INTRODUCTION
DULYTEK DW4000 manual heat press is a machine engineered and manufactured for solvent-less
plant rosin oil extraction for individual use or small operation businesses in research laboratories,
pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food processing, and brewing industries.

• Use this product only as described in this manual.
• Keep the equipment out of the reach of children at all times.
• Unplug the heat press from the electrical outlet and let it cool down com-
pletely before cleaning, performing maintenance, or repair.
• DO NOT immerse the press, its power cord, and plugs in water or any
other liquid.
• DO NOT place the product on or near a hot gas or electric burner, heated
oven, or any other heat source.
• DO NOT operate the product with a damaged cord or plug.
• DO NOT leave any cords near a heat source. It can deform the cord or
meltitsinsulationcausingelectricalshockorre.
• Always insert the power plug all the way in.
• DO NOT handle a power plug with wet hands.
• When unplugging a power cord, grasp and pull with the plub instead of
the cord.
• DO NOT scratch, cut, twist, excessively bend, or tie the cord or put a
heavy object on it.
• DO NOT let the power cord drape over the countertop or tabletop, where
it can be accidentally tripped over or pulled on.
• DO NOT connect too many power plugs to the same power outlet.
• DO NOT operate the product after the appliance malfunctions or is
dropped or damaged in any way.
• DO NOT cover the press with a cloth. Doing so may trap heat within and
causere.

injuries may occur.

• Remove dust around the plug and power cord with a dry cloth. If the sur-
ruoundingisdusty,humid,oroily,short-circuitmayoccur,causingare.
• DO NOT remove the machine cover.
• DONOTdisassemblethepressormakeanymodicationstotheequip-
ment.
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
• The press must be operated on a hard, level surface, away from its
edges to prevent accidental tipping over.
• Work area must be kept clean, tidy, and free of obstructions to the press
moving parts.
• Alwaysattachthepowercordtothepressrst,thenplugitintothewall
outlet.
• To unplug the press, turn OFF all controls and switches, only then re-
move the plug from the outlet.
• DO NOT touch the press’s hot surfaces. Use heat-resistant gloves or
tools. Care must be exercised as burns can occur from touching platens.
• Keep your hands and other body parts away from the press moving parts
to prevent injury.
• Thispresscomeswithapowercordthattsintoastandardhousehold
3-prongoutlet(110V).DONOTattempttousetheequipmentwithatwo-
prong electrical cord or any other way without proper grounding.
• Contact DULYTEK if the equipment does not start or if smoke or unusual
odors are detected.
• Always turn the machine OFF and unplug it when done using.

WARNING: Keep the packaging materials (cardboard, foam, plastic
bags, etc.) out of the reach of children to prevent accidental choking,
suocation, strangulation, and other injury.
Preserve the shipping carton. DO NOT discard or disassemble the shipping
box. It is designed to hold the weight of the product and should be used in
case you need to return the equipment for repair or warranty maintenance in
thefuture.DONOTattempttoshipthepressinadierentcontainer.

Before starting, please make sure that the following items are included with
your press machine. If anything is missing, contact DULYTEK.

RECOMMENDED

1. Placetheboxonalarge,sturdy,atsurface.
2. Open the box and remove the instruction manual and all parts that came
with the press.
3. Remove the packaging material and carefully lift the press out of the box.
4. Remove any protective or promotional labels from the press and other
parts if applicable.
5. Examine the heat press after unpacking for any damage. If found one,

1. Makesurethepressstandsonaatsturdycountertop.
2. Insert the wheel onto the axle making sure its groove aligns with
the axle ridge.
3. Use the enclosed rubber mallet to gently hammer the wheel in place.
4. Thread the long screw through the the wheel handle into the
wheel(asshownonthepage6).
5. Tighten the screw by hand.

PREPARING
AND STARTING
THE PRESS
1. Prepare materials you wish to press.
2. Insert the AC cord that came with the product into the press AC power
cordsocketandthenplugitsotherendintoanelectricaloutlet(110V).
3. Flip the ON/OFF switch to turn the press on. The control panels
and light up.

The press comes with two control panels, and .
The top platen temperature is set using the control panel , and the bot-
tom platen temperature - the control panel . Both control panels allow you
to set temperature either in Fahrenheit or Celsius degree. The press timer is
set using the control panel . Please follow the steps below to record the
desired press settings:
1. PressSETbuttonontherstcontrolpanel(Figure1)togetintothetem-
peraturesettingmode.Youshouldnowsee“P-1”onthedisplay(Figure
2).
2. Press UP or DOWN buttons to select the desired temperature (Figure
3). The selected temperature is shown in green on the second line of the
display.
Tip: Enter the temperature either in °F or °C; you will be able to select the
temperature scale later.

6)ORskip this step altogether and proceed to the step 5 if you are set-
ting the control panel .
PressSETbuttonagain(Figure7)togointothetemperaturescaleselec-
tionmode.Now,youshouldsee“P-3”onthedisplay(Figure8).
Tip: Depending on your machine’s default settings, you may either see
“F” or “C” on the second line of the display, indicating the currently se-
lectedtemperaturescale(°F or °C).ThecorrespondingLEDindicator,°F
or °C, will also be lit.
Press UP or DOWN buttons to select either °F or °C(Figure9)ORskip
thisstepifyouaresatisedwiththecurrentselection.

Repeat the steps 1 to 7 on the remaining control panel.

PRESSING 1. Waituntilbothplatensheatuptothedesiredtemperature(s).Tip:Digits
on the upper line of the control panel displays show the current tempera-
ture of the corresponding platen, and numbers on the bottom line - the
set temperature. The HEAT LED indicators will be lit while the press is
heatingtheplatens(Figure11).Onceheatingisnished,theindicators
areturnedo,andthetemperaturesshownonbothlinesshouldbethe
same.
2. Place the material you wish to press in the center of the bottom platen .
3. Turn the wheel clockwise using the wheel handle to raise the bottom
platen and continue rotating it until the maximum pressure is reached.
4. Letothewheelhandle.Themaximumreachedpressurewillbe
maintained.
5. Press the timer button to start the timer. The control panel starts
displaying the countdown.
6. Wait until the countdown ends and the press beeps. The TIMER indicator
lightsup(Figure12).
7. Pressthetimerbuttonagaintoturnothetimer.TheTIMERindicator
turnso,andthebeepingstops.
8. Rotate the wheel counterclockwise using the wheel handle to release
the press.
9. Remove the pressed material using heat resistant gloves or tools and
exercising extreme caution.

1. TurnothepressmachinebyippingON/OFFswitchwhendone
pressing.
2. Unplug and then disconnect the AC power cord from the press.
3. Wait until the press cools down completely to store it.

CALIBRATING
TEMPERATURE
CONTROLS
(optional)
Calibrating a control panel should be done if the actual temperature shown
on its screen deviates from the set temperature after heating is done. Please
followthestepsbelowtocalibrateandproof-readtheaectedtemperature
control:
1. Press DOWN button for 5 seconds to enter into Temperature Collation
mode(Figure13).TheONLEDindicatorwilllightup(Figure14).
2. Wait for approximately 4 to 5 minutes. The temperature control will re-
calibrateitselfandadjusttothesetvalues(Figure15).
