WARNING
• It is dangerous to ignore the specified
limits for the charger or to use the
charger when it is not in its normal
condition.
• Do not use the charger in locations
with explosive gas, vapor or dust.
There is a risk of an explosion.
• This charger uses a Lithium-Ion (Li-ion)
battery pack. To prevent an explosion
or fire, do not short circuit, do not
disassemble, keep it safe from
damage. For operating conditions, see
“Specification”.
• To prevent an explosion or fire, use
only the Druck specified battery and
power supply.
• To prevent battery leakage or heat
generation, only use the battery
charger and power supply in the
temperature range 0 to 40°C (32 to
104°F). For operating conditions, see
“Specification”.
General Description
You can use this battery charger (IO620-
CHARGER) to charge one Li-ion battery
(IO620-BATTERY) when it is not in your
DPI 620G calibrator.
The shipping box contains:
• Battery charger.
• These instructions.

Preparation
To use this charger, make sure you have
these items:
• IO620-PSU: 5 V DC power supply. A
standard item with the DPI 620G
calibrator.
Alternative: A USB mini Type B cable
(IO620-USB-PC); not a standard item.
• IO620-BATTERY: Li-ion battery.
Assembly and Operation
In a dry location, put the charger on a flat
surface near an applicable power socket: AC
wall socket or USB computer socket. Then:
1. Connect the power supply to the charger:
(a) 5 V DC power supply OR
(b) USB mini Type B
2. Put the battery in the charger until the
guides (c), (d) and (e) hold it in position.
Specification
Charge Temperature: 0 to 40°C (32 to
104°F). When the charger senses the
temperature is outside this range, it stops
charging.
Storage Temperature: -20 to 70°C (-4 to
158°F).
Humidity: 0 to 90% relative humidity (RH)
non-condensing.
