3. For your Safety
To ensure that you will enjoy your product for years to come, please read these
operating instructions carefully, particularly the safety instructions.
Keep them in a safe place and in the case of a change in ownership, please ensure
they are given to the new owner.
3.1 Normal Use
The sauna is to be used exclusively on private property, including a hotel room,
in a residential home or other similar situations and is not to be used for medical
purposes. Use is limited to indoors. It is suitable simply as a relaxing hot air bath.
Any other usage will be deemed as not corresponding with normal usage.
DURAVITAG assumes no liability for abnormal usage.
3.2 Safety Instructions
Please read and comply with the following safety instructions!
The heater is a potential fire hazard.
 Make sure there are no objects on the protective grille of the heat inlet before you
switch on the heater.
 Make sure that the air-supply inlet is unobstructed.
 Never operate the heater without sauna stones as this could lead to unacceptably
high temperatures.
 Use only stones that are approved for use in a sauna and place these loosely in the
heater. If the stones are packed too tightly, there is a danger of overheating.
The sauna stones may inflict burns.
 Allow stones to cool down before removing them.
This product is designed to be used only by adults.
 Children, elderly or infirm persons or persons with disabilities should only use the
sauna under supervision.
Only take a sauna when in good health.
 Consult your doctor before using the sauna if your health is in any way impaired,
if you suffer from acute illnesses or infections, or if you are pregnant.
 Do not use the sauna bath while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Microbial contamination of water in the vaporiser water tank.
 Empty the vaporiser water tank after each sauna bath.
Remove electrical devices.
 Do not use aroma lamps or air humidifiers in the sauna.
Cracks due to constant humidity and ambient temperature.
 Leave the sauna cabin doors open after each sauna bath to allow a complete
exchange of air.

 Natural wood is a living material. Its structure, grain, porosity and colour will vary
naturally which proves the authenticity of the natural material wood.
 Over time, the cabin walls in the area of the heater become darker than the rest of
the interior.
 Heat and temperature fluctuations can cause the sauna to warp.

The following warning signs warn you of dangerous situations and their severity:
Danger! Denotes high risk, lethal hazards, severe injuries.
Warning! Denotes medium risk, severe injuries.

5. Product Information
5.1 Controls
Control panel
The control panel has a stone design which symbolises the stones of the Indians and
is integrated into the side wall. All functions, apart from vaporisation, can be selected
and activated via the control panel.
"Vaporiser" button
The vaporisation can be triggered manually by pressing the "Vaporiser" button on the
inner face of the side wall.
5.2 Heater with sauna stones
The sauna heater is concealed in the side wall of the sauna and can heat the cabin up
to a temperature of 105 °C.
Warm-up time
The heat in a sauna is based on three sources operating in tandem: Firstly, the
heater warms the air in the cabin (convection). The ceiling and walls absorb the heat
of the air and release energy – in the form of radiant heat – to the sauna bathers.
Heat is also transferred by conduction: The heated benches transfer the stored
heat directly to the bodies of the bathers. To charge the two heat sources – radiant
heat and conduction – sufficiently, another warm-up period of 30– 60 minutes is
recommended after reaching the air temperature in the sauna. Overall, you should
allow a warm-up period of 75– 130 minutes to ensure optimum through-heating
(depending on environmental conditions): At this point the sauna is ready to use.
Timer
The timer allows you to restart the heater automatically within the next 24 hours.
That way you can enjoy the sauna as soon as you get home after a long day.
ECO function
When the sauna is not in use, you can put the heater in ECO mode to save heating
energy. You can choose between the following:

5.3 Vaporisation
The vaporisation can be triggered manually by pressing the "Vaporiser" button on the
inner face of the side wall. provided that the vaporiser water tank, located behind the
flap in the furniture, is full.
The quantity of steam produced is determined by the length of time the button is
pressed. The water flows via the vaporisation channel of the heater evenly across the
stones. The hot rising air distributes the water vapour throughout the cabin which
the users perceive as a pleasant infusion effect.
i Ideally the "Vaporiser" button should be pressed for roughly 1 – 2 seconds (Inipi B
Super Compact) or 2– 3 seconds (Inipi B) to vaporise the optimum quantity of water.
5.4 Hourglass
Using the hourglass integrated into the sauna control you can set a timer for your
sauna session. Once the set time has elapsed and acoustic signal sounds.
5.5 White LED light
A lighting system is a standard feature of the sauna. This consists of LED elements
that illuminate the backrest at the upper seating level.

