• Ensure that the wall outlet voltage matches the voltage of the appliance�

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before adding water�
• Do not spill liquid on cord or plug�
• Do not move appliance while in use or when it contains hot liquids�
• To operate, plug cord into wall outlet�To disconnect, press power button, then
remove plug from wall outlet�
• DO NOT open lid or reach over the appliance while in use, as steam will cause
burns and serious injuries.
• DO NOT touch hot surfaces, including lid, tray and lower rack, during or
immediately after use.
• After sterilizing, wait 10 minutes for parts to cool, then open lid carefully
by handle and beware of residual steam�
• DO NOT EXCEED the recommended amount of water�
• If it is necessary to drain water from the base, always POUR AWAY FROM YOU�
• As the unit switches from the sterilization to the drying cycle, it is expected to see a
large initial release of steam as the fan turns on� Keep a safe distance from the unit
while this cycle is in process�
• Unplug from outlet and allow to cool for 60 minutes before cleaning and
descaling the unit or replacing the lter�
• Be careful to avoid spilling or splashing water on yourself when removing contents�
• The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use�

PREPARING FOR USE
CAUTION: Unplug from outlet before adding water�
1� Wash items to be sterilized in hot, soapy water and rinse well�
2� Position the appliance on a level, heat-resistant surface�
3� Remove the lower rack, tray and lid from the base�
4� Fill the measuring cup to the solid FILL LINE (110 mL) with NONMINERAL BOTTLED WATER
and pour the water ONTOTHE HEATING PLATE� For Dry Only function, do not add water�
Note: For best performance, use non-mineral bottled water and descale monthly�
Water with minerals may shorten the life of this appliance�
CAUTION: DO NOT EXCEED the recommended amount of water�

• Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system�

1� Place the lower rack on the base� Arrange bottles or cups upside down over prongs and add
small items in remaining space� If using Dr� Brown’s® bottles, see below for suggested
arrangements�
2� Stack the tray on top of the lower rack and add additional small items�
Note: This appliance can sterilize any item that can withstand boiling water, such as
paciers/soothers, teethers, toys and utensils�
3� Place the lid on top of the tray� Ensure that the lid ts securely on the tray without any gaps�

USING THE APPLIANCE

Note: When the sterilizer is turned on, the appliance will beep and the
indicator above the power button will light up�

Automatic Sterilize/Dry
Press the Automatic Sterilize/Dry Button� The appliance will beep one time and the
sterilization cycle will start�
WARNING: DO NOT open lid or reach over the appliance while in
use, as steam will cause burns and serious injuries� DO NOT
touch hot surfaces, including lid, tray and lower rack, during or
immediately after use�
When the sterilization cycle is complete, the drying cycle will begin automatically�
The drying cycle lasts approximately 45 mins�
CAUTION: As the unit switches from the sterilization to the
drying cycle, it is expected to see a large initial release of steam
as the fan turns on� Keep a safe distance from the unit while this cycle
is in process�
When the drying cycle is complete, the appliance will beep 5 times and
switch o automatically�
Sterilize Only
Press the Sterilize Only Button� The appliance will beep one time and the sterilization
cycle will start�
WARNING: DO NOT open lid or reach over the appliance while in
use, as steam will cause burns and serious injuries� DO NOT touch
hot surfaces, including lid, tray and lower rack, during or immediately
after use�
When the sterilization cycle is complete, the appliance will beep 5 times and
switch o automatically�
Note: This cycle lasts approximately 9 minutes but may vary by the amount of
water you add, the number of items to be sterilized and other environmental factors�
CAUTION: Wait 10 minutes for parts to cool, then open lid carefully
by handle and beware of residual steam�

CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
CAUTION: Unplug from outlet and allow to cool for 60 minutes before
cleaning� DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER�
Clean at least once a week when in regular use�
BASE AND HEATING PLATE: Wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth or sponge�
TRAY, LID, LOWER RACK AND MEASURING CUP: Clean in hot, soapy water and rinse
well, or in a dishwasher (top rack only)� Allow to air dry�
Note: DO NOT use scouring pads, abrasives, bleach or solvents for cleaning�
DO NOT disassemble base� There are no serviceable parts inside�

Note: If there is not enough water added, incomplete sterilization may occur� If the unit
was not able to sterilize completely, it will beep and the indicator light will ash for one hour�
If this happens, wait 10 minutes to allow unit to cool, then add water to the solid FILL LINE
of the measuring cup (110 mL), pour the water onto the heating plate and restart the
sterilization cycle�
Dry Only
Press the Dry Only Button� The appliance will beep one time and the drying cycle
will start�
When the drying cycle is complete, the appliance will beep 5 times and
switch o automatically� This cycle lasts approximately 45 minutes�
Note: Any cycle can be stopped at any time by pressing the power button�
CAUTION: If it is necessary to drain water from the base, always
POUR AWAY FROM YOU, as shown by the symbol on base�

DESCALING
CAUTION: Unplug from outlet and allow to cool for 60 minutes before descaling�
Mineral deposits, like limescale, may form on the metal heating element in the base� As
the mineral deposits build, it can slow or disrupt the sterilization cycle� Depending on the
water type in your area, mineral deposits may vary in appearance but the harder the water,
the quicker it builds up� Mineral deposits are not known to be harmful, but they may impair
the function of appliances or damage components� Using non-mineral bottled water can
help prevent buildup, but regular descaling is needed for best performance� To remove the
mineral deposits, follow the steps below�
• Remove the lower rack, tray and lid from the base�
• Descale utilizing a mixture of vinegar/water:
• Fill measuring cup to the dashed line (80 mL) with white vinegar�
• Add an additional 30 mL of non-mineral bottled water to reach the solid FILL LINE
of the measuring cup (110 mL total)�
• Pour the mixture ONTO THE HEATING PLATE�
• Reassemble empty unit�
• Plug into wall outlet, press the Power Button and run a Sterilize Only cycle�
• Empty any remaining solution and rinse with clean water�
Note: Do not use bleach, harsh abrasives or solvents to clean the heating plate,
as they may cause permanent damage and may void the warranty.

one year from the date of purchase� Any defective part will be repaired or replaced at no
charge if it has not been tampered with and appliance has been used according to these
printed instructions� This warranty gives you specic legal rights as well as other rights
which vary from state to state�
This warranty does not cover a defect that has been caused by negligence, accidents or
improper use of the appliance� To keep your Dr� Brown’s™ Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer in
good condition and retain your warranty, USE ONLY AS DIRECTED�

REPLACING THE FILTER
CAUTION: Unplug from outlet and allow to cool for 60 minutes before
replacing lter�
Replace the lter every six months of regular use for optimal performance�
Follow the steps below:
1� The lter is located at the bottom of the base� Gently squeeze the latches on the lter
cover to remove it�
2� Remove and replace the lter, ensuring the pull tab is still visible on top of the lter�
3� Snap the lter cover back into position�
Note: Filter must always be used to ensure proper performance�

Cuando termine el ciclo de secado, el aparato sonará 5 veces y se apagará
automáticamente� Este ciclo tiene una duración aproximada de 45 minutos�

