteries. Do not incinerate
batteries or expose to hightemperatures, as they may explode.
Unplug the charger from the outlet before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
Do not put any object into openings.
Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that
may reduceair flow.
Keep hair, loose clothing,fingers,and all partsof bodyawayfrom openingsand movingparts.
Do not pick up anythingthat is burningor smoking, such as cigarettes, matches,or hot ashes.
Do not use without filter in place.
Turn off all controls beforeunplugging.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in
areas where they may be present.
Leaks from battery cellscan occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid, which is
20-35%solutionof potassiumhydroxide, gets ontheskin
(1) wash quicklywithsoap and
water or
(2) neutralizewith a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquidgets
into the eyes, flush them immediatelywith clean water for a minimum of
10 minutes.
Seek medical attention.
Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturerto recharge.

NOTE: Only use charger supplied by RoyalAppliance Mfg. to recharge.
CHARGE 24 HOURS BEFORE FIRST USE.
1. Connectwall charger to the outlet.
2. Plug charger into charger inlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate when cleaner ischarging.
1. Remove cleanerfrom charging base.
2. Press power button and hold down to vacuum up dust and debris. Releaseto shut cleaner off.
1 Grasp dirt cup and remove by gently pulling it awayfrom the main body.
2. Pull filter out and empty contents into wastebasket. Remove any extra debris from the filter and
then replace in dirt cup.
3. Reattachdirt cup.
1. Slide brush attachment into vacuum nozzleas needed. Remove when finished.
2. Store on charging basewhen not in use.
NOTE: Designedto sit inthe charging base on a flat surface or mount on wall vertically.
For mounting on wall.
1. Place charging base against surface and mark the center of the holes.
2. Drill 3/16" holes through the center of the marks.
3. Push plastic wall anchors into drilled holes
4. Tighten screwsintowallanchors leaving114" clearance betweenthe screw head andthe wall surface.
5. Slide the charging base onto the screws. Adjust screw clearanceas neededto ensure atight fit.
Keep charger plugged into a standard outlet at all times. It is normal for the charger to
becomewarm to the touch when charging. If the operating time gets shorter after
repeated use, let the unit run until it stops running. Rechargefor
24 hours and repeat
monthly for best results.
