• If you have a cardiac pacemaker,
implanted defibrillator, or other
implanted metallic or electronic
device. Using the device could
then cause electric shock, burns,
electrical interference, or death.
• Near magnetic resonance
imaging (MRI) equipment. The
device is MR Unsafe.
• If you have
- abnormal high blood pressure;
- an undiagnosed pain syndrome;
- a tendency for internal
bleeding;
- if hemorrhage is likely.
• Following recent surgical
procedures if stimulation may
disrupt the healing process.
• Near your eyes, to your head or
face.
• Together with medical electronic
devices such as an artificial heart
or lung or respirator.
• In the presence of electronic
monitoring equipment (e.g.,
cardiac monitors, ECG alarms),
because it may cause them to
malfunction.
• On open wounds, rashes,
swollen, red, infected or inflamed
areas or skin eruptions (e.g.,
phlebitis, thrombophlebitis,
varicose veins) or on top of or
close to cancerous lesions.

BODY PADS
• On the opposite sides of your
head, because the eects of
brain stimulation are unknown.
• To your head, face, the front and
sides of your neck, your throat, or
on both sides of your thorax.
• To stimulate the carotid sinus
nerves, particularly in patients
with a known sensitivity to the
carotid sinus reflex.
• To stimulate your front neck
or mouth, because this could
cause severe muscle spasms
resulting in closure of your airway,
diculty in breathing, or adverse
eects on heart rhythm or blood
pressure.
• Across your chest because this
may cause cardiac arrhythmias.
• On open wounds, rashes,
swollen, red, infected or inflamed
areas or skin eruptions or on top
of or close to cancerous lesions.
• If you experience any skin
irritation or redness after using,
stop stimulation in that specific
area until the skin returns to
normal.
DO NOT USE THE PAIN THERAPY
DEVICE IN COMBINATION WITH
THE NECK PAIN PRO OR BODY
PADS ON
• Children or infants, because the
device has not been evaluated
for pediatric use.
• Keep the device out of the reach
of infants, children or pets. Any
inhalation or swallowing of small
parts is dangerous and can be
potentially fatal.
• Only use accessories that have
been specified or authorized
by the manufacturer. The use of
unauthorized accessories may
cause damage to the device or
danger to the user.
• Do not use the device in areas
of high humidity, such as the
bathroom or in the shower, as this
may damage it.
• Ensure that metallic items with
conductive capabilities, such as
necklaces, belts and rings, are
kept away from the electrodes
during treatment.
• If using rechargeable 1.5 V
batteries, make sure you use a
CE approved battery charger.
Never connect the device directly
to a battery charger or to other
powered equipment.
• Do not use the device in the
presence of a flammable
anesthetic gas mixture,
compressed oxygen or nitrous
oxide.
• If the Pain Therapy Device is not
functioning properly, you should
stop using it.
• Only use the device for its
intended purpose.
• Do not use the device while
wearing other electronic devices,
• People who have lost their mental
capacity.
• Pregnant women, because it is
not yet known whether it is safe
to do so.
Seek advice from your doctor if you
have suspected or diagnosed heart
disease or epilepsy.

PRECAUTIONS ELECTRODE
BODY PADS
• Apply pads to normal, healthy,
dry, clean skin only.
• If you wish to move the pads to
another location of your body
during treatment, turn the device
o first, then re-move the pads
and resume treatment.
• Do not bend or fold the pads,
as this may cause the pads to
malfunction.
• Always store the pads on the
transparent protective film when
not in use.
• Do not apply any solvent or any
other liquids (except conductive
gel or water) to the pads or to
your skin because these will cau-
se the pads not to stick and to
malfunction. The pads are pre-
gelled and will adhere to your
skin when moist.
• Always apply a few sprays of
the conductive gel onto the

• The simultaneous connection
of a patient to high frequency
surgical equipment may result in
burns where the electrode pads
have been attached and possibly
damage the Pain Therapy Device.
• Do not leave pads attached to
the skin after treatment.
• Placement of the electrode pads
and stimulation settings should
be based on the instructions of
the prescribing practitioner.
• Do not share electrode pads with
anyone else because this may
cause skin irritation or infection.
People should have their own set
of pads for personal use.
IMPORTANT:
Both of the pads in a set must
be placed on the body at the
same time in order to work.
Make sure the pads are not
touching each other because
otherwise no impulses will be
felt.
Stop using the pads if the individual
packaging has been open for more
than three months, or if the pads
lose their adhesiveness. You could
buy new sets of pads via your
supplier.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
You may experience:
1. skin irritation or hypersensitivity
due to the electrical stimulation
or Conductive Gel;
2. skin irritation and burns
underneath the elektrode pads
when applied to the skin.

PRECAUTIONS WIRES
• Do not bend or pull the end of
the wires.
• Replace wires when broken or
damaged.
• Long wires have the potential
to strangulate. Be careful when
using these in the neck and
shoulder areas.
• Make sure the wires are properly
plugged into the Pain Therapy
Device and, when using the pads,
that the pads are stuck tightly
onto the skin area you wish to
treat to ensure eective therapy.
NOTE:
Do not treat one area for extended
periods of time (more than 40
minutes per session, up to 3 times
per day) because your muscles in
that region may become exhausted
and sore.
Only use the original electrode
pads, gel and wires supplied by
the manufacturer because other
electrode pads and wires may not
be electrically compatible with your
device.

INFORMATION ON INTENDED USE
The Pain Therapy Device (Model
P.T.SIIB) is a new generation of house-
hold multifunctional device based on
physics, modern microelectronics and
clinical practices. It can stimulate heal-
thy muscles and increase local blood
circulation in order to improve and
facilitate muscle performance, and
relieve the pain associated with sore
and aching muscles in the waist, upper
and lower back, back of the neck,
upper extremities (shoulder and arm),
lower extremities (leg) due to strain
from exercises, work or normal house-
hold work activities by applying current
to stimulate nerves.
DR-HO’S Neck Pain Pro and its body
pads are intended to relieve pain as-
sociated with sore or aching muscles
due to strain from exercise or ADLs
(activities of daily living), principally
regular household and work activities.
This product is certified as medical
device in the European Union under
the Medical Device Directive 93/42/
EEC by SGS CE1639, exclusively for
the indication(s) of relief of pain asso-
ciated with sore or aching muscles.
Other non-medical uses escribed to
this device are not within the scope of
CE certification.
Users should be aware product per-
formance and/or safety has not been
evaluated by SGS for non-medical
purposes.

How long does the therapy last? This depends on the timer setting chosen. The therapy
ends automatically.
How do I personalize the therapy? You select program and intensity yourself.
How long should I use the device
and how often?
Each session should last 30 to 40 minutes. No more than 3
sessions per day.
When should I stop using it? When the pain has subsided or stopped, if treatment is
uncomfortable, in the event of an adverse reaction, and if
the condition worsens.
Note: many people experience
immediate relief while others require
regular use to feel the benefits. The
results vary and will depend on your
underlying conditions and how often
you use the device. If your pain does
not subside, you can try increasing
the intensity or you can change the
program.