5.6 Emergency lighting
Emergency lighting will come on without the control panel or sauna needing to be
switched on.
You can therefore switch on the emergency lighting when cleaning the sauna, for
example. This means you do not have to switch the whole sauna on.
5.7 Adjustable backrest (only Inipi B Super Compact)
The backrest of the Inipi B Super Compact has two possible positions. When tilted,
the backrest provides an additional comfortable sitting position.
6. Basics of operation
6.1 Buttons and their functions
 Switch on the sauna with the "on/off" button.
 Press the "Mode" button to navigate between menu items.
 Press the "Up" and "Down" buttons to change the values.
 Press the "Vaporiser" button to start vaporisation.
6.2 Status LEDs
Lights up: Function switched on
Flashing: Setting can be changed
The flashing status LED indicates which menu
item is currently selected. If you do not press a button
for 15 seconds, the flashing stops. Press a button to
reactivate the control panel.
6.3 LED indicator
The LED indicator shows the current value for the corresponding menu item.

7. Operating the sauna
7.1 Switching on the sauna
> Switch on the master switch of the control unit.
> Press the "On/Off" button.
The control panel is switched on.
The "Heater" status LED flashes, OFF appears in the display.
You can now switch on the individual functions.
7. 2 Switching on the sauna using the remote start function (optional)
Prerequisite: the remote start function must be installed on-site and the sauna must
be switched on.
> Danger! The heater is a fire hazard!
Make sure there are no objects on the protective grille of the heat inlet or in front
of the air supply opening for the heater.
> Switch the heater on via the contact installed on-site.
i For information on the remote start function including all specifications, refer to the
Pre-installation Data Sheet for the sauna.
7. 3 Switching off the sauna
> Press the "On/Off" button.
The control panel is switched off.
> Switch off the master switch of the control unit.
7. 4 Switching the heater on/off
Note:
When switched on for the first time, the heater may produce a slight odour due to
evaporation of the operating materials used during the manufacturing processes.
> Ventilate the sauna after heating up for the first time, before taking your sauna bath.

> Danger! The heater is a fire hazard!

of the air supply opening for the heater.
> Press the "Mode" button until the "Heater" status LED flashes.
The status is displayed:
OFF = heater off
ON = heater on
> Press the "Up" or "Down" button to switch the heater on/off.
The set status appears in the display.
The "Heater" LED lights up when the heater is switched on.
i The heater may produce popping noises when in operation. These are caused by
expansion of the materials used in the heater: metal, heating elements and stone.
7. 5 Changing the temperature
> Press the "Mode" button until the "Temperature" status LED flashes.
The actual temperature appears in the display.
> Press the "Up" or "Down" button to set the required temperature.
The temperature set appears in the display.
i After 3 seconds, the actual temperature is displayed again.
7. 6 Switching the heater timer on
Prerequisite: the heater is switched off.
> Press the "Mode" button until the "Hourglass" status LED flashes.
> Press the "Up" and "Down" buttons together for 3 seconds.
This takes you to the "Hourglass" submenu, the status appears in the display:
EA0 = timer off
1-24 h = timer on: X hours, until the heater is switched on
> Press the "Up" or "Down" button to set the required time (in hours).
> Press the "Mode" button.
The timer is activated: The display switches off, the "Hourglass" LED flashes.
i If you switch the display back on, the timer will be deactivated!

7. 7 Activating ECO mode
Prerequisite: The heater is on.
> Press the "Mode" button until the "ECO" status LED flashes.
The following status appears in the display:
OFF = ECO mode off
E20 = ECO mode 20 activated
E40 = ECO mode 40 activated
E60 = ECO mode 60 activated
> Press the "Up" or "Down" button to set the required mode.
The set ECO mode appears in the display.
7. 8 Switching the white LED light on/off
> Press the "Mode" button until the "Light" status LED flashes.
The status is displayed:
OFF = light off
ON = light on
> Press the "Up" or "Down" button to switch the light on/off.
The set status is displayed.
7. 9 Switching the hourglass on/off
> Press the "Mode" button until the "Hourglass" status LED flashes.
This takes you to the "Hourglass" menu, the status appears in the display:
OFF = hourglass off
1-99‘ = hourglass on: X minutes
> Press the "Up" or "Down" button to set the required time (in minutes) or switch the
hourglass off.
The time set appears in the display. An acoustic signal sounds once this time has
elapsed.