DESINCRUSTAR
PRECAUCIÓN: Desenchufe y deje enfriar durante 60 minutos antes de desincrustar�
Pueden formarse depósitos minerales, tales como la cal, en la placa calentadora de metal
en la base� Al acumularse los depósitos minerales, el ciclo de esterilización puede ser más
lento o interrumpirse� Dependiendo del tipo de agua en su zona, la apariencia de los
depósitos minerales puede variar, pero mientras más dura es el agua, con mayor rapidez se
forman� Los depósitos minerales no son nocivos hasta donde se sabe, pero pueden afectar el
funcionamiento de los aparatos o dañar sus componentes� El uso de agua de embotellada
sin minerales puede ayudar a prevenir los depósitos, pero es necesario desincrustar para
obtener el mejor funcionamiento� Para eliminar los depósitos minerales, siga estos pasos�
• Retire la rejilla inferior, la bandeja y la tapa de la base�
• Desincruste utilizando una mezcla de vinagre con agua:
1� Llene la taza para medir hasta la línea discontinua (80 mL) con vinagre blanco�
2� Añada 30 mL adicionales de agua embotellada sin minerales hasta la LÍNEA DE LLENADO
sólida de la taza para medir (110 mL en total)�
3� Vierta la mezcla EN LA PLACA DE CALENTAMIENTO�
4� Vuelva a armar la unidad vacía�
5� Enchufe en una toma de corriente en la pared, presione el Botón de encendido y
complete un ciclo de Esterilizar solamente�
6� Retire cualquier resto de la solución y enjuague con agua limpia�
Nota: No utilice blanqueadores, productos abrasivos ni solventes para limpiar placa de
calentamiento, ya que pueden causar daños permanentes y anularán la garantía.

REEMPLAZO DEL FILTRO

Reemplazar el ltro cada 6 meses de uso regular para un funcionamiento óptimo�
Siga estos pasos:
El ltro está ubicado en la parte inferior de la base� Apriete suavemente los pasadores en
la tapa del ltro para retirarlo�
Reemplace el ltro y asegúrese de que la pestaña para jalar se vea por encima del ltro�
Presione la tapa del ltro para que caiga en su lugar�
Nota: Siempre debe usarlo con el ltro para asegurar un funcionamiento adecuado�
Se incluyen 2 ltros�

Catatan: Untuk mendapat performa terbaik, gunakan air kemasan non-mineral dan

CARA MENGGUNAKAN ALAT
1� Tekan tombol daya�
Catatan: Saat sterilizer dihidupkan, alat akan berbunyi bip dan indikator di atas
tombol daya akan menyala�
2. Pilih fungsi yang diinginkan:
Sterilisasi/Pengeringan Otomatis
Tekan tombol Sterilisasi/Pengeringan Otomatis� Alat akan berbunyi bip satu kali
dan siklus sterilisasi dimulai�
PERINGATAN:JANGAN membuka tutup atau mengulurkan tangan di
atas alat saat sedang digunakan, karena uap akan menimbulkan luka
bakar dan cedera parah� JANGAN menyentuh permukaan panas,
termasuk tutup, tray, dan rak bawah, selama atau langsung setelah
penggunaan�
Setelah siklus sterilisasi selesai, siklus pengeringan akan otomatis dimulai�
Siklus pengeringan berlangsung selama 45 menit�
HATI-HATI: Saat unit beralih dari siklus sterilisasi ke pengeringan, akan
terlihat banyak uap yang keluar saat kipas berputar� Jaga jarak aman
dari unit ketika siklus ini berlangsung�
Setelah siklus pengeringan selesai, alat akan berbunyi bip 5 kali dan akan alat
akan mati secara otomatis�
Sterilizer
Tekan tombol Sterilizer. Alat akan berbunyi bip satu kali dan sterilisasi akan
dimulai�
PERINGATAN: JANGAN membuka tutup atau mengulurkan tangan di
atas alat saat sedang digunakan, karena uap akan menimbulkan luka
bakar dan cedera parah� JANGAN menyentuh permukaan panas, termasuk
tutup, tray, dan rak bawah, selama atau langsung setelah penggunaan�
Setelah siklus sterilisasi selesai, alat akan berbunyi bip lima kali, lalu mati secara
otomatis� Siklus ini berlangsung sekitar 45 menit�
HATI-HATI: Tunggu 10 menit sampai komponen mendingin, lalu bukalah
tutupnya dengan handle secara hati-hati dan waspadai sisa uap �
