Safety Precautions
Note
Please read this manual carefully before you start to operate the detector
DoCash 500 series detectors operate from 220V power supply circuit.
User is required to comply with safety precautions while operating any ap-
paratus of this type:
Replace lamps and effect other service activities only after the power
supply cable is disconnected from the outlet
Note
Voltage over 42V is potentially dangerous for the oper ator
If the Detector has been transported and stored under low temperature
conditions, it is required to maintain the Detector at least two hours
under indoor temperature before switching it on.
To avoid break-off or damage of the cable, it is required to hold on the
power supply plug while putting it on and out from the outlet. Also avoid
such actions when your hands are wet - it may cause in electric shock.
Connect optional detectors only when DoCash 500 series is turned off
Avoid using the device with the damaged power supply cable.

Purpose of a detector
DoCash 500 series detector has been designed for visualization of the
presence and location of UV marks on banknotes and securities of any
types.
Use of the Detector allows to increase identity rate of conclusions made
with regard to authenticity of examined specimen.

Control keys
Note
Only DoCash 525, DoCash 530 and DoCash 531 devices are equipped
with control keys. A power supply ON/OFF Switch of DoCash 502 devices
is located adjacent to operational area.

Connection of Accessories
Accessories (of DoCash M and DoCash L detectors) allow to expand
opportunities of DoCash 500 series detector. They are connected to con-
nectors on the side board of DoCash 500 series detector.
Note
Only DoCash 525 and DoCash 530 Detectors are featured to connect up
accessories.
DoCash M and DoCash L remote detectors are supplied in addi-
tion.
DoCash M Control of location of magnetic marks.
Allows to trace security marks, inscriptions and
images made by ferromagnetic paint (magnetic
marks).
DoCash L View of the image through 10x magnifier in visible
range, with the possibility of backlighting.
Allows to study the specific features of printing,
view the elements of microprint and detect the at-
tempts for changing through expunction, gluing,
etc.

Operational procedure
1. Dispose the detector on a plane surface.
 To provide effective operation of the detector avoid its exposure to
direct sunlight.
2. Connect the detector to the power supply circuit and move the switch to
“On” position.
 The switch glowing means that the detector is engaged
3. Using Mode switch select the desired mode of authenticity verification
(see “Control keys” section).
4. Using White Light Mode switch select the desired mode of white light
lamps operation (See “Control keys” section).
5. Place the examined bank notes on the desktop of the device (or above it)
and initiate verification.
 Change the detector operation mode with the help of control keys
and perform additional verification using remote devices (provided
they are connected).
6. To verify authenticity of a bank note compare the obtained results with
the true sample data available.
To disconnect the device after the operation is completed move the switch
to “OFF” position.

Maintenance
Should the detector lamp surface is contaminated, rub it all over with a soft
cloth or a alcohol damped cotton-wool.
Note
Before performing any maintenance disconnect the power supply circuit.
Clean outer surfaces of the detector by a soft dry cloth having antistatic
property or specific antistatic facility.
Note
To clean the detector surfaces avoid using any organic solvent (acetone,
white-spirit, petrol, etc.), as well as other detergents that include such sol-
vents as components.
Upon detecting any malfunction consult DoCash service center.

Warranty
Manufacturer guarantees perfect operation of the detector during 12
months from the delivery date subject to compliance with the conditions of
use and storage indicated in this Manual and additional conditions speci-
fied in the Warranty Coupon.
Manufacturer is free from any obligation for the detector malfunction
caused by improper transportation, storage and use, as well as by mechani-
cal damage.
Transportation and Storage
When transporting and storing the detector please pay attention to symbols
on the package.
When transporting the permissible temperature is –30°С- +50°С. Storage
of the detector is allowed at temperature +1°С- +40°Сand relative humid-
ity of up to 80 % (at 25°С), non-condensing.
The detector shelf life: 2 years.

Меры предосторожности
ВНИМАНИЕ
Перед началом эксплуатации прибора, пожалуйста, внимательно
прочитайте настоящее руководство
Приборы DoCash серии 500 (DoCash 525, DoCash 530, DoCash 531)
работают от сети электропитания 220 В. При работе стаким обору-
дованием требуется соблюдать следующие меры безопасности:
 Любые ремонтные исервисные работы, втом числе замену ламп,
производить только при отсоединении прибора от сети электропита-
ния.
ВНИМАНИЕ
Напряжение свыше 42 Впотенциально опасно для человека
 При транспортировке ихранении прибора вхолодных условиях
перед включением его необходимо выдержать при комнатной темпе-
ратуре не менее 2-хчасов.
 При включении ивыключении прибора из розетки сети питания
необходимо держаться только за вилку сетевого кабеля, во избежа-
ние разрыва или повреждения шнура. Также запрещается произво-
дить подобные действия влажными руками, т. к. это может повлечь
за собой поражение электрическим током.
 Подключение любых внешних устройств разрешается проводить
только при выключенном приборе.
 Запрещается использование прибора споврежденным кабелем
электропитания.

Назначение детектора
Детекторы DoCash серии 500 предназначены для проведения кон-
троля подлинности на следующих видах ценных бумаг идокумен-
тах: банкноты (Рубли РФ, Евро, Доллары США идр.), акцизные мар-
ки, кредитные карты, акции иоблигации, паспорта, сертификаты и
др. ценные бумаги идокументы, имеющие элементы ультрафиолето-
вой защиты.
Использование детектора позволяет повысить достоверность выво-
дов оподлинности исследуемых образцов. Окончательные выводы о
подлинности образца делаются человеком, использующим детектор
исобственные знания охарактеристиках подлинных банкнот ицен-
ных бумаг.

Управляющие клавиши
Обратите внимание, что управляющие клавиши присутствуют впри-
борах DoCash 525,DoCash 530,DoCash 531. Вприборах DoCash
502 рядом срабочим полем детектора находится только выключа-
тель электропитания.