7.1 0 Starting vaporisation
Prerequisite: vaporiser water tank has been filled, heater is at operating temperature
(>80 °C).
> Press the "Vaporiser" button.
i The quantity of water evaporated depends on how long the button is pressed.
i Ideally the "Vaporiser" button should be pressed for roughly 1 – 2 seconds (Inipi B
Super Compact) or 2– 3 seconds (Inipi B) to vaporise the optimum quantity of water.
Bear in mind that the sauna stones must be allowed to heat up again following each
vaporisation to produce an intense burst of steam. You should therefore wait roughly
8– 10 minutes before the next vaporisation.
7.1 1 Filling the vaporiser water tank / adding fragrant essential oils
Danger! Risk of fire due to highly-flammable substances.
> Never put alcohol in the vaporiser water tank.
> Never add undiluted concentrates to the vaporiser water tank.
Note: the heater may be damaged by deposits.
> Never use saline water.
> Use distilled water in regions where the water contains a large quantity of
limescale or minerals.

> Open the centre flap in the furniture.
> Turn the vaporiser water tank to the right.
> Lift it up and out.

> Fill the vaporiser water tank with water.
> When required, add fragrant essential oils to the water, according to the
manufacturers instructions.
> Reinsert the tank.
> Empty the tank after a sauna bath!
7.1 2 Adjusting the backrest (only Inipi B Super Compact)
> Lift the backrest slightly.
> Grip the bottom edge and pull it forwards.
> Allow it to engage in the gap between the rearmost wood elements of the seating
level.
8. Changing settings
8.1 Changing the units (°C/F)
> Press the "Mode" button until the "Temperature" status LED flashes.
> Press the "Up" and "Down" buttons together for 3 seconds,
this takes you to the "Temperature" submenu and the following status appears in
the display:
"C" = °C
"F" = °F
> Press the "Up" or "Down" buttons to select the required unit.
> Press the "Mode" button.
This takes you back to the "Temperature" menu. The current temperature
appears in the display.

8.2 Switching the remote start function on/off
Prerequisite: the remote start function must be set up on-site.
> Press the "Mode" button until the "Heater" status LED flashes.
"OFF" is displayed.
> Press the "Up" and "Down" buttons together for 3 seconds.
This takes you to the "Heater" submenu, the selected remote start function appears
in the display:
FS0 = remote start off
FS1 = remote start on
> Press the "Up" or "Down" button to switch the remote start function on/off.
> Press the "Mode" button.
This takes you back to the "Heater" main menu.
9. Cleaning and Maintenance
Note: The surfaces may be damaged by using the wrong cleaning agents.
> Only use a cleaning agent that is recommended by Duravit.
> Never use abrasive, aggressive or chemical cleaning agents.
9.1 Outer fronts
Natural wood
Natural wood is a living material. Its structure, grain, porosity and colour
will vary naturally which proves the authenticity of the natural wood material.
> Wash water deposits away immediately with a soft cloth.
> Wipe the fronts with a damp chamois.
> Remove stubborn stains with hot water and, if necessary, washing-up
liquid.
High gloss finish
> Remove light soiling with a cloth.
> Use a damp cloth and possibly washing-up liquid to remove stubborn stains.

9.2 Interior fixtures and fittings
Cabin floor
> Roll up and remove the wooden grids of the cabin floor.
> Clean the grey subfloor with a damp cloth.
Seating and floor grids
> Remove more stubborn stains by sanding in the direction of the grain using
grade 240 sandpaper.
9.3 Vaporiser water tank
> Clean the water tank with warm water and a little washing-up liquid.
9.4 Heater
In particularly damp ambient conditions or if the sauna is not used for long periods,
the heating elements may become loaded with moisture.
> Heat the heater up every 5-6 weeks to avoid this.
9.5 Openings for the air supply
Dust can easily accumulate in the openings for the air supply as air is drawn in at
these points. This restricts the heater air convection which may in turn give rise to
impermissible temperatures.
> Make sure that the openings for the air supply are always unobstructed.
9.6 Collecting tray
> Remove the collection tray.
> Clean it with warm water and a little washing-up liquid.
> Rinse this thoroughly to remove all cleaning agent.

9.7 Replacing the sauna stones
Sauna stones are a product of nature. They may be corroded, particularly by caustic
infusion concentrates, and disintegrate over time.
> Check the sauna stones regularly.
> Replace these if required.
> If you think the sauna stones need to be replaced, please call Customer Service.
9.8 Control panel
> Clean the control panel with a soft, damp cloth.
9.9 Glass
> Clean the glass using a commercially-available glass cleaner.
10. Disposal
Dispose of packaging in an environmentally-sound manner.
Inipi B must be disposed of in an orderly, environmentally-friendly manner according
the standard regulations that apply in your local area. Electronic components must
be recycled. Please consult the recycling point in your area.
